I could tell from her expression she liked this line of work, but was frustrated that no one appreciated her.

Jonah stared at with her eyebrows raised, and then burst into a chuckle.

I pulled her out from the group, at which she was surprised but regained her composure quite quickly.

"Nothing- you just felt a bit off…" I said, trying to place my words a little sympathetically.

"Yes, and?" She replied.

"I just wanted to know if you were fine." I stated.

"Yes! Yes! I am completely fine. Now please, don't bother for a while." Claire said as she snapped at my prying.

"Alright, Alright! I got it." I said, as I raised my hands and backed off.

"What were your trying there?" Asked Jonah as I got back.

"Nothing.."

"Oh, so is that your way of hitting on girls?" Said Jonah with a grin.
