"Well, what do you like about her?" I said with a smiling face, "and how old is she?" I asked while looking away, cuz if she was a fifty or forty year old, I wasn't gonna help this guy out in any way.
"I don't know, probably the sa age as Andra." He said with a shrug.
"You know her Kinsta or so other social dia?"
"I think I know all of them," he said with a proud smile.
'That's not sothing you should be proud of bro, I get it your stalking skills are exceptional.
"Always stalk your crush in moderation, take those words very seriously," I said while looking him in the eye.
The awkwardness and tension between us had now faded to almost nothing.
Hence, Sam replied with a chuckle. " That's why I have different fake accounts on different apps following her, and I sotis even chat with her on Kinstagram from one of the fake accounts, we talk quite frequently."
I blinked a few tis, just processing what this 11 year old had just said.
"Does she know she's texting you?"
"No- obviously not! She thinks it's one of her friends from high school." He said giving a look that had 'duh' written all over it.
I don't know what's more ssed up
the fact that this kid created multiple fake accounts across multiple social dia to stalk his crush or
the fact that he made his crush believe that he was a friend from high school.
"Can I take a look at your chats?" Yeah, there was no way I was buying that his teacher didn't suspect that her high school friend is actually an 11 year old.
"NO! Don't you know what personal space is?" He said in a surprisingly childish yet mature tone.
I could only face palm.
he was probably just lying, but that doesn't look like the face of a liar.
"Alright then, invite to your PTA eting, I'll be glad to help you out," I said with a smile covering my face.
"Really!?"
"Yes, of course, now let's go down, your sister's really worried. Now be a man and don't let her worry about you alright? She's already very stressed out. She keeps a strong face up for you but she's just as much hurt as you." I said bringing this chat to a conclusion.
"I know... I'll apologize."
"Good."
I went downstairs first, and Sam said he'll co soon after a short washroom visit.
"So? Did he?" asked Alexandra worriedly.
"He's in the washroom, he'll join us shortly, anyways." I put my hand on Alexandra's shoulder with a thump and whispered in her ear "Your brother, Sam, he needs professional help at this point, probably..."
"What?"
"You'll get it soday," I said as I nodded like a wise old man.
"Anyways what did you decide on?"
"Yes but, I can't make you pay, let just cook so at ho," Alexandra said hesitantly.
"What are you even talking about, technically speaking my job exists because of you," I said as I grabbed my phone which they placed on the table, and ordered what they had selected.
Alexandra sighed "Alright but next ti's al is on ."
"Sure."
We had to wait for quite a while for the order to arrive.
anwhile, we watched cable TV.
it had been ages since I watched normal TV.
I wanted to introduce the siblings to ani.
sadly though we were restricted to watching, Ken 10.
It would have been very nostalgic to watch Ken 10 since I used to be a really big fan, but.
What was airing right now was not Ken 10, but Ken 10 reboot.
which was Ken 10 but if it was made for unborn babies.
The whole ti Alexandra and I were just dissing on the show.
"Why is this so colorful!?"
"What's this corny animation!?"
"Why is the art style so kid like!?"
"The jokes are not even funny!"
"The original Ken 10 was way cooler."
"Yeah! this is garbage."
"Look at how they massacred my boy"
All the while we were screaming at the screen, Sam and Jake were giving us a disapproving look.
After watching a full episode, we finally realized how we had been acting and looked at Jake and Sam, who said.
"You guys, need to behave while watching TV."
"Yeah, we know." Alexandra and I both said at the sa ti.
Our food had arrived and before we knew it, we were on quite a long streak of making rude comnts on kid's cartoons.
How bad they had gotten with ti.
Jonah was the one who broke our streak at 11 PM as she sent us both an email, that was also when we realized that Sam and Jake fell asleep in the middle of all that shouting.
Before opening the email, I grabbed the sleeping Sam while Alexandra got Jake.
We went upstairs and tucked them into their bed.
"I haven't seen them sleeping so soundly in quite a while. Most of the ti I have to sleep in between them so they can fall asleep and even then they wake up with the slightest sound, Thanks, Max." Alexandra said with a genuine smile on her face.
