"Go straight down this road and you'll reach Celedon City."
"Wow, it's so great having Natsu with us."
"Totally! We don't even have to walk—well, except for ten minutes every hour."
On the road, Natsu strolled leisurely while everyone else was wrapped in a faint blue glow, lifted into the air by his psychic power.
This was one of Natsu's training thods.
Though he could only maintain it for about ten minutes at a ti and needed an hour to recover, the results were clear—his Intelligence had reached 280.
It increased by one point each day, and he felt this number represented the strength of his ntal power. ITS growth matched the progress of his telekinesis, or at the very least served as a reliable reference.
*Whew~* Reaching a large tree, Natsu set everyone down.
"It's noon already, I'll cook." Brock looked up at the sky.
Leaning against the trunk, Natsu had just sat when Giselle pressed close to him.
"Mr. Natsu, I want so of your water," Giselle pleaded pitifully.
"Have Ash's Squirtle spray you," Natsu replied without turning his head, his eyes fixed firmly on the Ultra Ball in his hand.
Hearing that, Giselle sighed in relief. Sa familiar tone, sa Natsu as yesterday.
Clearly, his psychic training hadn't brought about any drastic change in personality.
Still, Natsu had a headache.
Ever since reaching outer realm, he could easily let his telekinesis penetrate every corner of the Ultra Ball.
It felt as though his mind contained a deconstruction machine, laying out every component of the Ultra Ball in front of him.
Yet despite that, he couldn't pinpoint the ball's optimal circuit design.
Compared to a Great Ball, an Ultra Ball's inner structure was much stronger and more stable.
He could easily find space to carve psychic circuits, but even after filtering, too much space remained.
He could co up with countless circuit solutions, but the optimal one was elusive.
Did he have a solution?
Yes—he could model the Ultra Ball's circuitry and send it to Aunt Delia, asking her to use Professor Oak's supercomputer to simulate it and find the best design.
But that wasn't what he wanted.
He had believed that once his psychic power reached the outer realm realm, he'd be able to complete the Ultra Ball Rotom project on his own.
In the end, he was still limited by laboratories and machines.
"System, I had a dream yesterday," Natsu muttered inwardly.
"I dread that when I scratched my lottery today—bam! A portable lab, complete with a deconstruction machine, supercomputer, gravity-differential device…"
After making his wish, he scratched all the tickets he had saved up in the system's space.
**Pokéball ×8, Ultra Ball ×2, Ultimate Laboratory Model ×1**
Was the system ssing with him? It really did give him sothing lab-related.
But it turned out to be a plastic model.
Natsu's mouth twitched as he tossed it back into storage.
The craftsmanship was impeccable—every instrunt was perfectly placed, flawless in detail.
But it was still just a model, completely useless.
"Ahhh, my hat!"
Not far away, Ash shouted in alarm.
Everyone turned and saw a round monkey standing on Ash's head, waving his cap.
**Mankey, the Pig Monkey Pokémon. Agile body, violent temperant.**
"You jerk, give back my hat!"
Ignoring the Pokédex, Ash reached out to snatch it back.
*Man-KEYYYYYY!* Mankey screeched, plopping the cap onto its own head before unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks on Ash.
One punch landed, but Ash was fine. Mankey, however, seed provoked, its shrieks growing sharper.
One punch, two punches—three minutes later, Mankey began to falter, its blows losing strength.
Five minutes later, panic set in.
*Mankeyyyyyyy!* It turned its head, ready to bolt.
"Stop right there!" Ash's furious shout rang out behind it.
"That's a limited-edition cap! Natsu took to the League matches last year and we won it in a lottery—only a hundred in the whole League!"
"That cap holds mories of and Natsu, you jerk!"
Mankey froze. This Trainer was yelling sothing about bonds and mories while charging at it.
Ash unleashed all his strength!
*Bang!*
Mankey was sent flying high into the air, soaring for minutes before crashing into the tall grass nearby.
*Keyyyyyyyy!* Mankey roared as its body lit up with a white glow, its form expanding and growing more muscular.
Half a minute later, its rounder body stood taller, its limbs bulging with power.
"It evolved in its rage!" Brock gasped.
"Ash, be careful!" Misty warned.
**Priape, the evolved form of Mankey. Always furious. Once it locks onto a target, it will chase them relentlessly until the end.**
"Priape really does look like a powerful Pokémon…"
Ash muttered, just as Priape launched itself into the air, charging straight at him.
*Priiiii!* Priape snarled savagely, determined to tear Ash apart, locking into a brawl with him.
...
**Three minutes later**
*Boom!* Priape was sent hurtling back, slamming into a tree and slumping over, exhausted.
"Hmph. And I thought it'd be a strong Pokémon."
Ash stood there, only his clothes slightly dirty.
"Ash, maybe this Priape has sothing on its mind," Brock suddenly said, stepping forward.
"Huh? What could it possibly be thinking about?" Ash asked, adjusting his cap.
Smiling, Brock walked closer, speaking gently:
"No Pokémon attacks us for no reason. I believe this one must have its own troubles."
"We should soften it with love!"
He crouched before Priape, opening his palm to reveal Pokémon food.
"Here, Priape. Eat." Brock smiled kindly.
Priape froze, glancing from Brock's face to the food, eyes flicking back and forth.
"Ash, see? You need patience with Pokémon, not always battle—ahhh!"
Before he could finish, Priape leapt on him, locking his throat with one arm and pounding his face with massive fists.
"Ash! Beat it! Hurry, beat it!" Brock yelled desperately.
"This is so embarrassing…" Misty covered her face.
Suddenly, a blue glow enveloped Brock, pulling him and Priape apart.
*Mape?* Priape blinked in confusion, then fixed its gaze on Natsu.
*Priii!* It challenged loudly.
Through faint psychic resonance, Natsu understood its intent.
"You're asking where we co from?" Natsu blinked and then asnwered, "We're from the East, traveling west to obtain sacred texts," he said smoothly.
"Why are we so strong?" Natsu frowned—this Priape had too many questions.
"Because we have the power of a team—the bonds and friendship he keeps shouting about." Natsu pointed at Ash.
"What's his na?" Natsu glanced at Ash and replied casually:
"He's called Sun Wukong."
With that, Natsu casually flicked Priape into the air.
As it soared, Priape rubbed its chin.
It would find a team.
It would call itself Sun Wukong.
It would beco strong—just like that human!
