"Up to this point, Jacob has maintained a slight advantage throughout the match," the comntator observed with growing excitent.

"He still has two Pokemon remaining—Sceptile and Noibat—while Wylder only has one Pokemon left: his Drapion, which has already been revealed."

"And as everyone knows, Jacob's Sceptile is his true ace Pokemon, so Wylder finds himself in an extrely difficult position."

At this crucial mont, Wylder's expression suddenly shifted to one of unexpected calm. Now that he faced such a significant disadvantage, he no longer felt the crushing weight of victory or defeat. Instead, he simply wanted to savor this final battle completely, treating the battlefield as his stage for one last magnificent performance.

"Go, Drapion!"

"ROOOAR!" Drapion materialized on the field, releasing a fierce, intimidating roar that echoed throughout the stadium.

"It's your turn, Sceptile."

Jacob responded by throwing his Poke Ball, sending out his ace Pokemon with practiced confidence.

Unlike Drapion's thunderous entrance, Sceptile appeared with remarkable composure. The Grass-type revealed its imposing fra and fixed Drapion with penetrating eyes, maintaining complete silence as it sized up its opponent.

Sceptile's intense gaze created an oppressive aura that washed over Drapion like a tangible force. In terms of sheer physical presence alone, Sceptile's muscular build could only be described as intimidating, completely dwarfing Drapion's smaller fra.

However, for a naturally aggressive Pokemon like Drapion, facing stronger opponents only served to ignite its ferocious fighting spirit even further.

"The battle begins!"

As the referee's voice rang out across the arena, Jacob and Wylder issued their commands with almost perfect synchronization.

"Swords Dance, Sceptile!" "Swords Dance, Drapion!"

The two trainers exchanged knowing glances. It seed they had both arrived at the sa strategic conclusion, employing identical tactics to open the match: dramatically boosting their Pokemon's attack power with Swords Dance before engaging in direct combat.

After completing one round of stat enhancent, Jacob chose not to continue powering up, instead opting to have Sceptile launch an imdiate offensive.

Since Drapion possessed dual Poison and Dark typing, it naturally resisted both Grass-type and Dark-type moves. Taking this defensive advantage into account, Jacob decided to have Sceptile use Dragon Claw instead of its more typical Leaf Blade or Night Slash attacks.

Sceptile's razor-sharp claws began glowing with concentrated Dragon-type energy as its powerful leg muscles coiled like springs. In a burst of explosive movent, Sceptile launched itself forward, its erald form streaking across the battlefield as it rushed toward Drapion with incredible velocity.

It seed almost impossible that a Sceptile with such an imposing, muscular build could maintain such extraordinary speed, causing the entire audience to gasp in amazent.

"Jacob's Sceptile is absolutely perfect in every way," the comntator marveled. "If there were a bodybuilding competition in the Pokemon world, this Sceptile would definitely claim a top-three finish."

Facing Sceptile's sudden aggressive charge, Wylder smiled with genuine enjoynt. Free from the burden of expectations, he threw himself completely into the battle, choosing to have Drapion et the attack head-on: "Excellent! Drapion, use Cross Poison!"

Drapion swung its powerful front limbs in a crossing pattern, both appendages glowing with sinister purple poison energy as it slashed at the approaching Sceptile with venomous claws!

The two massive Pokemon collided with trendous force. Cross Poison t Dragon Claw in a spectacular clash as Poison-type energy and Dragon-type energy sparked against each other. Sceptile's arm muscles bulged prominently beneath its scales, every fiber clearly defined from the intense exertion. Similarly, Drapion's two front limbs strained with maximum effort as both Pokemon engaged in a brutal test of raw strength.

In their very first exchange, both competitors imdiately committed to an all-out contest of pure power!

Compared to the earlier energy-based battle between Charizard and Gengar, this confrontation between Drapion and Sceptile represented a completely different style—a physical brawl between seasoned warriors, a contest that would test strength, speed, endurance, and tactical thinking in equal asure.

"ROOOAAR!"

A powerful roar echoed across the battlefield. The strength contest between Sceptile and Drapion remained perfectly balanced for several tense seconds before both Pokemon simultaneously disengaged and pulled back to reassess their opponent.

A cold, calculating gleam flashed in Sceptile's eyes. Utilizing its superior speed advantage, it began circling around Drapion like a predator stalking its prey, launching Dragon Claw attacks in rapid succession as it searched for any weakness in Drapion's defensive posture. But Drapion proved more than capable of matching this aggression, retaliating with its own Cross Poison strikes at every opportunity.

"CRACK!" "BANG!"

Every collision between the two powerhouses sent sparks flying through the air, and for several intense minutes, neither Pokemon managed to gain a decisive advantage over the other.

Close-quarters combat differed fundantally from long-range special attack exchanges. Ranged battles primarily tested a Pokemon's control over energy—whoever could release more powerful attacks with greater precision would typically erge victorious.

But close-quarters combat followed entirely different rules. The higher the level of hand-to-hand fighting, the more it demanded from a Pokemon's complete combat capabilities.

Such battles tested not only raw strength and speed, but also split-second decision-making abilities and lightning-fast reaction tis.

Similarly, this type of intense physical combat placed enormous demands on each Trainer's decisive leadership. Knowing when to command specific tactics could have a crucial impact on the battle's ultimate outco.

For the mont, neither Jacob nor Wylder issued commands to their Pokemon. Instead, they allowed Sceptile and Drapion to fight freely, letting their partners engage in their own primal struggle for dominance.

In the close-quarters lee, Sceptile moved with the fluid grace of a diving swan or a swimming dragon, its Dragon Claw attacks flowing in continuous combinations as it searched relentlessly for an opening to break through Drapion's defense. But Drapion stood like an impenetrable fortress, holding its ground and countering every assault. Its two thick, flexible front limbs seed capable of deflecting all of Sceptile's offensive attempts.

Recognizing the developing stalemate, Jacob imdiately shifted his strategy: "Sceptile, use Dragon Pulse!"

Drapion had built its reputation on exceptional defensive capabilities, and its current defensive stance appeared virtually unbreakable through physical attacks alone. Jacob decided a tactical change was necessary.

He commanded Sceptile to switch to special attacks. While Sceptile was naturally better known for its special attack potential, it had access to relatively few powerful special moves in its movepool, so it rarely relied on this approach. However, this limitation didn't an Sceptile was weak in special combat situations.

Sceptile's mouth began gathering concentrated Dragon-type energy. After half a year of intensive training in the Dragon-type Secret Realm, Sceptile's mastery over Dragon-type energy had reached impressive heights. Within re seconds, a substantial amount of Dragon energy had collected in front of Sceptile's jaws, and then the attack was suddenly unleashed.

The surging Dragon energy transford into a devastating shockwave that rocketed toward Drapion with trendous force.

Unlike Sceptile's seamless transition between attack styles, Drapion had no effective counterasure against special attacks. Drapion's movepool contained very few special attack options, and its performance in special combat scenarios was notably poor.

Drapion was essentially limited to physical attack strategies—special attack-focused Drapion were extrely rare and generally not considered competitive threats.

"Drapion, charge forward and continue with Cross Poison!"

"ROOOOOAR!"

Drapion released a thunderous battle cry as it used all four limbs to charge directly toward Sceptile with reckless determination.

At the sa mont, Sceptile's Dragon Pulse was about to make direct contact with the approaching Drapion.

Rather than attempting to dodge the incoming attack, Drapion raised its two front limbs, which imdiately began glowing with dark purple-black Poison-type energy. Wrapping itself in concentrated Poison-type power, it used its crossed claws as a shield and charged straight through the Dragon Pulse, enduring the attack's full force as it closed the distance to Sceptile!

"Cross Poison!"

After absorbing most of the Dragon Pulse's impact with its crossed defensive claws, Drapion powered through the remaining energy and surged forward to launch a devastating counterattack at point-blank range.

"CRASH!"

Facing Drapion's Cross Poison assault, Sceptile extended its own claws and defended with Dragon Claw, causing both Pokemon to lock into another intense struggle for dominance.

"Drapion, Fire Fang!"

While its claws remained locked in combat, Drapion revealed another weapon. Its sharp fangs suddenly ignited with flickering flas as it lunged forward to bite Sceptile.

"Sceptile, Dragon Pulse!"

Confronted with Drapion's Fire Fang attack, Jacob could only command Sceptile to use Dragon Pulse as a defensive counterattack.

The Dragon Pulse energy surged outward, creating a powerful shockwave that blasted Drapion and inflicted significant damage. But simultaneously, Drapion's Fire Fang found its mark on Sceptile, causing the Grass-type's face to contort in obvious pain as it released an angry roar of frustration.

Drapion's offensive assault was far from finished. Its tail began glowing with sinister purple Poison-type energy, and the sharp claw at its tip moved with the fluid precision of a striking snake as it suddenly stabbed toward Sceptile!

"Poison Tail!"

Drapion's diverse array of attack thods made it incredibly difficult to defend against effectively. From the Cross Poison strikes of its front claws to the Fire Fang attacks from its mouth and the Poison Tail strikes from its flexible tail, every part of its body could be weaponized and applied with devastating effect.

Facing what appeared to be an unstoppable combination attack, Sceptile suddenly erupted with Fighting-type energy, manifesting a protective light barrier directly in front of its body that successfully blocked Drapion's multi-pronged assault!
