Jett's death attracted no attention whatsoever—it was simply another casualty in the dangerous world of Pokemon poaching, where such fatalities were tragically common.

When individuals chose to enter this perilous line of work, they had already accepted the very real possibility of death as an occupational hazard.

Upon returning to the Patrol Team headquarters, Jacob imdiately contacted his network to investigate Silkridge City, seeking to verify whether a person nad Davis actually existed and if he truly had a sister and mother as he had claid.

Following this investigation, Jacob and his two companions resud their routine lives of patrolling and training, carrying on as if nothing significant had occurred.

A week passed swiftly, and Jacob received the results of his inquiry: Davis was indeed a legitimate rural resident of Silkridge City.

His father had died several years earlier due to illness, leaving behind only a blind mother and a younger sister nad Ruby, who was still attending school.

Based on this information, it appeared that Davis had been truthful about his family circumstances.

However, determining the actual quality of his relationship with his family mbers would require eting them in person to make an accurate assessnt.

Ti moved quickly, and another week had elapsed.

Under the patient and expert guidance of Iron Valiant and Charizard, Aerodactyl had finally learned to obey commands from both Jacob and Asher, showing remarkable progress in its behavioral training.

With only one week remaining before his departure from the Patrol Team, Jacob made the decision to explore the Underground World by himself one final ti.

The morning air carried a slight chill as the eastern horizon displayed the first hints of dawn.

The rising sun cast its rays upon the pristine white snow, creating a magnificent golden glow across the mountainside.

Jacob made thorough preparations for his expedition, packing essential tools and equipnt before beginning his solo exploration of the mysterious Underground World.

In the mountain forest, each step he took left a clear footprint in the snow, and looking back, he could see a distinct trail marking his passage.

Jacob genuinely enjoyed this type of exploration, especially in the Pokemon world, where he could travel freely with his backpack and his trusted Pokemon companions.

The thought of traversing magnificent landscapes, journeying through mountains and rivers, soaring across great waterways on Charizard's back, battling fierce winds and waves on the open sea, climbing towering peaks to survey the world below, listening to rain pattering on leaves and wind rustling through branches—doing what he loved while remaining far from the noise and chaos of everyday life—filled him with profound anticipation.

Of course, it would be ideal if he could be like Ash, with a skilled cook and a trusted companion by his side—that would truly represent the pinnacle of happiness.

Shaking his head, Jacob dismissed these pleasant fantasies from his mind.

Real life contained too many obligations and constraints; the concept of "freedom" couldn't be achieved simply through wishful thinking.

Following the route he had morized from his previous expedition, Jacob once again arrived at the cave entrance that had been created by Steelix.

He first carefully examined the small detection chanism he had installed at the entrance, ensuring it hadn't been discovered by wild Pokemon or other human explorers.

Only after confirming the area remained secure did he enter the cave directly, then released Charizard from its Poke Ball. While gently stroking Charizard's head, he spoke in a calm but serious tone.

"Charizard, we're going to explore this place again. There are nurous powerful wild Pokemon dwelling within these tunnels, so we need to remain extrely careful," Jacob reminded his Fire-type partner.

Charizard nodded with understanding, giving Jacob a reassuring look that conveyed its readiness for whatever challenges lay ahead.

Riding on Charizard's back, they flew steadily through the cave system and into the vast Underground World beyond.

Jacob found himself once again in the expansive subterranean realm, where he observed those sa rare Rock-type and Steel-type Pokemon he had encountered during his previous visit.

Jacob directed Charizard to navigate carefully through the complex network of interconnected tunnels.

As they ventured deeper into the cave system, the passages beca increasingly narrow, eventually forcing Jacob to recall Charizard and continue on foot while releasing Alakazam to serve as his guide and protector.

For this particular exploration, Jacob had co fully prepared, bringing not only abundant food supplies and camping equipnt but also advanced technological tools such as a high-powered flashlight.

Jacob retrieved the powerful flashlight from his pack, instantly illuminating the path ahead with brilliant light, and followed closely behind Alakazam as they proceeded deeper underground.

The intense beam shone against the cave walls, and Jacob suddenly noticed sothing he had overlooked during his previous expedition—there were occasional deposits of transparent tals embedded in the rock walls, reflecting beautiful prismatic light under the flashlight's illumination.

Jacob hadn't observed these tallic deposits during his earlier exploration, perhaps because he had been focused on battling wild Pokemon and hadn't paid attention to the composition of the rock walls, or perhaps he simply hadn't ventured deep enough into the cave system.

Regardless of the reason, Jacob had completely missed the transparent tals during his first visit.

This ti, equipped with proper lighting, Jacob discovered them clearly, and the deeper he progressed into the cave, the more abundant these transparent tallic deposits beca.

Jacob paused in his advance, unable to prevent his thoughts from turning to the implications of what he was observing. These transparent tals, combined with the presence of Rock-type Pokemon, imdiately brought to mind the legendary Pokemon known as Diancie.

Diancie was classified as a Jewel Pokemon, representing a rare mutated form of the more common Carbink species.

Its body sparkled with brilliant pink light, creating a truly dazzling spectacle to behold.

Diancie also held the distinguished position of queen within Carbink kingdoms.

An unevolved Diancie served as princess of the Carbink kingdom, and upon evolution, she would ascend to beco the reigning queen of her realm.

Legend claid that every Carbink kingdom possessed its own Diancie, though Jacob remained uncertain whether this information was factual or rely folklore.

In its standard form, Diancie functioned primarily as a defensive tank, possessing slightly weaker stamina but exceptionally high defensive capabilities, balanced offensive stats, and relatively poor speed.

However, after achieving ga Evolution, Diancie underwent a dramatic transformation from a tank-oriented Pokemon into a formidable dual attacker, gaining significantly increased speed while sacrificing so defensive capabilities in exchange for greatly enhanced offensive power, making it an extraordinarily dangerous opponent.

If Diancie truly existed within this underground realm, Jacob understood he would need to exercise extre caution.

First, the strength and potential of any legendary Pokemon were never to be underestimated, and not every legendary Pokemon possessed the gentle temperant that so were known for.

Additionally, Jacob recognized that he might face not only Diancie itself but potentially the entire Carbink kingdom that served under its rule.

Continuing deeper into the cave system, the passage grew increasingly narrow, and the likelihood of encountering wild Pokemon increased dramatically.

Moreover, both the strength and potential of these Pokemon specins continued to escalate as he ventured further underground.

"Alakazam, use Fire Punch!"

When faced with the Overlord-class Tinkaton that suddenly appeared before them, Jacob imdiately chose to have Alakazam employ the Fire-type move Fire Punch to exploit the Steel-type Pokemon's weakness.

A layer of crimson flas engulfed Alakazam's sharp psychic projections, and the Psychic-type Pokemon instantly rushed toward Tinkaton, delivering a series of devastating strikes.

Flas danced and erupted with intense heat, bringing down the Tinkaton with a single overwhelming assault.

Looking at the incapacitated Tinkaton lying before him, Jacob chose not to attempt capture, instead deciding to continue his exploration.

This particular Tinkaton's potential wasn't sufficiently high to warrant using one of his precious Pokemon capture opportunities.

After walking for approximately ten more minutes, a faint light gradually appeared at the end of the narrow cave passage, resembling the first rays of dawn and lifting Jacob's spirits considerably.

Simultaneously, the cave entrance beca so constricted that Jacob was forced to turn sideways in order to squeeze through the opening.

After advancing several dozen more steps, when Jacob finally passed through this extrely narrow bottleneck, his field of vision suddenly expanded dramatically, revealing another vast Underground World stretching out before him.

The surrounding rock walls were completely covered with colorful tallic deposits, and the glittering tals shone with absolutely dazzling light, illuminating the entire cavern with an almost magical radiance.

Furthermore, the cavern itself was extraordinarily large, with a ceiling height reaching nearly several dozen ters, resembling a massive hemispherical do spanning across the underground chamber.

Within this magnificent space, Jacob observed countless rare Pokemon species.

Carbink floated gracefully through the air, while Beldum hovered with their magnetic abilities. Mawile moved cautiously along the ground, and Aron searched for tal deposits to consu. Gigalith stood like massive stone sentinels, and nurous Minior drifted overhead like living stars.

Beyond these Steel-type and Rock-type Pokemon, Jacob also spotted several Fairy-type Pokemon including Clefairy and Jigglypuff moving through the crystalline environnt.

Witnessing this incredible diversity, Jacob beca even more convinced of his earlier speculation: the legendary Pokemon Diancie might truly exist within this underground kingdom.

Upon reaching this conclusion, Jacob couldn't help but feel a strong urge to retreat; he honestly preferred to avoid direct confrontations with legendary Pokemon when possible.

However, having already traveled this far and invested so much effort in reaching this location, how could Jacob simply abandon his exploration so easily?

Jacob directly retrieved Iron Valiant's Poke Ball from his belt and released his Fighting/Fairy-type partner.

The rich Fairy-type energy emanating from the surrounding environnt would provide significant benefits to Iron Valiant's dual Fighting/Fairy typing.

As soon as Iron Valiant materialized, it imdiately sensed the abundant Fairy-type energy perating the cavern.

The Pokemon gripped its distinctive double-bladed appendages firmly, beginning to absorb the surrounding Fairy-type energy to enhance its own capabilities.

Positioned safely behind both Alakazam and Iron Valiant, Jacob silently observed the dreamlike, magnificent, and breathtakingly beautiful scenery surrounding him.

The Fairy-type energy was so dense it seed almost tangible, creating an atmosphere that made Jacob feel exceptionally pleasant and at peace.

Legend suggested that Fairy-type energy could provide beneficial effects for the human body, and when combined with Grass-type energy, it could potentially slow the aging process.

Jacob remained uncertain whether this information was factual or rely superstition, but surrounded by such rich Fairy-type energy, he genuinely felt both physically and ntally rejuvenated.

Contemplating the nature of Fairy-type energy, Jacob couldn't help but think of a certain Fairy-type Elite Four mber he had heard about.

That would certainly explain how she maintained such a youthful and beautiful appearance despite being nearly forty years old.

Could this represent the true appeal and power of Fairy-type energy?

How strange...

Why had he been thinking about her so frequently lately?
