Green slowly opened her eyes, those expressive, soul-like orbs flickering with life.

The piercing sunlight made her wince and let out a soft hum as she squinted again, taking a while to adjust from darkness to the sudden radiance.

Her gaze darted cautiously around the area, and it didn't take long for her to figure out where she was.

Thankfully, it wasn't so terrifying underground torture room. She recognized the outskirts of Cerulean City—lush greenery, mountains, rivers. Wild Pokémon wandered nearby.

Turning her head, she spotted Wartortle tied to another tree, slumped over in defeat just like her. As for her Ditto—likely considered too slippery to bind physically—it had been knocked out with Hypnosis and lay unconscious.

Still… this binding position was seriously wrong!

Green struggled slightly, and her face instantly flushed red. She had been tied up in a shibari-style rope harness—specifically, the turtle-shell bondage technique. Though the knots weren't perfect, they were tight enough to emphasize every delicate curve of her petite figure.

Her knees were pressed into the grass, hands and legs pulled back around the tree, completely immobilizing her.

Even the world's best escape artist wouldn't be able to wriggle free from this.

What terrified Green the most, though, was the discomfort beneath her skirt.

She was still technically a maiden, untouched—but now a wave of dread swept through her.

Had sothing... happened while she was unconscious?

Her trembling fingers subtly confird her underwear was still on, and there wasn't any pain or tearing down there. That was enough to keep her panic in check for now.

Soone had definitely done sothing to her body, but thankfully it hadn't crossed the worst possible line.

From what she could guess, it was probably just hands—playing around, violating her privacy and dignity.

For a girl, it was still humiliating, still shaful... but it wasn't utterly soul-shattering.

She could—just barely—find it in herself to forgive him. She could tell herself it wasn't completely unforgivable.

"Awake already?"

That maddeningly familiar voice grated in her ears, and Green imdiately saw Logan approaching—Gabite, his towering three-ter-tall dragon, by his side.

Sha and rage flooded her face, but as Logan drew closer, she switched masks like a seasoned actress.

Her eyes welled up with tears, her voice soft and trembling, "...You—you'll take responsibility, won't you?"

"Take responsibility? Don't be so vague," Logan said calmly. "We didn't do anything, so why would I need to take responsibility?"

His tone was smooth, but his heart wasn't as composed.

Truthfully, even without going all the way, Logan still felt the crushing weight of his conscience.

Two decades of moral upbringing, two decades of being a law-abiding, polite, courteous gentleman—all of it now pressing down on his chest like a mountain.

To cross that line, even a little, was no small thing.

In this new world, he had obtained overwhelming power. He understood how things worked here.

The law ant nothing to soone strong enough to resist it.

And with wtwo at his command, Logan was certain—if he ever chose to defy the law, there was nothing this world could do to stop him.

wtwo resembled a human, but it was still a Pokémon.

It didn't understand human morality.

It acted based on Logan's will alone.

If Logan wanted to beco a tyrant or a world-destroying madman, his Pokémon would never question it. They would support him, even sacrifice themselves for him without hesitation.

That was the nature of Pokémon—so loyal, so pure… and so easy for twisted humans to exploit.

And in a world where Logan had nearly absolute freedom, the only barrier between himself and total depravity… was his own self-control.

Unlike most trainers, who grew stronger over ti and matured through hardship, Logan had started off with a living cheat code—wtwo.

Even now, it had limitations, but unless Logan purposely sabotaged himself, no one could lay a hand on him.

A man from another world, suddenly handed godlike power…

Of course the darker thoughts would co.

A beautiful unconscious girl before him—irresistibly stunning, the kind of beauty that made hearts race, like an enchantress from a dream.

He could do anything.

And if he erased her and her Pokémon afterward, no one would ever know.

Covering his tracks would be child's play.

And his Pokémon? They wouldn't even bla him.

They'd support him without hesitation.

To resist temptation in that mont...

To walk away from that darkness...

It was proof that he was still human. Not yet a beast unleashed.

Still, while he hadn't crossed the final line that would damn his soul forever, Logan had still... indulged a little.

Just enough to punish this deceitful girl—and reward himself for staying in control.

He stared at Green, still playing her part like a dedicated actress, and for so reason… he sighed.

There was a flicker of sadness in his eyes.

He rembered what Professor Oak had told him.

When Green was just five, she had been snatched from Pallet Town by so enormous, unknown bird Pokémon.

That she was even alive today was a miracle.

A little girl, ripped from her family, left to survive alone in a harsh world.

From five to fifteen, she had crawled her way through despair, clawed her way to survival.

Logan couldn't imagine what she'd gone through.

So yes, the girl before him was manipulative, deceptive, even infuriating.

But every fake tear, every dramatic act...

Was just her desperate way of clinging to life.

If she hadn't beco like this, if she hadn't learned to play this role…

She'd probably be so pitiful beggar in a gutter, wearing rags and waiting for death.

To hate her was easy.

To pity her was easy.

But both were insults to who she was.

Green t his gaze, sensing that complicated look in his eyes.

Her chest tightened with a mix of unease and anger.

But deep down… she was scared.

Right now, he held all the power.

And she was just a fish on the chopping block.

Even if she were a legendary trickster, there was no trick she could pull now.
