After Zekrom and Lugia departed, Latias, while invisible, carried Logan to the other side of Soffan Island.
The island had already been reduced to half its original size during the previous battles.
The once towering mountains had collapsed into shallow valleys.
On the backside of the island lay a chaotic forest of broken rocks.
When wtwo unleashed Psychic Break earlier to drive Lugia away, Lance had been carried here by his Aerodactyl.
Latias descended from the sky and transford into her maid form.
Logan lowered his head, observing the bloodstains scattered among the rocks, following the trail as he searched for Lance's whereabouts.
As he walked, he took out two Poké Balls.
Looking at the faint silhouettes of Garchomp and wtwo inside the translucent spheres, he sighed softly.
"You worked hard… wtwo, Garchomp."
"ga Evolution really isn't easy to handle."
"No wonder Professor Fuji once said that in so recorded cases of ga Evolution, Pokémon actually died after the transformation ended."
"Even with your strength, your bodies still suffered considerable strain."
The Poké Balls shook lightly, as if the two Pokémon were reassuring Logan.
Logan wasn't worried about wtwo.
With the power and characteristics of a legendary Pokémon, there was no way ga Evolution could threaten its life.
Thankfully, Garchomp had also survived the risks of ga Evolution.
Although it would need to rest and recover for so ti, as long as its life wasn't in danger, everything else could be resolved.
ga Evolution was truly terrifying.
After evolving, ga Garchomp's overall strength was comparable to Zekrom's.
In fact, aside from slightly weaker endurance, its attack and speed were even superior to Zekrom's.
Although Logan had now fully mastered ga Evolution, it remained extrely dangerous.
Unless he was in a truly desperate situation, it would be best not to use it casually.
This wasn't an ordinary technique.
It was a final trump card.
Of course, given Logan's current strength, there were very few opponents left in the world capable of forcing him to use ga Evolution.
Even without it, Logan's power already rivaled Lance's.
But once he unleashed that final hidden weapon—
Even the Commander of the Kanto Elite Four had fallen beneath him.
"wtwo… do you rember the figure we saw in the Hall of Origin when you ga Evolved?"
As Logan followed the blood trail, he spoke about the realization he had gained earlier.
wtwo's voice echoed in his mind.
"Are you saying that figure was the Creator God you ntioned?"
"Yes."
"That was definitely Arceus."
"What did you feel when you saw it?"
wtwo paused slightly before replying.
"Even though it was only a shadow… I know I am completely incapable of defeating it."
"No… more accurately, I wouldn't even have the will to fight in front of it."
Logan nodded thoughtfully.
"Let's set aside Arceus's strength for now."
"From the glimpse I saw, Arceus's condition felt… strange."
"Almost as if its sanity was slipping."
"That state matches the information we received from w, as well as the theories I've been forming."
He rubbed his chin.
"And did you notice sothing?"
"When you ga Evolved, the power ca directly from Arceus itself."
"At that mont, I could clearly feel Arceus becoming weaker."
wtwo fell silent.
"So you're saying…"
"Yes."
"My interpretation is this."
"If a Pokémon truly masters ga Evolution, it permanently steals a portion of Arceus's power."
"In other words, it's equivalent to forcing Arceus to create another legendary Pokémon."
Logan's eyes glead.
The power boost granted by ga Evolution was imnse.
Even if it couldn't reach the level of top-tier legendary Pokémon like Zekrom or Lugia—
It had still stepped into the realm of legends.
But this evolution was also like poison.
If mishandled, it ant trading life for a temporary burst of legendary power.
"I don't know how many people have truly mastered ga Evolution."
"But based on available records, the number must be extrely small."
"Those Pokémon that died after ga Evolving weren't true masters."
"They rely borrowed Arceus's power once."
"And eventually that power returned."
"But Garchomp and you… are different."
"You permanently retained that power."
"Since the beginning of recorded human history, there has never been a record of Arceus creating a new legendary Pokémon."
"We only discover legendary Pokémon that already existed."
"That ans Arceus has likely reached the limit of how many Pokémon it can create."
"Or perhaps… for so unknown reason, it can no longer create new ones."
Logan clenched his fist and swung it downward.
"Every ti a Pokémon truly masters ga Evolution…"
"Arceus loses a portion of its own origin power."
"It grows weaker."
"If enough Pokémon achieve this…"
"Arceus will weaken endlessly."
"And if we can then find a way to suppress its authority over creation…"
"Defeating it will no longer be impossible."
His eyes burned with conviction.
"This… is the power created when humans and Pokémon fight together as partners."
"Even the Creator God might one day be defeated."
"Neither Pokémon nor humans could ever accomplish such a miracle alone."
ga Evolution and Legendary Secret Arts were both powers that Pokémon could not use independently.
They required a trainer capable of matching them.
You could say that ga Evolution was "power," while the trainer's secret arts were "technique."
Only when the two combined could the perfect state be achieved.
Logan's gaze shone brightly.
Within it lay an ambition vast enough to reshape the world—
And an ideal just as real.
Behind him, Latias covered her mouth with one hand, trying to hide her astonishnt.
She had always known about Logan's ambitions.
But she believed they would take an incredibly long ti to accomplish.
Perhaps even a lifeti would not be enough.
After all, the being Logan sought to challenge was not rely a monster.
It was the true god of the world.
The origin of everything.
Latias never imagined Logan would actually discover a path—
A path capable of overturning the Creator God itself.
And now…
He had already begun walking that path.
Latias's eyes flickered.
As an Eon Pokémon, both she and Latios were born from Arceus's power.
Because of this, the siblings could sense the instability within Arceus's spirit more clearly than anyone.
If things continued this way—
Perhaps one day all Pokémon, all humans, and even the world itself would vanish.
The trainer she had chosen…
Might truly beco the savior of this world.
Long ago, Latios and Latias had already sensed the hidden power of ga Evolution.
Their sharp instincts allowed them to detect that concealed force.
That was why they had created the Eon Flute together.
The flute served as the bridge between humans and Pokémon.
Unfortunately, over countless years, no human had ever ford a bond strong enough with them to awaken that miraculous power.
Of course, Logan could not yet do so either.
They had only known each other for a short ti.
It was impossible to form such a deep spiritual connection so quickly.
But Latias believed that one day—
Logan would truly connect with her heart.
Just as he had done with Garchomp and wtwo.
However…
Such things couldn't rely solely on the trainer.
As a Pokémon, she also needed to make an effort.
So…
What should she do to make her master happier?
How could she earn even more of his trust?
The dragon fell into deep contemplation.
