It was like the fragrance of the Viridian Forest.

Like birds chirping at dawn.

Like a faint and elegant scent lingering at the tip of one's nose.

It was like warm sunlight shining through a window, gently waking soone from sleep.

But this kiss was completely different.

There was no hint of flirtation.

No trace of desire.

Instead, it was like the scent of fresh earth in nature.

Like a crystal-clear river flowing quietly.

Like willow branches swaying along the banks.

Like blooming flowers whispering in the wind, accompanied by birdsong.

Logan had never imagined that Yellow would suddenly kiss him.

It felt as though he had not touched the soft lips of a girl—

But rather the whisper of the Viridian Forest itself.

The fragrance of nature.

It was as it was nature kissing him.

As if he had beco one with the entire natural world.

The vastness of the sky.

The solidity of the earth.

The waves of the ocean.

The assault of flas.

The nourishnt of rain.

The flourishing of plants.

Even the mysterious energies drifting through space itself—

At that mont, Logan felt all of it.

The sensation was similar to when his consciousness had rged with wtwo's psychic power earlier.

When he had seen the world through wtwo's eyes.

Logan understood.

The perception he was experiencing now was the world seen through Yellow's perspective.

Through this kiss, the girl was showing him what the world looked like in her eyes.

The imnse power of nature seed like an inseparable chaos—

Yet within that chaos it was perfectly divided into eighteen distinct parts.

Normal.

Fire.

Water.

Grass.

Electric.

Ice.

Fighting.

Poison.

Ground.

Flying.

Psychic.

Bug.

Rock.

Ghost.

Dragon.

Dark.

Steel.

Fairy.

Those eighteen powers represented the eighteen Pokémon types discovered by humanity.

Among them, Logan even recognized the sa Ice power used earlier by the masked man.

That mysterious figure must have already mastered the Ice portion of nature's power, which was why he could freeze the entire world with such terrifying might.

Logan rembered reading sothing long ago in an ancient manuscript.

It spoke of a mysterious power known as the Ultimate Secret Art.

A power that required a trainer to draw upon the forces of nature and transmit them to their Pokémon before it could be unleashed.

At the ti, Logan had dismissed it as fantasy.

He had assud the manuscript was probably written by so ancient novelist.

After all, the concept sounded far too mystical.

But now—

He realized it was real.

This power also revealed sothing extrely important:

The true role of the trainer in battle.

Weak trainers focused only on strengthening their Pokémon.

They believed that as long as their Pokémon were powerful, nothing else mattered.

They never cared about their own growth.

Nor about the bond they shared with their Pokémon.

Because of that, their potential always had a limit.

True strength ca from both trainer and Pokémon becoming stronger together.

Battles did not belong to Pokémon alone.

They belonged to trainer and Pokémon together.

Only when both hearts were united could they reach higher realms of power.

Among the eighteen possible paths of natural power—

Logan imdiately chose the two most important to him.

Then—

The kiss ended.

Yellow lowered her head shyly, her face burning red.

Her heart pounded wildly.

Her senses seed magnified as she noticed the shocked expressions on everyone around them.

She did not know how to explain what she had just done.

She had only wanted to pass her understanding to Logan.

But after thinking about it again and again—

This was the only thod she could co up with.

"…Big brother… did you… feel it?"

Logan was still half-bent forward, touching his Cheeks.

To others, it looked like he was lost in the softness of the kiss.

But in reality—

He was imrsed in the overwhelming power of nature he had just experienced.

"Huh? Oh…"

His delayed reaction caused everyone to misunderstand.

Even Sabrina, who had already shared intimate monts with him before, looked at him with a strange expression—

As if staring at a complete pervert.

Was kissing a little girl really that unforgettable?

Logan quickly noticed the awkward atmosphere.

Instead of explaining, he stood up and said calmly,

"…Yellow, what you gave is far too profound."

"It's impossible to fully master it instantly."

"I'm not like you."

"You were born in harmony with nature itself."

"Almost as if the Viridian Forest gave birth to you."

Hearing that, Yellow lowered her head in disappointnt.

After listening to Lance's earlier words, she had reached an understanding.

Then she had spent a long ti thinking about how to pass that power to Logan.

She had hoped it would make him even stronger.

But now it seed she had been wrong.

Logan gently grabbed her head and smiled.

"Hey, little one. Don't look so sad."

"Even though I can't master it instantly, the understanding is now engraved in my mind."

"I can definitely use it once."

"And once you can use it once, you gain experience."

"Eventually, I'll master it completely."

He raised his hand.

The ga Garchomp, which had been resting for a long ti, stepped forward.

Its massive body—more than ten ters long—looked like a monster from a fairy tale.

"Well, Garchomp?"

"After resting so long, can you unleash one final ultimate attack?"

Garchomp opened its mouth, revealing rows of terrifying teeth.

It nodded with a ferocious grin.

Lowering its body slightly, it allowed Logan to leap onto its back in a single motion.

"Then let's go."

"Show your most brilliant side."

"Bring this war to an end."

"And let Lance truly understand…"

"What despair feels like!"

"ROOOOOOOAR—!!!"

Garchomp let out a thunderous dragon roar.

With powerful legs and beating wings, it shot into the sky—

Charging straight toward Lugia and Zekrom.

"It's coming!"

High in the sky, Lance saw the ga Garchomp rushing toward him.

Grabbing every second to recover, he roared at Zekrom:

"Zekrom! Please!"

"Buy the final monts I need!"

"ROOOOOOOAR—!!!"

The pride of a Legendary Pokémon would not allow Zekrom to surrender so easily.

It squeezed out the last of its strength.

Its tail generator spun violently once more.

A massive storm of lightning erupted from its body.

At that mont—

Night finally ended.

The sun rose in the east.

Darkness retreated as dawn arrived.

The curtain of night fell away.

Magnificent sunlight illuminated the world.

Logan stood atop ga Garchomp, his Champion's Cloak fluttering violently in the rushing wind.

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

Sharing the deepest understanding within his soul with Garchomp—

He unleashed the Legendary Secret Art of Dragons.

Its na was—

"Ultimate Dragon: Heaven-Shaking Cataclysm!"
