ga Garchomp pierced through sky and earth with unstoppable montum.

Friction ignited blazing flas around its body, the roar of descent shaking heaven and land alike.

Dragonite, weaving through rivers of magma, sensed the overwhelming danger. It let out a shrill, desperate roar. In its massive dragon eyes, there was only that brilliant streak tearing across the sky.

A colossal fireball.

Within it—ga Garchomp's silhouette.

Dragonite instinctively raised its claws to block.

But before an attack capable of splitting the earth—

That defense was nothing more than a mantis trying to stop a chariot.

Two thousand ters—

One thousand—

Five hundred—

Dragon God Dive struck Cerise Island.

"BOOOOOOM—!!!"

The most earth-shattering impact since the battle began erupted.

The entire island trembled violently, as if the world itself were collapsing.

The crater cracked inch by inch.

Pressurized magma burst free, shooting skyward.

The world beca a sea of fla and searing airwaves.

The Dragon God Dive launched from ten thousand ters flattened the active volcano.

Shockwaves expanded in every direction, raising dust storms hundreds of ters high.

Moonlight and stars vanished beneath choking blackness.

It was as though a nuclear warhead had detonated—

The blast wave pushing outward, forcing back the surrounding seven islands and permanently altering the geography of the Cerise archipelago.

Lance's heart skipped.

He feared the terrain shift might ruin his ritual plans.

Fortunately—

Though the land changed, the island's function remained.

The ancient rite could still proceed.

"Zekrom!"

Logan's cataclysmic strike jolted Lance fully awake.

Dark clouds gathered above the volcanic ash.

Zekrom's tail spun at overload capacity.

Teravolt expanded outward, forming a boundless electromagnetic domain.

"—Bolt Strike!"

Zekrom's exclusive move.

The light of Ideals.

Countless lightning bolts converged within the rolling storm clouds, forming a massive, dimly glowing but thunderous column of power.

A lightning strike dozens of ters wide tore downward—

Following Garchomp into the depths of the earth.

ga Garchomp's Dragon God Dive had pierced through the island, nearly ending Dragonite's life upon impact.

Both dragons crashed into the underground magma river.

Logan looked around.

He and ga Garchomp were subrged in molten lava exceeding a thousand degrees.

Yet within this surreal inferno, Logan felt almost no heat.

ga Garchomp's force field protected him completely—absolute defense.

Then—

A violent energy surge ford overhead.

An indescribably massive lightning column split the earth, cleaving the magma lake in half.

Under its terrifying might, even lava evaporated.

"Garchomp!"

Logan shouted.

Lightning was too fast to outrun.

Unless evasion occurred before release—

No creature could outpace it.

And Garchomp, having just fallen from ten thousand ters, lacked the reaction speed to dodge.

"ROOOOOAR—!!!"

A dragon's roar shook the magma apart.

ga Garchomp curled slightly—

And charged directly into Bolt Strike.

"BOOM BOOM BOOM—!!!"

The once-roaring magma river was reduced nearly to charred stone.

The glow dimd.

ga Garchomp gasped, moving like a shark through the remaining lava before bursting out and landing near the ruined crater.

Molten tal dripped from its armored body.

White steam rose from its bone spikes.

Charred black marks covered its form.

It was clearly in bad shape.

Dragon God Dive from ten thousand ters had nearly destroyed Dragonite—

But even with ga Evolution, it was a move of mutual destruction.

Then ca Zekrom's full-force retaliation.

ga Garchomp's battle power was now less than thirty percent.

Yet compared to Logan—

Lance was worse off.

Dragonite was barely alive.

Lance imdiately recalled it upon landing.

He intended to use Viridian Power to heal—

But Logan would not allow it.

Using Viridian Power required concentration.

Against soone like Yellow, Lance could multitask.

Against Logan—

Impossible.

Lance's face darkened.

Zekrom, too, showed fatigue.

Even Legendary Pokémon could not spam their signature moves endlessly.

Still—

Aside from exhaustion, Zekrom bore almost no external injury.

"What a perfect dragon…"

Lance stared at ga Garchomp across a hundred ters of scorched earth.

"Incredible… Garchomp evolving again…"

Even as enemies, the Dragon Master could not withhold praise.

"Hmph. In this form, Garchomp can rival Zekrom."

Logan responded without hesitation.

"At full strength, yes," Lance replied coldly.

"But in its current state? It's heavily wounded. Surely you won't force it to continue."

Events had strayed from his expectations.

Dragonite's defeat ca too easily.

Without Zekrom—

He would already be finished.

Dragon counters dragon.

And ga Garchomp had reached a level comparable to legends.

When Dragon God Dive struck, Lance truly thought Dragonite would die.

That Dragonite was his first partner.

His most important companion.

"Even if our Ideals clash… even if we fight here on Cerise Island…"

Lance's voice rose.

"I will still praise you, my dear brother!"

"You are the pride of the Dragon Clan!"

"You showed the world the irresistible might of dragons!"

"You are truly one who commands dragon power!"

Yet as he spoke praise—

Zekrom spread its wings again.

Teravolt crackled.

Though Dragonite was down—

Lance still had multiple Pokémon remaining.

None as strong—

But all mbers of his Dragon Legion.

Yellow and Pikachu watched in terror from hiding.

The island lay nearly annihilated.

Logan and Lance's battle resembled the duels of ancient gods.

The colossal black Dragon of Ideals.

The armored ga Garchomp.

Monsters ruling the world.

The island lies broken.

Dragonite has fallen.

ga Garchomp stands wounded.

Zekrom crackles with lightning.

Two brothers—

Two Ideals—

One battlefield left standing.

The end draws closer.
