A low, suffocating roar thundered across the shore. The massive Gyarados, caught off guard by an aerial assault, was blasted backward by the fury of Dragon Rage. Its colossal body slamd through the surf, scales torn and shattered, leaving behind a trail of blood on the sand.

But the beast was far from defeated. After tumbling dozens of ters, the Gyarados arched its serpentine body and bellowed toward the heavens, as if the gashes and torn flesh were nothing more than scratches.

Logan stood atop Dragonair's head, his hands buried in his pockets, eyes calm and steady. He observed the creature as though analyzing a legend co to life.

"No wonder… A Gyarados born in the abyss of the deep sea, spending its lifeti battling countless powerful foes. Judging from its posture and the sheen of its scales, this one is old… perhaps even dethroned by younger, stronger Gyarados. Cast out, it now seeks its final glory here, at the shoreline."

The crowd scattered across the beach, their screams echoing, but their steps began to falter. Curiosity overca fear. More and more heads turned upward, unable to look away from the Dragonair gliding through the air, its master standing tall upon it.

"Isn't that… Logan? The dragon tar?" soone whispered, eyes wide.

Few trainers were recognized outside of tournants. But Logan was different—his reputation had spread through the networks, notorious both for his victories and… for his entanglents with won.

"You an that Logan—the one surrounded by girls?" another voice hissed.

Logan tilted his head slightly, a faint smirk tugging at his lips, as if he had heard them. Dragonair's elegant head turned with him, and though it was far more graceful than Gyarados' savage form, the intensity of a dragon's gaze still made the crowd recoil instinctively. Their bodies moved backward without thought, primal fear gnawing at them.

"Hmph. Boring little humans." Logan muttered. "Still… this Gyarados. I imagine Professor Oak would be very interested. An elder of its kind, a leader once driven from the deep… rare research material indeed."

Despite his cold words, Logan was not without loyalty. Oak had aided him many tis before, and when possible, Logan paid him back—through strength.

The Gyarados below had roared itself hoarse, but cunning lingered behind its savage eyes. It knew aerial battles were not its strength, its heavy body far too slow compared to true flying Pokémon. When its Intimidate failed to faze Dragonair, it abandoned the sky entirely, surging across the sands toward the helpless young girl it had failed to devour earlier.

"If you succeed, where would my pride be left?"

Logan's eyes sharpened. With a single order, Dragonair dove, crashing between Gyarados and the girl. Its horn, driven by gravity's pull, ramd into Gyarados' skull.

A shriek ripped through the shoreline. The beast thrashed violently, its massive coils whipping sand into towering clouds. Hidden behind the swirling veil, its tail lashed out, striking Dragonair hard.

Dragonair grunted, but endured. Logan bent low, scooping the terrified girl into his arms.

"Dragon Tail—send it flying!"

Dragonair's tail glowed, transforming into a shimring steel-like weapon. With a brutal strike, it carved a bloody gash along Gyarados' side and hurled the monster back into the sea.

Dragonair's sleek body shimred under the sun, every smooth curve armored in subtle scales. As a dragon Pokémon, it carried both elegance and impenetrable defense.

"You okay, kid?" Logan asked, holding Sophia steady with one arm, though his gaze never left the waves.

The girl clung to him tightly, trembling, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't even form words.

Logan exhaled. He had no ti to comfort her. Gyarados had reerged.

Its massive body curved, mouth agape. Energy began to swirl—countless sparks of light condensing into a devastating charge. Logan's eyes narrowed imdiately.

"Hyper Beam…"

Dragonair's throat rumbled in response, its mouth already gathering energy at Logan's command.

"If that's the case—Dragonair, Hyper Beam as well!"

Twin pillars of annihilation erupted. The collision lit the sky as if a sun had detonated at the shoreline. A shockwave blasted outward, a sphere of searing light devouring sand and sea alike.

The crowd scread as the blast hurled them into the air like rag dolls. Bodies tumbled down across the soft sand, so with broken bones, many with bruises. But none could look away—eyes widened in awe, locked on the battle of legends before them.

Logan stood unmoved atop Dragonair, as if the hurricane of destruction were nothing more than a breeze. Dragonair's protective aura shielded him from the chaos.

"Push it back!" Logan barked.

Dragonair roared, doubling its output. The beam surged, swelling until the very air seed to crackle. With one final burst, it overwheld Gyarados' attack, crashing into the sea serpent's chest.

The explosion was cataclysmic. Water boiled and sand erupted into the air. A crater the size of a stadium ford at the border of ocean and land, seawater rushing in to fill it.

From within the steam rose the Gyarados, scales charred, body trembling. Yet still, it roared, defiance burning in its bloodshot eyes.

Logan's lips curled faintly, almost wistful.

"If I'd t you in your youth, perhaps I would've taken you as my own, raised you into a true king of the seas…" He sighed, his voice tinged with regret. "But now… Jolteon, finish it. Thunder!"

The heavens themselves responded. Lightning split the sky, a blinding bolt tearing downward with the fury of gods.

The world turned white. The air rang with the echo of Gyarados' dying roar before silence claid it. Its body collapsed into the surf, motionless.

"Snap."

Logan flicked his fingers, a sharp sound echoing. Dragonair lifted its head high, releasing a victorious cry. The cyclones Gyarados had summoned unraveled instantly. The black clouds faded. Sunlight returned, washing over the beach as if nothing had happened.

Nothing—except for the bodies, the broken sand, and the smoldering corpse drifting in the tide.

In Logan's arms, Sophia stirred, her wide eyes staring at him in disbelief. He wielded destruction like a god, and with a single gesture restored peace. To her, he was no ordinary trainer—he was a legend, living and breathing before her eyes.
