"ga Evolution!"
Holding the hem of her wedding-like gown with both hands, she slowly descended from the air. Every movent was gentle and elegant, like a princess. But the sharp look in her eyes, along with the crown on her head, made her feel more like a queen.
For this battle, John decided to use Gardevoir.
Not to have Gardevoir fight either Dialga or Palkia individually, but rather, to have Gardevoir simultaneously challenge both Dialga and Palkia!
"Go, Gardevoir. This is your battle."
John and ga Gardevoir walked before Cyrus.
"Let’s begin," John said to Cyrus.
Cyrus’s gaze swept over the ga Gardevoir before John. "You intend to use only it to face my Dialga and Palkia?"
"Is there a problem with that?" John asked with a smile.
Cyrus frowned slightly, but then released his expression. "Arrogance is humanity’s greatest folly."
Cyrus raised his finger, pointing at John and ga Gardevoir, simultaneously commanding Dialga and Palkia: "Destroy them!"
Dialga and Palkia’s eyes imdiately flashed with crimson light, as though dangerous machines had been activated.
Both Legendary Pokemon opened their mouths and unleashed Hyper Beam!
John stood motionless. ga Gardevoir knew how to respond.
ga Gardevoir raised both hands, left and right, manifesting two mirror barriers.
BOOM!
Two beams brimming with terrifying destructive energy struck the mirror barriers ga Gardevoir had condensed, imdiately reflecting!
Two identical beams shot back from the mirror barriers toward Dialga and Palkia.
BOOM!
Two explosions rang out!
Both Dialga and Palkia were struck by their own attacks. The trendous power directly sent them tumbling backward.
What ga Gardevoir had just used was a move called Mirror Coat.
If ordinary Pokemon used normal Mirror Coat, they’d likely be blasted straight through, fundantally incapable of reflection. Even ga Gardevoir using it would at most barely block attacks from opponents at Dialga and Palkia’s level, still unable to reflect.
Blocking attacks, then strengthening and returning them?
But Mirror Coat targets energy attacks specifically!
As Arceus’s chosen Queen, ga Gardevoir manifested a domain uniquely belonging to itself!
Pink energy radiated outward with ga Gardevoir as the center. In an instant, all of Spear Pillar beca its "territory", everything entrusted with life force.
The situation beca so severe that Cyrus had to first deploy a Honchkrow to carry him away from Spear Pillar.
"Z-Move: Twinkle Tackle!"
Z-Crystal power transmitted from John’s body into ga Gardevoir!
Suddenly, continuous pink halos appeared across the darkened sky. A mont later, a shower of pink starlight rain descended!
However, this star shower wasn’t rely for visual effect.
This was a Z-Move activated using Moonblast.
As a Fairy-type move, Twinkle Tackle’s power dealt multiplied damage to Dragon-type Pokemon.
Dialga possessed Steel-typing, which wouldn’t create super-effective results, but the Water/Dragon-type, Palkia, wasn’t so fortunate.
ROAR!!
Palkia, who’d been blasted backward by its own Hyper Beam, released a roar. It imdiately condensed space to create a barrier blocking the surrounding terrifying move.
But a bizarre scene followed.
The barrier appearing on Palkia’s body flickered like a glitching TV screen, fundantally unable to block the sky full of star rain. Massive numbers of pink stars still struck Palkia, dealing devastating damage!
On the other side, Dialga encountered a similar situation.
It twisted the surrounding ti, attempting to send all the starlight heading toward it into the future. But it discovered that before the stars even fell into the ti distortion zone, they first vanished into thin air, then crossed over a thousand ters of distance, appearing from nowhere directly above Dialga’s head.
Because ga Gardevoir wielded powers different from theirs, the two Legendary Pokemon fundantally couldn’t counter it.
Whether Dialga or Palkia, one commanded only temporal power, the other only spatial force. Neither ca close to ga Gardevoir’s comprehensive mastery of both ti and space simultaneously!
Moreover, the crown atop ga Gardevoir’s head was forged from materials taken from their treasures twice over.
