John opened Aggron’s stats panel to carefully examine it.

[Ability: Heavy tal (Own body weight becos double normal)

-King’s Presence (All stats increased by 20%, Rock-type and Steel-type move power increased by 20%. Obtained special field "Gold King’s Domain")]

[Moves: Tackle, Harden, tal Claw, Rock Tomb, Roar, Headbutt, Protect, Rock Slide, Iron Head, Flash Cannon...]

[Held Item: Rusted Shield]

"Gold King’s Domain..." John stroked his chin, thinking about the strength of this king’s field.

Although this domain couldn’t change the weather like Tyranitar’s and Arcanine’s, the accompanying gravity effect that grew in range was still extrely terrifying.

The forr Noble Aggron lay within it.

John didn’t care whether Mai agreed or not, and directly took out a Pokeball to throw at it.

The Pokeball fell to the ground. In less than three seconds, the capture was complete.

Being able to beco a Noble Aggron, it was a fine breeding specin. He’d bring it back to the ranch as a stud. On the other hand, John was interested in its divine treasure.

With Rock and Steel types, Aggron feared Fighting-type and Ground-type the most. After all, under quadruple damage, even minor attacks could deal massive damage.

But if Fighting-type and Ground-type damage were both reduced by half, equivalent to just normal weakness, Aggron with its powerful defense might not fear these two types anymore.

John took the Rusted Shield from ga Aggron and then equipped the divine treasure King’s Crown.

The forr Noble Aggron’s divine treasure could also be considered material for condensing his own Aggron’s divine treasure later.

Just as he turned around, he found Mai still in shock, and directly walked past her.

Mai swallowed hard and hurriedly caught up. "Wait for !"

Sitting on Lugia’s back, flying toward Jubilife Village, just after takeoff, John noticed sothing was off.

The sky gradually darkened, as if entering evening, and a heavy rain seed imminent. But it was clearly only 9 AM, and just monts ago when Aggron was fighting, the weather was still bright and sunny.

The weather change was a bit strange.

"Gardevoir~" Gardevoir also issued a warning. She sensed strange traces of aura in the air.

"Which direction?" John asked.

Gardevoir pointed north.

North, that was Mt. Coronet.

Could it be...

"Go to Jubilife Village first." John decided.

Lugia descended at the entrance of Jubilife Village.

People around were all shocked by Lugia’s appearance. The environnt imdiately quieted down, allowing John’s voice to easily reach Akari’s ears.

Akari saw John and hurriedly ran over, explaining, "We received orders from the captain to imdiately go to Lake Verity in the Obsidian Fieldlands."

"The Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan are the sa, but they’re going to Lake Valor in the Crimson Mirelands and Lake Acuity in the Alabaster Icelands first."

"Do you want to co with us?"

Hearing the nas of the three lakes, Lake Verity, Lake Valor, and Lake Acuity, John imdiately understood the goal of Galaxy Team, Diamond Clan, and Pearl Clan.

The Lake Guardians.

Uxie, sprit, and Azelf!

Normally, they slept within Lake Verity, Lake Valor, and Lake Acuity.

However, John couldn’t figure out why the three major forces wanted to make a move against the Lake Guardians.

"What’s the reason?" John asked.

"The captain said strange phenona have been occurring at the three lakes recently. Pokemon near the lakes have beco restless, and so have even attacked people." Akari explained.

"He suspects it’s related to the Lake Guardians, so he wants each force to investigate their respective lakes."

John nodded slowly.

This matched the plot he rembered.

In the ga, Volo would manipulate events to awaken Dialga and Palkia.

And to control those two legendary Pokemon, he needed the power of the Lake Guardians.

"I’ll go." John made his decision.

If Volo was making his move, then the climax was approaching.

He needed to be there.

"Great!" Akari’s eyes lit up. With John along, she felt much more confident.

"Which lake are we going to?"

"Lake Verity, in the Obsidian Fieldlands." Akari answered.

"Then let’s go." John gestured.

Akari climbed onto Lugia’s back with Mai.

Lugia spread its wings and took off toward Lake Verity.

As they flew, John looked toward Mt. Coronet in the distance.

The peak was shrouded in dark clouds, with lightning occasionally flashing.

Sothing big was definitely happening there.

"Hurry." John urged Lugia.

They needed to reach Lake Verity quickly and secure sprit before Volo could make his move.

The final battle was approaching.
