Among the two commissions, John decided to tackle the first one first.
The destination: Dewford Island.
Lugia soared through the air, and upon landing, John’s first instinct was to head to the Pokemon Center for treatnt.
Then he circled Dewford Island with Gyarados as his surface mount.
The commission information ntioned that Team Rocket had appeared in the waters near Dewford Island, but the location wasn’t confird, so John could only search for it himself.
Going around Dewford Island was straightforward. Unlike reality, where walking around Dewford Island would take considerable ti and make it extrely easy for targets to hide, in the ga, Dewford Island’s terrain was as small as the palm of your hand. John could spot any target within a minute of walking around.
A Team Rocket mber, wearing black clothes with a big red "R" on his chest, was sneaking around Dewford Island, facing the wall like he was thinking about his mistakes.
John stepped forward to talk and imdiately triggered a battle.
But this was just a low-level Team Rocket grunt, very weak, with a level 30 Golbat and a level 32 Tentacruel that were easily defeated by John.
[Team Rocket mber: I’m outta here!]
The defeated Team Rocket mber fled imdiately, diving into the water right in front of John.
John imdiately followed with Dive to chase him down, and soon found a glowing passage. When he approached, a reminder appeared before him.
[Yes/No to enter the special dungeon "Code Na: Destruction" (disappears after clearing)]
[Dungeon recomnded entry level: 85]
"Another dungeon!" John raised his eyebrows.
Could the three commissions from the Hoenn Alliance correspond to three special dungeons? Would they also correspond to three Legendary Pokemon?
It was possible!
Dark Sea Mauville had given him a Lugia, so what kind of Legendary Pokemon would this dungeon provide?
However, the level of this dungeon called "Code Na: Destruction" was only 85, which was five levels lower than Dark Sea Mauville... If it contained a Legendary Pokemon, it would be sowhat disappointing.
With anticipation, John walked into the dungeon.
The light and shadow before him flashed.
John appeared in the dungeon, standing in a brightly lit hall with a deep pool behind him and a diving boat parked nearby.
He’d just co up from there.
"It’s a bit like a Team Aqua base," John comnted, if it wasn’t for the huge red "R" plastered in the middle.
It was Team Rocket! A wealthy evil organization indeed.
WOOOO WOOOO WOOOO!
John’s arrival imdiately triggered a rapid and piercing siren, red lights flashing to indicate an attack and incoming danger.
Standing in the hall, John could already hear hurried footsteps coming from all directions.
Presumably a group of Team Rocket grunts had started gathering when they heard the sirens.
"Gardevoir, scan this base," John said, taking out a Pokeball.
Gardevoir’s long dress floated to the ground as she simultaneously underwent GA evolution. Since John had obtained the three orbs, he was so energetic that he wanted to go 1v1 with legendary beasts. Compared to those trainers who never wasted energy on GA evolution unless necessary, John casually had his Pokemon undergo GA evolution.
To him, the physical strength required to maintain Pokemon GA evolution was only nine cents.
"Garde~ (Yes)" ga Gardevoir clasped her hands together, her psychic power spreading like a blanket. While investigating the surrounding terrain, she hypnotized all the Team Rocket mbers who were approaching the hall.
All of a sudden, the Team Rocket mbers heading to the lobby scattered.
One minute later, ga Gardevoir displayed a three-dinsional model in front of John.
The inside of Team Rocket’s base was massive, even larger than the Team Aqua base and Team Magma base.
"Looks like this should be Team Rocket’s headquarters in the Hoenn Region," John pondered thoughtfully.
Dewford Island was a remote place, located in the most southwestern part of the Hoenn Region, and it was also an island in the sea. It was indeed the best area for foreign evil organizations to establish their bases.
"Gardevoir! (Target locked)" ga Gardevoir reached out and pointed to a room deep in the laboratory, where two figures stood.
"Teleport," John said, going straight for the boss without hesitation.
When the scene before him turned from blurry to clear, John had traveled hundreds of ters to the room ga Gardevoir had indicated.
"Champion of the Hoenn Region?!"
When John arrived, the people in the room imdiately let out surprised exclamations.
John looked up at the two of them: a blue-haired young man in a custom-made Team Rocket Executive uniform, and a middle-aged man with purple hair, a goatee, and a stooped posture.
"If I’m not mistaken, you two should be Team Rocket’s four executives Archer and Proton!" John asked with a smile, never expecting to encounter two big fish in a Hoenn Region dungeon.
The youth was Archer, the middle-aged man was Proton.
There weren’t many famous executives in Team Rocket. John had read the manga and knew all about them.
Archer and Proton didn’t answer, their faces alert as they’d already released their Pokemon in advance.
A Houndoom beside Archer was glaring at John, ready to attack at any ti, while a Crobat circled overhead.
Surrounded by two Weezing, Proton was also extrely vigilant.
John didn’t pay attention to these four Pokemon, all around level 85.
"What brings you two to our Hoenn Region?"
Archer and Proton still didn’t answer. They looked at each other and imdiately attacked John.
"Weezing, Smokescreen!" Proton yelled.
Archer joined in. "Crobat, use Air Cutter!"
"Houndoom, Flare Blitz!"
The two Weezing spat out Haze, and the thick smoke fell to the ground, spreading to the surroundings like thick paste.
This was to block John’s sight and protect themselves and Archer with darkness.
Crobat attacked within the Haze. The invisible Air Cutter moved forward in the smoke with ripples, making the attack that couldn’t be observed with the naked eye even more stealthy.
"Woof!" Houndoom roared, rushing out of the Haze. Rainbow light collapsed as it broke away from the smoke, it had evolved into ga Houndoom, and in the next second, blazing flas burned around it.
Running and galloping like a speeding black chariot, it aid to directly ram John and ga Gardevoir to death.
Faced with such a scene, John just smiled and threw a Pokeball.
"Blaziken, High Jump Kick!"
