"So, how do I open this?" John touched the invisible barrier before him, deep in thought.

He had the treasure’s approximate location locked onto his detector, but being unable to reach it was incredibly frustrating.

"Maybe I should try using Aura power?" John mused. The power of the waveguide was universal after all, capable of "unlocking" many mysteries.

John attempted to channel his energy, but nothing happened. His Aura abilities, while improving, weren’t quite at that level yet. He gestured to Gardevoir, who was the most proficient with energy manipulation on his team.

Still nothing.

"I wonder if the Graves family has ever been here before?" John pondered aloud.

According to his teacher, the Avian Sanctuary had existed since ancient tis, no one knew exactly when it first appeared, but the Graves family had been its guardians for at least several hundred years.

As guardians, they must have discovered this special location long ago, even if the sanctuary only opened periodically. But whether they too had been blocked by this invisible wall was impossible to know. John hoped they had found a way inside.

Otherwise... he probably wouldn’t find an entry thod anyti soon.

A direct assault? John quickly dismissed the idea. If the Graves family knew about this place, and if this barrier was deliberately constructed to protect sothing extrely valuable, breaking it would likely earn him their eternal enmity.

"Gardevoir, use Confusion to scan the barrier in front of us and present the patterns through ntal projection," John commanded thoughtfully. He wanted to see the outline of the invisible barrier - maybe he could determine what lay within.

"Gardevoir~" Gardevoir agreed without hesitation, imdiately spreading her psychic energy.

The ntal power erupted from beneath her feet, rushing in all directions and spreading rapidly until it covered the entire range of the invisible barrier.

In just a few minutes, Gardevoir presented the patterns she had ntally scanned in John’s mind as a three-dinsional image.

What appeared before John looked like a massive do.

It was an enormous raised structure, its highest point reaching hundreds of ters above the ground. While he couldn’t distinguish fine details, he could definitely confirm sothing significant was contained within.

However, this scan wasn’t completely fruitless.

John had found a way to enter the do.

Because Gardevoir’s psychic overlay scanning was so precise, the presented pattern was remarkably clear, with every detail of the invisible barrier’s surface mapped out.

John could see there was a small gap in the sky, about 200 ters to his left and roughly 30 ters above ground level. The opening was just large enough for Pokemon the size of Pikachu or Pidgey to pass through freely.

The hole was rather small, but that wasn’t a major problem. As long as he could get inside, Gardevoir could Teleport him through!

"Gardevoir, let’s go take a look inside."

"Garde!" John’s figure flickered, and in the next second, he had passed through the invisible barrier and entered the do.

Solid ground stretched beneath his feet, surrounded by verdant forest that seed no different from outside the barrier.

But when John looked up, his breath caught.

Directly in front of him, re tens of ters away, stood a colossal tree made entirely of rock. It towered hundreds of ters high, its luxuriant branches and leaves spreading wide enough to cover over a thousand ters, blocking out the sky like a natural canopy.

"What... what is this?" John whispered, genuinely shocked.

Then he felt it, an incredibly powerful surge of energy.

Looking up, he watched light blue ripples rapidly spread upward and outward from the rock tree, like waves of pure light. The energy pulsed rhythmically, with waveguide power flowing from the rock tree’s branches and leaves like a crashing tide!

If John’s guess was correct, the Avian Sanctuary’s remarkably strong waveguide energy fluctuations ca from this very tree.

Could this rock tree actually generate Aura? What on earth was it?

He pulled out his treasure detector.

The device still pointed directly at the rock tree.

"Is the detector targeting the rock tree itself, or is there sothing hidden within it?" John used his flying-type energy manipulation to float upward, carefully examining the massive stone tree before him.

Treasure detectors could lock onto more than just items, they also responded to rare fruits and unique trees, anything that reached a certain threshold of value.

As he circled the tree in flight, John realized he’d seen many towering ancient trees in his travels, but compared to this rock colossus, those giants were re saplings!

Drawing closer for observation, John imdiately noticed the tree hosted a large population of Pokemon.

Families of Furret, Zigzagoon, Jumpluff, Geodude, and Shiftry lived harmoniously throughout the rock tree’s massive structure.

The tree wasn’t solid either, it was hollow inside with pathways, as evidenced by the constant stream of Pokemon erging and disappearing into various openings, wandering contentedly along its interior passages.

"Zhee zhee zhee!" A strange sound suddenly echoed - not quite like any Pokemon John recognized, but definitely indicating sothing had been activated.

BOOM!

A thunderous crash erupted in front of John.

A massive khaki-colored body, easily ten ters tall, dropped from the sky and landed before him with earth-shaking impact.

John instinctively looked up and saw seven beads glowing red light, arranged in an "H" pattern. The next second, the figure stood to its full height, revealing a rock body as impenetrable as a mountain fortress.

A rock body... with an "H" ford by seven beads.

After a mont of stunned recognition, John imdiately identified the Pokemon before him.

The Rock Pillar Pokemon, Regirock!

Before John could fully process why he was encountering the legendary Pokemon Regirock here, two more thunderous crashes echoed around him.

A body of crystalline ice appeared, seven beads glowing yellow light arranged in a " " pattern - the legendary Ice Pillar Pokemon Regice.

And finally, a form forged from solid steel materialized, seven brilliant red beads arranged in a hexagonal pattern across its tallic fra, the legendary Steel Pillar Pokemon Registeel.

All three appeared in succession.

"The original trio of Regi Pokemon are all here?" John’s eye twitched involuntarily.

What kind of incredible significance did this rock tree possess to warrant such guardians?

Wait!

John looked up at the massive rock tree, then down at the three legendary pillars standing before him.

A scene from an old Pokemon movie suddenly flashed through his mory.

He rembered now.
