(A/N: A huge shoutout to Andre Lucas, supporting the cause like a true legend! Bonus Chapter as thanks!)

"Hey, John," Harrison grinned with a cocky tilt of his head, "don't think you can win just because your ga Gardevoir has a type advantage. Getting close to Haxorus is like dancing with a chainsaw!"

John remained stoic. He hadn't underestimated Harrison, but Haxorus's reflexes were nothing short of miraculous—reacting to a Teleport surprise attack with the precision of a fighter pilot.

"Slash!" Harrison barked.

Haxorus lunged forward, its blood-red claws slicing through the air like a ballet of destruction. The white-cold light traced a diagonal arc that could have split atoms, let alone a Pokemon.

Without waiting for John's command, Gardevoir had already initiated Teleport, vanishing faster than a politician's promise.

The blade missed its mark, but the released energy cut through the battlefield's edge like an invisible razor. An Air Cutter by any other na would slice just as sharp.

John recognized the technique. It was the kind of move that separated hobbyist trainers from true masters—a strike so precise it turned a simple attack into a work of martial art.

Haxorus launched into the air with supernatural prediction, seemingly knowing exactly where ga Gardevoir would reappear.

"Does it have Future Sight?" John muttered, eyebrow raised.

"Nope," Harrison called out, reading his thoughts. "Just an insane fighting spirit. So Pokemon are born with instincts sharper than most trainers' strategy books."

As ga Gardevoir Teleported back, Haxorus was already waiting. A crimson pillar of fla—Flathrower at point-blank range—erupted like a dragon's breath.

ga Gardevoir materialized mid-air, deploying a Light Screen that deflected the attack with casual elegance. It was less a defensive move and more a dismissive wave, as if telling the flas, "Not today."

"Gym-level trainers don't just catch Pokemon," John realized. "They curate living weapons."

"Calm Mind," John commanded.

ga Gardevoir spread its arms, psychic energy swirling like a tornado of potential. It was ditation ets nuclear reactor—calm on the surface, apocalyptic underneath.

"Interrupt that zen!" Harrison shouted. "Destructive Beam!"

A white light erupted from Haxorus that could have been mistaken for a miniature sun. But it struck only air—ga Gardevoir Teleported milliseconds before impact, continuing its ntal preparation as if dodging were as natural as breathing.

"Moonblast!" John's next command rang out.

Pink energy rained from the sky—not a shower, but a deluge. Each droplet packed enough punch to make a legendary Pokemon think twice about a casual stroll.

Wide Guard blocked the initial assault, but John was playing a deeper ga.

When ga Gardevoir seemingly fell to Haxorus's Shadow Claw, Harrison thought he'd won. But John's strategy was a Russian nesting doll of tactical brilliance.

The "defeated" Gardevoir exploded into smoke, while hidden Moonblast attacks erupted from the ground. Even Haxorus's supernatural awareness couldn't dodge an attack it didn't see coming.

The battlefield transford into a pink supernova.

When the light faded, both Pokemon lay defeated—though John's tactical retreat ant technical victory.

Violet stepped forward. "Haxorus is unable to battle. Gardevoir wins!"

Harrison's jaw dropped. "I was showing off, and you turned into a cautionary tale. My ego is more bruised than a Psyduck after a bad day."

The battle wasn't just a contest. It was a masterclass in strategy, delivered with the subtlety of a lightning bolt.

"Impressive," Harrison muttered, a grudging respect replacing his earlier bravado. "Very impressive."
