Reading their comnts, Julian couldn’t help but feel speechless. If he really did appear in this broadcast, it would likely an things were taking a turn for the worse.
And so, after awakening, Regigigas had taken fewer than three steps before suddenly stopping—and it remained still for an entire day.
The whole world was now fixated on Regigigas. Across various live-streaming apps globally, the total viewership had undoubtedly exceeded 10 billion.
In Drakoria alone, over a billion people were tuning in.
By noon the next day, Regigigas—still silent and unmoved for a full day—began to stir again as the flashing frequency of its indicator lights quickened.
It repeated the sa movents as the day before, steadily trudging westward toward the coastline of Kampuchea.
The temple itself was located on the country’s western shore.
"One step, two steps, one step, two steps… It’s the devil’s walk—" Celebi even provided a fitting soundtrack from the sidelines.
Honestly, the background music was oddly appropriate.

Seeing so many people comnt on how slow Regigigas was moving, Julian suddenly recalled its ability—Slow Start, an infuriating ability similar to Slaking's Truant.
In the gas, Slow Start halved the Pokémon's Attack and Speed for the first five turns.
But this was reality, not a turn-based ga where you took turns attacking. Considering how Regigigas had abruptly stopped after walking for a while yesterday, Julian wondered if it was due to this very ability.
'Could it be that Regigigas stopped after a few steps yesterday because of Slow Start? And if it's moving again today, does that an the ability's restriction has lifted?'
Watching Regigigas's leisurely pace, Julian suspected the restriction hadn't fully worn off yet.
Sure enough, after walking a bit further, it stopped again. This ti, it had covered more distance than yesterday and was nearly at the coastline.
> "It stopped again… Is it going to wait another whole day?"
> "Where are the Pokémon researchers? Can soone explain this?"
> "It's heading west, so Kampuchea is probably safe now."

Kampuchea could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Regigigas wasn't moving inland but directly westward. The western coast was already the country's westernmost edge, so as long as Regigigas didn't turn back, Kampuchea would remain unhard.
The only loss was the temple, but since it had appeared alongside Regigigas, it wasn't technically a Kampuchea structure to begin with.
However, if Regigigas truly left, the site where the temple once stood would no longer attract hordes of tourists as it once did.
On the third, fourth, and fifth days, Regigigas continued its pattern—walking for a while before stopping each day.
By now, it had reached the ocean's surface. Many viewers assud it would descend into the depths and walk directly on the ocean floor, since from the looks of it, it probably could not swim—but instead, it simply stood atop the water.
On the sixth day, people worldwide were astonished to see Regigigas moving noticeably faster—at least twice as fast as the day before.
Moreover, it didn't stop after a short distance but continued striding across the waves, with the three Regis following closely behind.
Seeing this, Julian finally confird why Regigigas had stopped after walking a short distance each of the first five days before resuming the next day.
It really was due to its ability, Slow Start.
And it actually took a full five days for the limiting effects of Slow Start to completely wear off.
If you were fighting a First-class Legendary like this, who was always half a step behind, you’d likely defeat it long before the sixth day.
A First-class Legendary said to be capable of dragging continents—such a formidable being—yet it was held back by this one ability.
Pokémon abilities were generally ant to enhance their strength in so way. Even the "useless" Magikarp had the Swift Swim ability.
But as a First-class Legendary, instead of having so overpowered ability, it ended up with one that severely restricted itself.
"Perhaps its strength is simply too overwhelming, so this ability is ant to limit its power," Julian considered that possibility.
Then he thought of Slaking, whose base stats were almost on par with Groudon and Kyogre.
Pseudo-legendaries paled in comparison to its stats. Yet, such a powerful Pokémon had the Truant ability, which completely grounded it.
It drove Normal-type trainers crazy—without this ability, Normal-type trainers would undoubtedly rise to prominence. In fact, trainers of other types would have likely tried to get their hands on a Slaking too.
Slaking was a Normal-type, and Regigigas was also a Normal-type—the First-class Legendary of Normal-types.
The forr represented the pinnacle of ordinary Pokémon, while the latter represented the pinnacle of First-class Legendaries, yet one had Truant and the other Slow Start.
If this wasn't intentionally designed by so higher power, Julian truly wouldn't believe it.
Regigigas could tow a continent, and Julian even suspected its strength had already reached the Forbidden class. That might be why it needed the Slow Start ability to restrain itself; otherwise, most other First-class Legendaries wouldn’t stand a chance against it.
But after five days, the limitations of Regigigas’s Slow Start ability had finally worn off, allowing it to unleash its full power.
Looking at it this way, Slow Start seed slightly better than Truant… at least by a tiny margin.
