Julian greeted his mother's new colleagues. There were seven of them, all around forty or fifty years old.

Julian was famous worldwide, and Jake, as the Steel-type Elite, was also quite well-known in Drakoria. However, although Tina was a Senior Pokémon breeder, there were still quite a few Senior breeders in Drakoria.

After Julian beca a champion, his parents naturally gained so fa as well, but as the initial hype died down, most people forgot who Julian's mother was.

"So that’s why Teacher Tina’s na sounded familiar—you’re Champion Walker’s mother!" one teacher exclaid in sudden realization.

"Teacher Tina, I have a daughter who’s twenty this year. How about introducing her to Champion Walker?"

Tina, who had been looking quite pleased, stiffened slightly at those words. "Teacher, my son isn’t thinking about dating right now."

She had seen this teacher's daughter before—150 centiters tall and 150 kilograms heavy. From a distance, she looked like an indistinct blob; up close, she resembled a perfect cube.

This was her precious son, after all.

"Mom, let’s go."

Julian noticed more and more people gathering around because of Dragonite—the appeal of a pseudo-legendary Pokémon was undeniable.

And once people saw that the trainer beside Dragonite was Julian, even more ca rushing over.

"No rush."

Tina waved her hand—she hadn’t shown off enough yet.

Julian: 'Alright then, you’re my mom after all. Go ahead and keep flaunting your son. Should I put on so kind of live performance too while you’re at it?'

"This Dragonite is really well-developed."

One of the teachers, who was also a Pokémon breeder, couldn’t help but marvel as he looked at the massive dragon.

Ordinary Dragonite stood around 2.2 ters tall, and even exceptionally developed ones rarely exceeded three ters. But Julian’s Dragonite stood a full four ters tall.

Just standing there, it radiated a powerful sense of oppression.

That was why no one nearby dared to approach.

And its body was also remarkably stout, as evident from its bulging belly.

Despite Dragonite’s dopey appearance and reputation for being friendly—its friendliness only ant it bore no malice toward humans.

If a stranger dared to reach out and touch it, they’d likely get their hand slapped away.

That breeder couldn’t resist the urge to pet his "dream dragon." But just as he stretched out his hand, Dragonite shot him a sharp glare.

Fortunately, he quickly snapped back to his senses and apologized, "My apologies, Champion Walker. It’s just that your Dragonite is truly exceptional."

As a Pokémon breeder, he had seen many pseudo-legendary Pokémon and had even personally raised a Dragonite himself. That was why he understood just how outstanding Julian’s Dragonite was.

Its scales, coloration, the horns on its head, its claws, and antennae—all of it was incredibly captivating to him.

Even that belly, larger than most Dragonite's, was, in his eyes, a concentrated mass of pure energy.

"It's alright, Teacher. My son is very easy-going," Tina said on Julian's behalf before he could even respond.

"Mom, Love has probably almost finished making dinner."

Julian felt that if he stayed any longer, even the university president might show up. With no other choice, he brought out Love as his trump card.

"Well then Teachers, we'll be going now," Tina said, imdiately agreeing to head ho the mont she heard Love's na.

No matter if you were a top-ranked Elite or a Champion, once you ca ho, you obediently listened to Love. If it told you to drink Moomoo Milk, then you couldn’t drink soda.

"Son, don’t you also have a Moltres? Riding on Dragonite together feels a bit cramped."

Given Julian's Dragonite's size, even three people could sit on its back without feeling crowded.

But she was his mother—he had to indulge her.

"Moltres."

Julian released Moltres.

"Tres!"

A sharp, resonant cry echoed throughout Lake University.

Moltres initially thought it had been called for a battle, but when it looked down, it saw only a crowd of people, many of whom were taking photos.

'Photos!'

'Ti to put on a show.'

The flas around its body intensified, and sparks fell with each beat of its wings, making it look even more like a legendary bird of myth.

Julian waved Moltres over, and it swooped down to him.

"Carry my mom ho."

Moltres didn’t have a flying saddle installed on its back anymore—Julian had dismantled it not long ago, since it interfered with battles. Now, with so many people around, he couldn't exactly pull a flying saddle out of his system space without raising questions.

Moltres nodded, familiar with its role as the designated transport bird.

Since Tina was Julian's mother, Moltres had no reason to refuse.

Julian had tagross follow Moltres to create a protective barrier around his mother, ensuring she wouldn't be blown off by the wind. anwhile, he settled onto Dragonite's back, pulled out an ice-cold cola from his system space, and grinned.

'Hehe, since Love won't let drink this at ho, I'll just have one secretly outside.'

He downed the cola in one go. Seeing they were already over the suburbs, he rather irresponsibly tossed the empty can downward.

Bang!

It landed squarely on the head of a baby Diglett that had just poked its head out of the ground, making the poor thing burst into tears.

Julian remained unaware of the psychological trauma his cola can had inflicted on the newborn Diglett.

Before long, Julian and Tina returned ho.

"Son, how long are you planning to stay ho this ti?" Tina asked.

To be honest, Julian hadn’t really thought about it. Since he had no tasks for now, he could stay as long as he wanted.

"About half a month," he estimated.

There were seven days left before Jirachi fully awakened, and it would remain awake for seven days—so half a month in total.

"Then you co pick up from work again tomorrow."

Clearly, Tina hadn’t shown off enough yet.

Julian asked, puzzled, "Mom, why didn't you brag like this when I beca an Elite?"

Tina replied as if it were obvious, "What's there to brag about with becoming an Elite?"

Fair enough—being an Elite really wasn’t much to flaunt in the Walker family. With the family’s resources, even a pig could beco one.

His Uncle, Henry, might not have much talent as a trainer, but if he had wanted to pursue that path, he absolutely could have reached Elite tier—maybe even Pseudo-Champion, just by throwing enough resources at it.

He just preferred doing business instead.

Back ho, the mont they opened the door, the aroma of food imdiately greeted them. Love and Slowking, the two household chefs, had already finished cooking, while their little helper Magearna was carrying dishes out from the kitchen.

As they entered, they saw Jake already sitting on the sofa. Spotting Julian and Tina returning, he imdiately tossed out a Poké Ball, and a three-to-four-ter-long Magikarp began flopping around on the floor.

"Son, honey, look! The king of Magikarp I caught today—a full 3.8 ters long and over 200 pounds!" he exclaid, his tone excited, his face glowing, almost dripping with pride.

Today, one showed off her son, the other was flaunting his catch.

Julian: 'I'll just brag about the food.'

"Dee~"

Love narrowed its eyes as it watched the Magikarp dirty the floor it had just cleaned.

Jake: ⊙0⊙

Magikarp: 'I sense killing intent!!'

"Dad, you'd better clean the floor properly—urp—"

Just as Julian finished speaking, he let out a burp, and the sll of cola wafted directly into Love's face.

"Dee!"

Love fixed its gaze on Julian.

Julian: ⊙▃⊙
