"Alright, stop guessing, first, let introduce it—this is Magearna, a Steel-type Pokémon."
"A Steel-type Mythical Pokémon."
Julian added, deliberately emphasizing the last four words.
"A Steel-type Mythical?!"
Quinn was the first to shoot up from the couch, her face filled with shock as she stared intently at Magearna.
If it was rely a newly discovered Steel-type Pokémon, it would certainly hold research value, but it wouldn't be enough to make her lose her composure.
However, a Steel-type Mythical Pokémon was a different story entirely.
Reaching the level of a Mythical Pokémon ant it was no longer in the sa category as ordinary Pokémon.
"My goodness, another Steel-type Mythical Pokémon, worthy of being my dear grandson!"
John's face broke into a wide grin. Including ltal and Celebi, Julian now had three Mythical Pokémon—two of which were Steel-types.
Most trainers never even had a pseudo-legendary, let alone a Mythical Pokémon.
Even a Champion like John didn't own a single Mythical Pokémon, which showed just how difficult they were to obtain.
Now, his grandson had three. How could he not feel proud?
"Julian, you're incredible."
Henry praised, giving him a thumbs-up.
"But that's just secondary," Julian added calmly.
Secondary?
The three of them were taken aback.
A Steel-type Mythical Pokémon was only secondary?
Then what could possibly be the main event?
Did he capture a Steel-type First-class Legendary Pokémon?
They fell silent, simply staring at Julian, waiting for him to continue.
They could already tell—Julian was about to show off.
"Magearna is the only Steel-type Mythical Pokémon of its kind, but even that is secondary," Julian teased.
"Julian, if you don't get to the point right now, I'm going to be seriously angry."
Quinn threatened, glaring at him. She was clearly about to lose her patience. Had he forgotten not to ss with her just because she hadn't been ho much over the past few years?
"It's Steel-type Mythical Pokémon made by humans, and I’ve obtained the complete set of data needed to create Magearna."
Faced with Quinn's fiery glare, Julian knew better than to drag it out any longer.
He blurted out everything in one breath.
Julian: 'This flex didn't feel satisfying at all.'
John and Henry were stunned for a mont, thinking that they must have misheard.
A man-made Pokémon? A man-made Mythical Pokémon?
"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
As a Pokémon scholar, Quinn was looked shocked, then kept shaking her head.
"With current technology, there's no way to artificially create a Pokémon."
Julian looked at Quinn with a look that said, 'You haven’t seen everything yet.'
"Magearna, show them the Soul-Heart."
Magearna nodded and opened the compartnt on its chest. With a chanical click, a soft whirring sound filled the room. A mont later, a brilliant, erald-green orb appeared in its chest.
"Take a look at Magearna's body structure, this is not sothing a natural life form would have," Julian said.
Even Steel-type Pokémon, like tagross, Aggron, and Steelix, followed natural biological principles despite their tallic bodies.
But Magearna was different. Its body was clearly made up of distinct, interconnected chanical parts, giving it the appearance of a carefully assembled machine.
If it weren’t for the fact that removing the Soul-Heart would cause Magearna to shut down—and that rebooting it would erase its recent mories—Julian would have already taken the Soul-Heart out to demonstrate.
"Here are the complete schematics for building Magearna."
Julian said, pulling a book from his bag.
Quinn, now sowhat convinced by Julian's claim, stared at Magearna's body structure. The visible joints and chanical components were indeed far too intricate and precise for a naturally occurring Pokémon.
Her eyes then locked onto the book in Julian's hands. Without hesitation, she took it from him and sat down on the couch, eager to read.
For the average person, the text would have been incomprehensible—it was written in an ancient language.
But Quinn, as the youngest-ever recipient of the Arceus Award, was proficient in ancient languages. She could read it without much difficulty.
Julian left her to her reading and turned his attention back to John and Henry, who were now thoroughly inspecting Magearna.
"Julian, I think I understand why you called the three of us over," Henry said, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully.
"Magearna is a man-made Mythical Pokémon—and you’ve obtained the knowledge to create it."
"Are you planning for the Walker family to master this technology so that we can manufacture more Magearna in the future?"
"If we succeed, the Walker family could truly beco the most powerful family in Drakoria."
Henry added, his eyes practically gleaming with excitent.
As a businessman, he naturally pursued profit and expansion.
If the family could grasp the technology to create a Mythical Pokémon, their influence would skyrocket.
"That all depends on Aunty," Julian said with a grin.
Since Quinn was a Pokémon scholar, deciphering and fully understanding the schematics naturally fell to her. If she couldn’t figure it out, then it was unlikely any other Pokémon scholar could.
And even if she did crack the code, successfully replicating the process would be a whole other challenge.
"My good grandson, did you find Magearna and the schematics in the Ancient Kingdom Ruins?" John asked.
"Yes," Julian replied with a small nod, telling a half-truth.
After all, he had obtained Magearna by chance in Southlake City, and had ventured into the Ancient Kingdom Ruins to search for the Soul-Heart.
"The Drakorian governnt has sent teams into the ruins nearly a hundred tis. I even led the first few expeditions myself."
"They practically emptied the entire castle of anything valuable."
"And yet, despite all that, you still managed to find Magearna and its schematics?" John said with a wry smile.
The Drakorian governnt had indeed recovered so important treasures and information from the ruins.
But compared to Magearna and the technology to create it, everything they had previously obtained now seed trivial.
The most valuable treasure of the ruins had now fallen into Julian's hands—despite the site having been scoured nearly a hundred tis.
"Magearna was in the castle garden, and it had turned into a stone Poké Ball," Julian explained.
Though this was a lie, there were indeed two stone Poké Balls in the castle garden.
"I rember those. There were four of them at the ti, but they were so heavy that we only took two back for research."
"Later, when we discovered they were just ordinary rocks, we didn’t bother retrieving the remaining two."
As he continued talking, John's expression grew stranger. If Julian was telling the truth, then he had once brushed right past a Steel-type Mythical Pokémon without realizing it.
"Dad, you are really unlucky," Henry laughed.
Julian hadn't expected this revelation either.
anwhile, Quinn had been reading for over half an hour, finally closed the book. Although she hadn’t finished reading it, the awe and disbelief on her face were impossible to hide.
"This person nad Nikola… he's a genius. To think he ca up with such a thod to create the Soul-Heart."
"Such a crazy idea… and yet, he actually succeeded."
