Altaria's exceptional performance even earned Julian’s admiration.

Gabite also acknowledged its opponent’s strength. But as Altaria unleashed its Dragon Pulse, Gabite responded with one of its own.

One attack ca from the sky, the other from the ground. The two Dragon Pulse attacks clashed mid-air, but Altaria’s powerful move was completely overwheld by Gabite’s—obliterated without even putting up resistance.

Boom!!

Altaria was struck by the Dragon Pulse, and the sharp pain made it cry out in agony. Its body tumbled uncontrollably from the air.

"Slash!"

Gabite moved at lightning speed. Under Altaria’s despairing gaze, its sharp Slash glead like a streak of light, cutting through the air.

With a tearing sound, Gabite's attack struck Altaria head-on, sending it flying backward. The impact was so powerful that Altaria narrowly missed colliding with Bryon.

The huge force of the wind knocked Bryon off his feet.

Gabite: 'Not bad, but not good enough.'

Standing in the arena, Gabite watched as Altaria crashed hundreds of ters away. But it didn’t pursue, because the last hit was more than enough to decide the battle.

Bryon anxiously stood up and stared toward Altaria in the distance, hoping it would rise again. But a full minute passed, and the Pokémon remained motionless.

"I lost."

Bryon said with a gloomy face and was extrely frustrated.

He looked at Gabite, still unable to believe what had just happened.

'I spent so much effort raising my Altaria... and it was completely overpowered in just three moves.'

If Gabite had already evolved into Garchomp, he might have suspected it had surpassed the Elite level entirely.

Even after defeating Altaria, Gabite remained at Level 47, just one level away from its evolution at Level 48.

At this rate, even without battling, it would likely evolve within this month.

Gabite walked up to Julian, its expression unsatisfied. The battle wasn’t even a proper warm-up, and its opponent had fallen too quickly.

"Well done."

Julian patted Gabite’s head in praise.

But Gabite didn’t look the least bit pleased. 'With an opponent like that, if I couldn’t win, I wouldn’t deserve to be your Pokémon.'

Looking at Gabite’s proud and aloof expression, Julian couldn’t help but smile slightly.

All of his Pokémon had strong pride, though so hid it better than others. Gabite, however, was one of the few who wore his arrogance openly.

It was a proud guy by nature.

Just then Evelyn approached. She glanced at Gabite with a hint of amazent and remarked,

"My dear grandson, you’ve raised this Gabite exceptionally well."

"Grandma, I have a talent for breeding Pokémon too," Julian explained.

"Hmm, just like ," Evelyn replied.

Julian was montarily stunned before recalling that his grandmother wasn’t just a Peak Elite Trainer—she was also a Senior-level Breeder.

In fact, so Elite-level Trainers, if they had the ti and talent, often studied breeding techniques.

After all, a Trainer needed to understand their Pokémon’s physical developnt and ntal well-being, and that was a Breeder’s specialty.

Learning so breeding knowledge was a practical way to care for Pokémon better.

Of course, there were alternatives—one could regularly hire professional Breeders for ho visits or send Pokémon to a Breeding House.

Julian, though not a Breeder himself, had the system—far more advanced than even the best Breeder—so he never had to worry about his Pokémon’s physical or ntal health.

---

After Julian defeated his teacher’s Altaria with ease, Lance was completely dumbfounded.

He asked in disbelief, "How is your Gabite so strong?"

Gabite gave him an approving glance. 'Calling strong? This kid’s got good taste.'

"It's actually his opponent that was weak." Julian responded flatly.

Altaria had been raised well, but compared to Pokémon trained by truly talented Breeders, it still fell short.

Not to ntion—it was nowhere near Gabite’s level.

Lance had wanted to argue, but seeing the undeniable reality before him, he couldn’t say a word.

Altaria had been completely powerless against Gabite.

Thinking he should check on Mr. Bryon, he glanced around—only to realize his teacher was nowhere to be found.

'He must have slipped away already.'

---

"My dear grandson, let see your Pokémon. Ever since you started university, I haven’t had the chance to et them in person." Evelyn said.

The surrounding people also showed curious expressions.

They all knew what Pokémon Julian had, but only from videos.

If Gabite was this strong, then just how powerful would Julian’s main team be?

"Alright."

Julian nodded and released all his Pokémon—except for Celebi.

tagross, Lucario, ltal, Steelix, Dragonite, Aggron, Slowking, Arcanine, Gengar, Doublade, and, of course, Gabite.

If he counted Magearna in standby mode and Celebi, Julian now had 13 Pokémon in total.

A relatively small number.

Most children from noble families his age had at least twenty Pokémon—though in most cases, their families handled their training.

Now that Julian was an Elite Trainer (Early Stage), the number of Pokémon he owned was even smaller compared to others at his level.

For example, Bryon, also an Early Elite-level Trainer, had as many as thirty Pokémon.

Julian, however, only raised high-potential Pokémon—because with his Probing Eyes, he could instantly determine a Pokémon’s potential.

Of course, other Trainers could use machines to assess a Pokémon’s potential as well, but those machines had a flaw.

For example, two Pokémon might both be labeled as having Green-tier potential, but one could be just a step away from stepping into Cyan-tier, while the other had only barely reached Green.

Although they were both technically Green-tier, the difference in actual strength was significant.

A Pokémon that was on the verge of stepping into Cyan-tier might only need a single evolution to break through, requiring far fewer resources compared to one that had just reached Green.

Because of this, many Trainers focused on raising many Green-tier Pokémon—hoping that, with luck, they could evolve into Cyan-tier potential.

---

Eleven Pokémon stood in the training field—each one exceptional. Of course, most people’s eyes were locked onto tagross, with its shining silver body.

After all, tagross was the Walker family’s symbol and also Julian’s strongest Pokémon, bar none.

The second most eye-catching was Aggron, a Totem Pokémon. Standing at over six ters tall, it looked like a towering steel behemoth.

The third was Julian’s White Gengar. Its snow-white body and blood-red eyes gave it an eerie yet undeniably cool presence.

Surprisingly, Dragonite, an Elite-level powerhouse, wasn’t in the top four.

That was because in fourth place stood ltal—a Mythical Steel-type Pokémon, sothing few people ever had the chance to see.

Only then did people turn their attention to Dragonite, ranking it fifth among Julian’s Pokémon.
