Celebi and ltal are both Mythical Pokémon, but there was a significant difference between them. The difference lies in whether they possess a unique ability.
Among the Steel-type Pokémon, ltal is recognized as a Mythical Pokémon, but it doesn’t have an exclusive ability of its own. Among Mythical Pokémon, it is considered quite ordinary, without any particularly distinguishing features.
Celebi, on the other hand, is different. While it is not known for its combat power, everyone familiar with it knows that Celebi has the ability to travel through ti.
It can traverse from the present to the past, and if it wishes, it can choose to live in a specific period of ti.
This is its unique ability—sothing ltal does not have.
Other Mythical Pokémon with special abilities include Jirachi, Hoopa, w, etc. Among all Mythical Pokémon, those with their own special abilities are considered the most unique.
If you were presented with a Celebi and a ltal and had to choose one, anyone who truly understands Mythical Pokémon would undoubtedly pick Celebi, which possesses the ability to travel through ti.
Although ltal is powerful, it lacks a unique ability and can essentially be considered a different type of "pseudo-legendary."
Of course, Julian didn’t an to look down on ltal—this was simply the reality of the situation.
"Why have I visited your place so many tis and never seen Celebi?"
Upon seeing Celebi, Nicole montarily forgot her worries about her grandfather and instead looked at Julian with dissatisfaction and curiosity.
'Does this girl have a problem with her brain? If she didn’t see it, what else could it an? Obviously, I hid it.'
"Celebi was on the second floor, you just never went up," Julian replied.
Any Pokémon scholar would be thrilled to see a Celebi. If the situation weren’t so special right now, Julian wouldn’t have let Celebi be exposed at all.
Fortunately, not many people knew about it yet.
"Then you could have called it down."
Nicole clearly didn't believe Julian's nonsense, and looked at him angrily.
It was Celebi! A real Celebi! She had been to Julian’s house so many tis and had never even noticed it.
"It said you're ugly and didn’t want to see you," Julian replied calmly.
Without hesitation, he threw Celebi under the bus.
If the situation weren’t so serious, Nicole might have bitten Julian on the spot. What kind of response was that? She was one of the top ten campus belles of Imperial University!
"My dear grandson, is this how you court girls?"
John gave Julian a strange look and whispered in his ear.
"Grandpa, I'm not pursuing her, won will only distract from reaching greater heights."
Julian turned to look at John, wondering if his grandfather had misunderstood sothing.
"Good grandson, the highest state for a man is to marry a wife and have children."
Patting Julian's shoulder, he seed to have thought of sothing, and his tone carried a hint of lancholy.
"I'm planning to visit Grandma in a while, do you want to co?" Julian asked.
His grandmother was alive and well, so there was no need to overthink. The reason she had never appeared was simply that she and John had divorced a long ti ago.
As for why, Julian had never been able to get an answer from either his grandfather or father so far.
"What's so great about seeing that old woman? Count out."
John imdiately shook his head. For once, his expression showed hesitation, which was quite a sight for Julian.
"I'll be sure to pass your exact words on to Grandma," Julian said flatly.
John's body stiffened, his expression turning unnatural, but he still kept his tough stance. "Then you better not forget."
"There’s going to be so commotion when you go, so I'll give her a heads-up."
"Mm."
While the grandfather and grandson were talking, Celebi had already flown to Duke's side.
It seed the healing was about to begin, so everyone turned their attention to Celebi. Nicole, in particular, was staring intently, her phone in hand—perhaps finally rembering her actual profession.
"You can study it yourself, but don’t spread the footage," Julian warned.
But Nicole didn’t even turn her head, her eyes locked onto Celebi with an intense gaze.
At this mont, maybe even her grandfather’s life or death wasn't as important as Celebi.
Duke: (◎…O)
Celebi hovered above Duke, murmuring softly as if chanting so kind of spell.
John and Nicole couldn't understand a word.
But Julian could, and his face darkened imdiately.
Celebi: "My existence surpasses all things."
"I am not the ruler of the sky, yet the blood in my veins refuses to bow."
"This street belongs to ."
"Grip your sword tightly, young one."
Julian: 'What the hell is this thing talking about? Has it been brainwashed by ani!'
Holding his forehead, Julian looked utterly pained.
'Just let the world end already, I'm exhausted.'
Cringeworthy as its words were, Celebi was indeed casting a "spell."
At Parkway Hospital in Orient City, every plant—be it a small office potted plant or the large trees lining the streets—began to glow with faint green light.
And this effect was spreading rapidly, expanding towards the entire Orient city with Parkway Hospital as the center.
Potted plants at ho, trees on the sides of the road, grass in the parks, forests, aquatic plants in rivers, vegetable gardens, orchards, and weeds—all green life began emitting tiny, sesa-sized specks of green light.
These green lights seed to be drawn by an invisible force, rising into the air and flowing toward the direction of Parkway Hospital.
Nearly everyone in Orient City witnessed this phenonon. So reached out, trying to grasp the glowing particles, but the lights simply passed through their hands.
Countless streams of green light flowed from all directions, converging toward Parkway Hospital.
So strears doing live stream quickly pointed their caras at the glowing spectacle.
“What is this? So kind of special effect?”
“Strear, this special effect is insane!”
“It’s not a special effect, I’m in Orient City right now, and the whole place is filled with these green lights.”
“This is crazy! My money plant just let out two little green lights from its leaves, and they floated away!”
“Strear, hurry to Parkway Hospital! My friend says all these green lights are gathering there!”
A phenonon of this scale was no accident. Sothing extraordinary was definitely behind it.
Many trainers in Orient City quickly realized that this was most likely the work of a Pokémon.
With that thought, they imdiately rushed toward Parkway Hospital.
At the sa ti, a massive crowd of civilians also began making their way there.
Inside the hospital—the very center of this event—the dical staff were naturally curious. However, they had already received prior instructions.
'Do not panic. Do not be afraid. Continue your work as usual.'
"My dear grandson, this is the ‘small commotion’ you ntioned?”
John stood by the window, looking at the massive green river of energy ford from the life essence of every plant in Orient City, and couldn't help being a little speechless.
Faced with his grandfather's question, Julian didn't know what to say. In fact, he hadn’t expected Celebi to go this overboard either.
Had he known, he might’ve just spent ten thousand points to buy an antidote himself.
Now the entire city was in an uproar. There was no hiding the fact that a Pokémon was behind all of this—especially from those paying close attention.
