Ten years had passed since the War of the Gods.

And during those ten years, Julian had rarely appeared in the public eye.

However, Celebi, Jirachi, and little Hoopa—the new trio—still visited Old Ken's place every Thursday to freeload without fail.

Occasionally, Julian would tag along, so during those times, Old Ken's restaurant was always packed with customers.

But it never got pletely overcrowded, because as soon as all the seats were filled, the owner would stop letting new customers in.

After all, if it were bursting at the seams, with everyone squeezed shoulder to shoulder, how could anyone properly watch Julian?

Over these ten years, things hadn't actually changed all that much.

Nations around the world were all developing steadily—though Drakoria was, of course, in a league of its own now.

Celestria and Volkaria were battling it out for second place. And not long ago, the two sides had even clashed in a rather significant conflict, each losing a Champion and a Pseudo-Champion trainer.

And the one thing that hadn't changed in these ten years was Julian's relationship status: he was still single.

He was already in his forties, yet he still hadn't gotten married.

Even if his appearance hadn't changed in the slightest, he still ought to get married, shouldn't he? The Walker family's bloodline had to be carried on.

John and Jake, however, took the matter quite calmly.

Ever since obtaining eternal life, Julian had gradually lost interest in marriage and having children.

His own life was infinite.

So even if he married and had children, and even if, with his help, his wife and children's lifespans could be greatly extended...

Their lives would never be truly infinite.

One day, they would still die.

And Julian didn't want to experience that kind of pain.

What he wanted to do now was simply extend the lifespans of his current family members.

After all, if one day all of those closest to him passed away... Perhaps the Walker family would no longer feel like his home.

Though, the one who had changed the most was Jade.

Ten years was enough for a child of seven or eight to grow into a graceful, elegant young woman.

But unlike Julian—who only revealed his identity as the Walker family heir to the world after being a registered trainer—

Jade, from the very moment she was born, had been recognized by the entire nation as the little princess of the Walkers, and the little princess of the nation.

The whole country had watched her grow up.

Moreover, Jade frequently appeared in the TikTok videos of Julian, Celebi, Jirachi, and Hoopa.

Today was the finals of the 56th Silver High School League's Individual Championship.

The Trainer representing the red side was Leon, who came from an ordinary family.

And representing the blue side was Jade.

Because of Jade's participation, this year's Silver High School League attracted an enormous number of spectators. The number of people watching the livestream was even more astonishing.

And the vast majority of the audience at the venue was cheering for Jade.

> "Little Princess, you're the best!"

> "Leon, just surrender already!"

> "Go, Jade!"

> "The world's second-best trainer, Jade!"

"The world's second-best trainer" had actually bee a running joke, as Jade had set her goal to bee the world's second-best trainer.

Since Julian was number one, and she wanted to let her older brother keep that honor, she had once declared during one of Julian's livestreams that her goal was to bee the world's second best Trainer.

"Little Princess, please go easy on me when the time es."

Leon was tall and handsome. And ing from an ordinary background, he had fought his way all to the finals of the individual petition, adding an extra touch of legend to his story.

His tone was gentle, and despite Jade being his opponent, he showed no trace of flattery.

'Name Leon... moner background... extremely talented... This guy couldn't be the Child of Destiny brother once told me about, could he?'

When Jade was little, Julian had told her all sorts of random things. Originally meant just to tease her for fun, but Jade had taken all those words to heart.

She clearly remembered Julian saying that if one could defeat or even kill a Child of Destiny, then the destiny originally belonging to that person would be devoured by oneself, thereby strengthening one's own fortune.

Julian had even mentioned that back at Imperial University, he had taken down a moner genius named Alex in a Secret Realm and obtained his first World-class treasure from him.

Jade remembered that story perfectly.

Although she absolutely wasn't lacking in World-class treasures now, all of those treasures had been given to her by her brother.

So she also wanted to obtain a World-class treasure with her own hands and give it to him.

Thinking of that, Jade's gaze toward Leon couldn't help but grow a little heated, as if she were looking at a walking treasure vault.

Leon mistakenly believed that Jade was captivated by his good looks and felt immensely pleased with himself, though his facial expression remained unchanged.

"Metang!"

Jade sent out her Pokémon.

"Jade's Metang evolved from a Beldum that actually split off from Champion Walker's very own Metagross. And throughout the individual petition, Metang has taken out every opponent with a single move!"

The mentator spoke from the announcer's booth, a trace of nostalgia appearing on his face.

"You know, back when Champion Walker peted in the Silver High School League's Individual Championship, I was the mentator then as well."

Jade's starting point had been extraordinarily high.

Her starter Pokémon, Beldum, had actually split off from Julian's own Metagross.

And although Metagross possessed Gold-grade Potential, the Beldum it split off didn't inherit that—instead, it had Purple-grade Potential.

That had surprised Julian quite a bit.

After all, Pokémon that reproduced through division were supposed to inherit their parent's Potential perfectly.

Perhaps it was because Metagross had already bee a First-class Legendary, and the potential of a First-class Legendary simply couldn't be passed down through division.

That was the only explanation Julian could e up with.

Thirty years later.

A Ruin appeared in the southern part of Drakoria.

Normally this wouldn't have been a big deal, but the emergence of this particular Ruin stirred Julian into action.

Riding on Reshiram, Julian rushed to the entrance of the Ruin at the very first moment.

He went in quickly and came out just as fast.

"So that's what happens after gathering all the Unown... they actually unlock an ability like this."

Julian sat atop Reshiram's back, murmuring to himself, yet the joy on his face was impossible to conceal.

Fifty years later.

Jade had already bee a Peak Champion-level Trainer.

And with Julian's help, she had also gained Rayquaza's acknowledgment, allowing her to mand Rayquaza for twenty minutes without suffering any side effects.

Now, standing before a massive golden gate, Julian was acpanied by Metagross, Aggron, Dragonite, Lucario, Melmetal, Steelix, Arcanine, Gengar, Kartana, Salamence, Slowking, Magearna, three Tyranitars, Kingambit, Garchomp, Aegislash, Moltres, Milotic, Archaludon, Zeraora, Celebi, Jirachi, Hoopa, Lunala, Deoxys, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, and Mewtwo.

"New world... here I e."

With those words, Julian stepped through the gate together with all of his Pokémon onto a brand-new journey.

Julian: "Well, well, you finally showed up, Ashy-boy."
