Real Battle
A young couple sat in the Poke-Park, basking in the warm sunlight filtering through the trees. The boy, no older than 18, had his head resting on the girl's thighs, his eyes closed in bliss. The girl, a bit younger, gently stroked his hair, her fingers running through his tousled locks. As people strolled by, they couldn't help but sneak a peek at the boy's handso face, his relaxed expression a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the park.
Of course, that boy was , comfortably sprawled across Misty's soft thighs. I let out a contented sigh, feeling the warmth of her skin seep into my bones.
Misty's voice broke the tranquility, her tone exasperated. "Gosh, how long are you gonna lay like that?"
I opened one eye, peering up at her. "As long as you let ."
Misty raised an eyebrow. "When you said you wanted to try sothing out, this wasn't what I expected."
I grinned lazily. "I'd seen a lot of human males and females laying like this, so I was just curious why they do it."
Misty's gaze rolled. "So, did you find your answer?"
I turned my body around, burying my face in her thighs. Misty squird, her hands instinctively reaching for my head. "Yeah! This is the best thing I've had the pleasure of laying my head on."
Except Delia's boobies, I silently added, a ntal chuckle escaping .
Misty's face flushed, "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
I didn't respond, too busy savoring the warmth and comfort of my current position.
But hell yeah, I am.
I lifted my head from Misty's thighs, a thoughtful expression on my face. "So, you were telling earlier about Ash?"
Misty's face lit up, and she nodded. "Ah, yeah! Apparently, Nurse Joy forgot to tell him that he can't challenge the Viridian Gym Leader until he gets seven badges. He went to Pewter City this morning."
Her expression suddenly darkened, her voice rising in anger. "And he didn't even repair my cycle! Just left it like that!"
I reached out, patting her back in a soothing motion. "It was just a cycle, don't get angry." I added with a sly grin, "Well, then again, you look cute when angry."
Misty's eyes narrowed, and she playfully slapped the back of my head. "Keep your flirting to yourself, mister. You're not getting anything out of with those."
I chuckled, unfazed. "I did get a lap pillow, so that must count."
Misty let out a defeated sigh, shaking her head. "So, what do you want to do now?"
I sat up, a mischievous glint in my eye. "Hmm, first of all, how about you battle ?"
Misty's brow furrowed. "Battle? As in Pokémon battle?"
I nodded, my grin growing wider. "Correct. Is there any other type of battle also?"
For a fleeting mont, a stray thought crossed Misty's mind - a battle of a different kind, one that was fought on a bed, with tangled sheets and heavy breathing. She shook her head, banishing the inappropriate thought from her mind.
Misty's face flushed slightly, and she stamred, "N-No."
I stood up, stretching my arms overhead and arching my back in a languid stretch. "I want to check my skills a bit, so don't hold back."
Misty's eyes narrowed, her hands on her hips. "You sure? Even if I'm not the best trainer, I've trained my Pokémon for quite so ti."
I raised an eyebrow, my expression skeptical. "Oh, really?"
Misty's face hardened, her determination evident. "Yes, really. I've worked hard with my Pokémon, and they're not to be underestimated."
I chuckled, a mischievous glint in my eye. "So, wanna bet?"
Misty's face was still riled up, her competitive spirit piqued. "Sure!"
I grinned, my eyes sparkling with excitent. "If you can't defeat , you have to do one thing I say."
Misty's expression faltered for a mont, hesitation creeping into her eyes. But her determination quickly recovered. "And if I do?"
I took a step closer to her, my voice taking on a suggestive yet innocent tone. "You can catch with your Poké Ball... I'm yours to do as you please... whatever you want to do."
Misty's cheeks flushed, her eyes darting away from mine for a brief mont. But she quickly regained her composure, her voice firm. "A-Alright, let's do this."
We walked through the Poke-Park, avoiding the crowds of people and Pokémon. The sun was still high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the surroundings. Misty led the way, her eyes scanning the area as if searching for the perfect spot.
After a few minutes of walking, she stopped at a small clearing surrounded by a cluster of trees. The area was peaceful, with only the sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the breeze.
"Here's good," Misty said, turning to face . "No one will bother us here."
I nodded, surveying the area. It was perfect for a battle. I could sense the electricity in the air, the anticipation building up inside .
I walked about 10 ters away from Misty, my eyes never leaving hers. Then, I turned back to face her, a grin spreading across my face.
"Let's start then!" I exclaid; my voice full of excitent.
Misty's hand dipped into her pocket, pulling out a small, ping-pong-sized ball that suddenly enlarged to a normal-sized Poké Ball. She threw it onto the ground, the ball bursting open with a bright light.
"Go, Staryu!" Misty called out, her voice firm and commanding.
The light coalesced into a shimring, star-shaped Pokémon, its body glowing with a soft, blue light. Staryu's gaze fixed on , its eyes sparkling with a quiet intensity.
As soon as Staryu erged from the Poké Ball, the ball suddenly shot back into Misty's hand, as if pulled by an invisible force. It was a smooth, seamless motion, like a reflex.
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by this phenonon. Apparently, Poké Balls returned to their owner's hand after the Pokémon was released. How quaint.
It was as if the ball was being pulled back by telekinesis. I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at this peculiar aspect of the Pokémon world.
Misty, on the other hand, didn't show any surprise at all. For her, it was just a normal part of life in the Pokémon universe. She simply pocketed the ball.
I watched as Misty pocketed the Poké Ball, her eyes fixed on with bated breath. I raised an eyebrow, confusion etched on my face. "Uh, aren't you going to start?"
Misty's eyebrow shot up, her gaze flicking to my still-human form. "You going to fight like that?"
I shrugged, nonchalant. "Why not? Let's try it out."
Misty's expression turned skeptical, her voice laced with a hint of amusent - no, wait, excitent. "Alright, Staryu, use Water Gun... and, uh, don't use full force."
I waited for the attack, intending to dodge it with ease. But when Staryu released the water flow, I was caught off guard. It was way too fast, and before I could react, I was drenched from head to toe. I stood there, water dripping from my hair, my clothes clinging to my body.
Misty burst out laughing, her eyes sparkling with mirth.
"Finally got a bath huh?" Misty asked teasingly.
I shot her a dry look, but couldn't help the smirk that crept onto my face.
I took a deep breath, my muscles tensing as I prepared for my turn. "My turn."
My legs puffed up, my muscles bulging as I rushed toward Staryu with incredible speed. I bent my body, ready to tackle the star-shaped Pokémon. But Misty was quick to react, shouting "Dodge!"
Staryu rolled sideways, its circular body moving with an eerie smoothness. I passed by it, my right leg turning back into its sli form and sticking to the ground.
The rest of my body rotated on it like a pivot, my left hand shooting forward with a loud whoosh.
My muscles had puffed up to an unnatural degree, as if soone had injected with a bucket of steroids. My hand t Staryu's back with a loud thud, the impact sending it stumbling forward. My hand recoiled a bit, the force of the strike still resonating through my arm.
Damn it, that hurts. Note to myself, find a way to deactivate the pain nerves in the body during fight or at least tone down the sensitivity.
I stood up, my chest heaving, my eyes locked on Staryu as it struggled to regain its balance.
I grinned, a triumphant smirk still plastered on my face as I gazed at Misty's stunned expression. "What, didn't expect that?"
Misty's eyes were wide, her mouth agape as she stared at like I'd grown a second head. "What... how did you...?"
I chuckled, shrugging my shoulders. "Just a little trick I learned."
But Misty didn't have ti to dwell on it, her training instincts kicking in as she quickly assessed the situation. "Staryu, use Confuse Ray and get so distance!"
Staryu sprang into action, jumping away from with an eerie fluidity. As it landed, its large crystal core began to glow, and a blue ray shot forward, enveloping in its warm, fuzzy light.
I felt my senses start to blur, my thoughts muddling together like a jumbled ss. My vision began to spin, the world around becoming a swirling vortex of colors and shapes.
I stumbled forward, my legs wobbly as I tried to take a step. But which direction was I going? Everything seed to be shifting, like the whole world was tilting on its axis.
I raised my hands, trying to grab onto sothing, anything, to steady myself. But my fingers closed on empty air, and I stumbled again, my body swaying like a drunkard.
As the Confuse Ray's effects continued to wreak havoc on my senses, I gritted my teeth and forced myself to focus on the brown, star-shaped Pokémon in the distance. My vision was still blurry, but I managed to lock onto Staryu's image, my mind fixating on its distinctive shape.
With a surge of determination, I let out a ntal shout, my human body lting back down into its pink sli form. The transformation was rapid, the sli swirling and churning as it reshaped itself into... Staryu.
The unfamiliar body, yet sohow, it felt... right. The born instincts of Staryu took over, making it surprisingly comfortable to use. I marveled at how different the degree of familiarity was in each Pokémon form I took on. It was as if each one had its own unique personality, waiting to be discovered.
The good thing was, the Confuse Ray's effects were gone, and my senses were back to normal. Everything I saw was filtered through the red crystal on the center of my body, giving it a slight red tint. Not too bad, really.
Staryu, or rather, the original Staryu, seed to be shocked by my transformation. But then again, it could be just my imagination. There wasn't much on our bodies that displayed emotion, after all.
Just as I was getting comfortable, Misty shouted, "Use Water Gun!" As if I would allow that. Sparks started appearing on my body, their intensity rapidly increasing. I recalled that Staryu could learn Thunderbolt, and I tried to replicate the sensation I felt when I used it yesterday in Pikachu's form.
My opponent's Water Gun was just about to be released when the yellow bolt of pure electricity struck it. The impact was massive, raising dust and covering the field. For a mont, I was blinded by the explosion.
anwhile, in a split second, the yellow color was changing to blue, and I had an ominous premonition. I stopped channeling the energy, feeling a shiver run down my... spine? Did Staryu have a spine?
The rogue bolts of lightning died out rapidly.
When the dust cleared, and I was left staring at Staryu, which was now lying in a crater, unconscious.
What. The. Actual. Fuck.
Is Thunderbolt supposed to be this destructive?!
It was the sa phenonon that happened yesterday at Pokémon Center. I had attributed it to the bad weather or whatever eye thingy that was leering at . Was that wrong?
I stared at the crater, my mind reeling from the sheer power of Thunderbolt. If this was going to happen every ti, I use thunderbolt or maybe even any electric-based attacks, this was sothing I needed to research about.
Misty's eyes were wide with shock as she gazed at the aftermath of the attack.
"Staryu!" she whispered, rushing towards the crater.
I felt a pang of guilt. I lted down to Ditto form, before again transforming into Human form and moving toward her.

Author's Note: So I had made a mistake in earlier chapters. The nearest city to Pallet Town was Viridian, not Pewter City. I had honestly forgotten about that as it's been years since I watched the original series.
I am correction the mistakes in past chapters, but I hope you won't mind the stray ones I might miss.
