The Pokémon Exchange Festival, as the na suggested, was an event where trainers could trade Pokémon with each other.

After all, so trainers were dissatisfied with their current Pokémon, or simply preferred others.

If two trainers could reach a mutual agreent, they could swap their Pokémon, this was one of the rare League-sanctioned Pokémon trading events.

On the wide streets, nurous stalls had been set up. Events organized by official authorities always attracted many trainers.

Besides Luna at Sieg's side, many other male and female trainers were present, searching for their ideal Pokémon.

Without exception, they had released the Pokémon they wanted to trade, allowing interested parties to browse.

Quite a few people wandered around, seeking suitable partners or appealing Pokémon, calling out loudly. The entire town of Fallarbor Town appeared exceptionally lively.

In reality, however, most of these people couldn't even be called proper trainers, they didn't have a single Pokémon above level 20.

The vast majority treated this as a hobby rather than a profession. The most common were Bug Catchers and Youngsters.

Luna looked at the event with fresh curiosity. She rarely witnessed such bustling scenes.

"Umbre~"

Umbreon and Glaceon walked side by side behind their respective trainers. Wherever the pair and their two Pokémon passed, no one made trade requests.

After all, even fools knew that trades were based on roughly equivalent conditions.

Trying to trade a Caterpie for a Dratini wasn't trading, it was robbery.

Of course, besides Pokémon exchanges as the main the, the festival also featured many people selling various resources and materials.

For instance, the stall Sieg and Luna were currently browsing.

Various miscellaneous materials were displayed, rare dicinal herbs and treasures collected from the wild.

"Excuse , how much for this Icy Rock powder?" Luna inquired about the price.

She pointed to a small box containing powdered substance on the stall. This was a relatively rare Ice-type resource, powder scraped from the icy body of Cryogonal.

As everyone knew, Cryogonal was native to the Kalos region. Aside from a few populations in Unova, it was extrely difficult to find in other regions.

"10,000 Pokédollars. You're a pretty young lady, have your boyfriend buy it for you." The vendor winked suggestively, speaking in the tone of soone experienced in life.

Luna's face instantly turned red as she quietly protested: "What... what boyfriend?"

Sieg chuckled: "Boss, you have good taste. Moon is indeed very pretty."

Sieg directly paid and purchased the box of Icy Rock powder. Ten thousand Pokédollars was pocket change to him. If this could increase Luna's affection, it was naturally worthwhile.

The two continued browsing through the festival's central venue. Sieg could clearly sense Luna's gaze carrying a hint more intimacy when she looked at him.

Sure enough, the closer they got to the center, the livelier it beca.

"Dive Balls that easily catch Pokémon living in water! Also Heal Balls, Luxury Balls, and various other Pokéballs, don't miss this opportunity!"

"Already evolved Gyarados! Of course, you must have the ability to control it. Looking to trade for a Nincada!"

"Precious ditite hatchling! Rare Fighting/Psychic-type with the incredible Pure Power ability!"

(Pure Power: Through yoga power, physical attack strength becos doubled.)

Various shouts echoed throughout the plaza. Luna glanced at the sowhat crowded throng and instinctively shrank back.

"So many people~"

Luna suggested visiting the shops on the other side instead, as they were obviously more upscale.

They arrived at the southernmost end of the shopping district.

Entering an item shop, the store appeared rather empty and quiet.

However, the interior decoration was exceptionally refined and exquisite, and even the hired shop attendants were extraordinarily attractive.

"Hehe, Sieg, the owner behind this shop is one of my dad's friends. Jumpluff's Sharp Beak was bought from here."

Luna explained while naturally greeting the shop attendants familiarly.

These attendants also seed quite familiar with Luna, all smiling and nodding, appearing careful not to show any negligence.

"Excuse , do you have Soft Sand and Fla Orbs?" Sieg glanced at the various items displayed on the counter, discovering they were all display models.

"Sir, Fla Orbs are rather precious items. I'm afraid no item shop on this entire street would have them. As for Soft Sand, we do have so inventory, though I'm unsure if the quality will et your requirents."

An attendant stepped forward, answering Sieg's question quite attentively.

Sieg nodded, and imdiately two attendants walked toward a second-floor room, apparently to retrieve the Soft Sand.

Sieg's purchase of Soft Sand was naturally for Sandile to hold. This item, when carried, increased the power of Ground-type moves.

It was also among the most common type-enhancing items.

Therefore, most item shops kept them in stock.

Fla Orbs were different, however. Such precious items couldn't be mass-produced in factories and could only be crafted using ancient thods by Item Crafters.

Unless a shop had an Item Crafter permanently stationed, they were rarely available.

Before long, two attendants hurried down, each carrying an elegant gift box.

Upon opening, the exquisite boxes contained two purple sandbags. Through the fabric, one could faintly see the sand contained within.

"May I touch them to assess the quality?" Sieg inquired.

After receiving permission, he reached into both purple bags separately, feeling their distinct textures.

He could clearly sense that the Soft Sand in one bag was more refined, feeling like water flowing across his fingertips.

Sure enough, upon examining the authentication certificate beneath, this Soft Sand had a 14% enhancent.

Just barely short of reaching the threshold for rare items.

5% to 15% enhancent was classified as standard items, while below 5% was considered damaged items.

Once enhancent reached above 15%, it would be classified as rare items, often exceedingly difficult to obtain.

"170,000 Pokédollars seems acceptable. Also, please wrap up that 10% enhancent Sharp Beak from the counter as well."

After brief contemplation, Sieg quickly made his decision.

After all, with sufficient training funds and encountering suitable items, he naturally should acquire them.

Both items totaled 270,000 Pokédollars. After showing his Level 2 clearance, he successfully received a 10% discount.

"Dear custor, your total is 243,000 Pokédollars. Thank you for your patronage."

Sieg paid quite readily. The shop, seemingly out of consideration for Luna, waived the additional 3,000 Pokédollars.

After leaving the shop, Luna said with slight playfulness: "I didn't realize my reputation was worth so much, saved you 3,000 Pokédollars!"
