Since we decided to et up at 12:30 p.m, I limited my training after breakfast to only an hour. After that, I went to freshen up and changed into a set of fresh clean clothes.
By 10:30 a.m I was ready, so after checking that I had the gifts, I took my bag of holding and Locked the door before calling out Horus/Xatu. I was going to use the Horus express to travel to Orchid City.
The direct distance, through the air, was roughly 3000 km from our ho, while the distance through the official route system was around 5000 km. Unfortunately, Horus could not manage long-distance teleportation like that yet.
Heck, his maximum distance was not even a fourth of that and he had to rest for a while before being able to jump once more. It was much more efficient to do 400 km jumps with 3 to 5-minute breaks between each jump, since he was bringing along. If he had been on his own the breaks would have been much shorter.
Anyway, even with the breaks, Horus could cover roughly 6000 km in an hour with tagging along. On his own, he could probably do it in half the ti. By the ti we arrived in front of the Orchid City Teleportation Hub, it was 11:23 a.m, so Horus made it in less than an hour.
We were probably part of the rare club of people that teleported beside the hub instead of teleporting inside it. Anyway, I thanked him for his help and praised him for his speed before recalling him.
The speed, in this case, was the ti it took him to arrive, so the ti between each teleportation, not the teleportation itself since that part was nearly instant.
I had an hour until the appointnt with my lovely mom and dad, so I decided to make a quick stop at so of the Pokemon stores. I was considering adding so good potential Rattata and Spearow into the subspace to help the gene pool a bit.
Nothing much, I was just planning to check out a few 4-star mbers to see if I could find a Pokemon green or deep green potential. That way I could add blue potential to the subspace pool.
I might then after a few generations export the blue potential ones to the main space to start a new colony there. Still, that was quite a few years off, so let's focus on the here and now.
I took out an overcoat with a hood and a half-mask before I quickly took off in the direction I knew a store was. I approached the reception as soon as I entered the store.
"Excuse , I'd like to see your stock of Rattata," I said to the receptionist and she complied before printing out the current list.
Apparently, the store had one 5-star Rattata available, along with 18 4-star Rattata, and a lot of unidentified ones. I put the list away, before turning my attention back to the receptionist.
"I'd like to take a look at the 4-star Rattata please," I told her and she agreed with a polite smile.
"Please follow ," she said before walking deeper into the store.
She led us to a tightly guarded room where she spoke with one of the guards before entering. She ca out a few minutes later with a tray that had a few Pokeballs.
We walked toward another room where she released the Rattata, and I checked them all. Out of the 18 Rattata, 3 had deep green potential and 5 had green potential.
Out of the 8, 5 were male and 3 were female, including a deep green one. I did not plan to spend too much money on this, so I decided to buy the 3 deep green ones and one of the female green potential ones.
The total price ca up as 2.685.000 Poke which I paid in cash using the alliance-issued gold cards. While they were not worth their weight in gold, the alliance backed them, so they still represent higher amounts of money just like bills.
There were gold cards worth 100 million, 50 million, 10 million, 5 million, 1 million, 500k, 100k, and 50k Poke. I paid 2.65 million Poke using gold cards and 35k using bills.
I then left with my four new Pokemon and made my way over to another store where I asked to see the available 4-star Spearow. Unlike with the Rattata, I only found 2 deep green Spearow, and both were male, so I choose 2 female green potential Spearow to even the scale as they say.
The total price ca up as 3.260.000 Poke which I once more paid in cash using the alliance-issued gold cards. So, the total amount I paid for all 8 Pokemon was close to 6 million Poke.
A quick look at my watch told that I still had 10 minutes until our eting, so I found myself a KFC store and entered their toilet. There I first got rid of the coat and mask before doing a quick visit to Utopia to check up on Eggy.
All that took less than two minutes, so I quickly made my way over to the Teleportation Hub after leaving the KFC store.
I kept part of my attention on Utopia while I was running to see if all of them got elevated to light blue or not. 3 of the Rattata had their potential raised to light blue and the last one was elevated to blue.
The Spearow were less fortunate, 3 of them had their potential raised to light blue while the last one only ended up with deep green potential. I left the introduction of their situation to the others since I just made it to the Hub.
I saw my parents waiting for in front of the Teleportation Hub and they noticed shortly after I saw them. Mom ca toward and dad followed behind her. She hugged and he patted on the shoulder.
We exchanged greetings and after they made sure that I had the gifts with , we left for the Field's ho.
Once we were there, I rang the doorbell, and aunt Lily was the one who opened the door. She welcod us, and we moved to their living room. There I saw Rose and I went up to her to hug her.
"Happy Birthday Rose!" I congratulated her and she thanked while reciprocating the hug. We broke up the hug and I turned to uncle Thorn and greeted him as well.
After the pleasantries were done which included Rose greeting my parents, she dragged to her room. Inside her room, I got jumped by Princess/Vulpix, Ivy/Eevee, and Boom/Whismur.
I greeted them and gave them a few scratches at their favorite places making the trio happy. Rose just laughed at the spectacle and once I set them down we began to talk.
"So, how has the break been so far?" I began our conversation.
"Quite good, I got to relax after that infernal cramming phase. Not having to learn and being able to just laze around the last 3 weeks were great. Ahh, but don't misunderstand we did so training and I used the massage tricks you showed ." She added and her trio gave cries of affirmation.
"That's good. I can totally relate on the cramming front. So, have you already decided on which school you're going to apply to?" I asked curiously while petting Princess and Ivy who moved onto my lap. Boom on the other hand walked up to Rose and got hugged like a plushie.
"Yep!" She replied with a nod. "I applied for "Rising Orchid Trainer School" the best trainer school in Orchid City. They already sent us the acceptance letter, so that's already done." She happily told with a bright smile.
"That's great! Congratulations," I told her and she released a happy laugh at my praise.
"Ne, Mika. Could you show so more of those massage moves you showed the last ti? I think I already have the last set down pretty well, so I'd like to learn so more if that's okay with you," Rose asked and all three of her Pokemon perked up at her question.
"Sure! No problem," I replied before I showed her another 9 relatively easy massage motions, 3 for each of her Pokemon. I directly demonstrated the moves on her Pokemon.
I demonstrated each motion a few tis before supervising her while she tried to do them. Thanks to the previous sessions she did not hurt her Pokemon, even if it took her a while to get the motions down correctly.
I made sure she had the moves sowhat down before I told her she could stop. Her Pokemon complained that it was just getting good when she stopped which made us laugh.
"You'll have the chance to experience that soon enough. No need to pout," I told them while giving them all a scratch at their respective favorite spots, and I also used the occasion to check their status to see if sothing had changed.

Well, obviously there was so progress. Both Ivy and Boom had broken through to the bronze stage. Since that was the case, that ant Boom was ready for his evolution to Loudred.
"How's training going? Both Boom and Ivy seem to have gotten stronger," I inquired of her and she smiled proudly.
"They both reached the bronze stage," she said obviously delighted and I gave my congratulations. Seems like she kept it a secret to surprise/impress which was adorable.
"We're pretty much done with the last set of moves and are currently working on so stronger moves." She added and I nodded since it made sense. It had been months since they began to improve the mastery of the last set of moves after all.
"So, any plans of letting Boom evolve? I think he should be ready, right?" I asked and she shook her head in denial.
"Not yet. While he can evolve any ti we decided to wait for a while more. He's happy with his smaller form, for now, so we've decided to see how the trainer school bit goes before deciding if he should evolve or not." She answered and Boom gave a nod from her lap to show his approval.
"Hmm, the choice is yours, but you do know that the training speed as Loudred is a bit faster right?" I asked to make sure she knew that piece of information.
"Yep, but we're not in a hurry so that's okay," she responded and I gave an approving nod to that.
"Hmm, good. Also, don't be in a hurry to evolve Princess or Ivy. It's better if they get stronger first before evolving. Reaching the silver stage at least would be for the best." I inford her out of goodwill and she just nodded.
Afterward, we just spent two more hours talking before our parents called us for lunch. After that, we sat with our parents until it was ti for the party.
At 4 p.m, her friends from school and so family friends ca over, and once everyone that was invited was there we moved towards a nearby park.
While the adults got the barbecue going, we, the kids, were talking, playing, and stuff. We played a few rounds of Ranger and Smuggler as well as Hot Potato.
We got called over once the food was ready and afterward we played pantomi. So of their tries to illustrate stuff were hilarious. At 7:30 p.m aunt Lily brought out the cake and we sang happy birthday before the cake got cut and distributed.
Following the cake, we sang a few songs, before the gifts were handed out. Since we were outside everyone just handed over the gifts that got stored inside aunt Lily's bag of holding. We just pulled out one of the wrapped gifts in front of everyone and after the gifting, the guests began to leave and the party was officially over.
Once everyone was gone we tidied up everything and went back to their ho. There we pulled out the rest of our gifts and handed them over to Rose, who proceeded to unwrap them together with the previous one.
When she saw the hoodies she looked happy and thanked us, the sa with the lotions. She especially liked that I had labeled the bottles. We stayed for another hour or so before we said our farewells and made our way back ho.
Well, they offered us to stay over, but we politely declined. We did not use the Horus-Express since that would have taken more than an hour with two extra passengers but used the services of the Teleportation Hub instead.
