"Ok, let’s go there and check.", said Axel to all of them. But Aerodactyl and Salance were too tired to even move. Due to their agility training, they had a lot of small injuries all over their bodies.
"What? Are you tired from small injuries? How can you beco as powerful as Charles and Marcus if you get tired from such small injuries?"
Both of them felt guilty after hearing this. After all, they knew how hard their seniors trained to reach that level.
"Ok, we will rest for 10 minutes. Then we will continue.", said Axel.
Axel asked how different the Koffing looked as per their descriptions; he was positive that it was a shiny. Now, Axel didn’t know how the evolution would turn out if the shiny Koffing decided to evolve with his Koffing.
anwhile, Koffing was anxious about eting its partner. It suddenly felt a warm hand on top of its head.
"Don’t worry, we will get through this."

"So, this is the shiny Koffing. What is it doing here so far from its tribe?"
Axel believed that the Koffing belonged to the Weezing tribe. That made sense in every way.
Axel could already tell that from the aura alone, this Koffing had the power of an uncommon rank.

This was a powerful Pokemon. All of its stats had been maxed out, and it had an interesting set of moves. Its ability and hidden ability mastery were higher than his own Koffing, and the most interesting thing was that it had a passive move.
Poison bomb (stage I): The poison from its body had the properties to explode.
The description was simple, but it showed the range of possibilities that this Koffing could have. Frankly, his Koffing looked less impressive than this shiny Koffing.
"Let’s go"
Finally, the group decided to show themselves. Seeing a group of unknown beings walking towards them, the shiny Koffing was scared shitless. It gave so threatening roars, telling them not to co any closer. Then it saw a Koffing in the group.
"Hey, you don’t need to worry about us. We were just traveling and saw that you were injured. So, we ca to help you.", said Axel.
But this Koffing had never heard a human language before. So, it could not understand. So, Salance decided to translate it. Axel could clearly see that it was scared for so reason. So, he told his Koffing to go forward and talk to it.
But his plan backfired.
The shiny Koffing was even more scared of his Koffing. It imdiately used the move ’Sludge wave’ and sent a range of poisons towards Koffing.
"Koffing, use ’Poison armor’ and then ’Substitute’.", said Axel imdiately. He was scared of its passive ’Poison bomb’.
So, he also told his Koffing to back out a bit. The shiny Koffing used the move ’Toxic spikes’ around it, protecting it from the intruders.
"Why is it so scared of its own species?", asked Axel.
Axel looked at the sky-blue Koffing floating and getting ready for another strike, and tried to calm it down.
After half an hour of patience and dogging the poison moves from the shiny Koffing, and it finally calms down. It had now realized that these guys were not after its life.
"So, why are you so scared of us, especially your own species?"
After Salance translated it to shiny Koffing, it started to tell its story. It was a classic story of most of the shiny Pokemon.
While humans thought shiny Pokemon were rare collection, Pokemon considered it a curse. Shiny Pokemon was a type of color mutation, but Pokemon normally didn’t have knowledge about it. So, most of the ti, shiny Pokemon were hated in their own tribe, as an outcast.
Shiny Koffing also faced the sa problem. Since it was young, it had been discriminated against by its tribe mbers. It didn’t have any friends and none of them wanted to talk to it.
If it were not for its parents, it would have died long ago. But since its parents were powerful and on the higher ranks of the tribe, it didn’t have to face a lot of problems.
So, to change the mind of its tribe mbers, it decided to train harder and beco the strongest of the tribe. Only then would it be valued.
But one unfaithful day, while it was training in poison moves, its poison suddenly exploded. This led the tribe to believe that it was truly cursed. Before, it was just a probability, but now it was confird.
Even its parents could not save it this ti. So, its parents helped it run from the tribe. It did succeed in doing so, but it didn’t have any experience living in the wild. That was why it was crying right now.
Axel also told us about himself. This ti, it was not so space pirate crap but a real story. Soday, this Koffing might be a part of his team. So, he could not start this relationship based on a lie.
"So, my Koffing is ready to combine with other Koffing and evolve. I see that you are also ready for it. So, do you want to evolve with my Koffing?"
Axel didn’t beat around the bush and directly said what he wanted to say. He could have gone to the tribe where he would have had better options, but he didn’t do so. Doing it would an disregarding shiny Koffing feelings. There may be strong Koffings with unique talents in that tribe, but shiny Koffing was also not to be underestimated.
It had a higher mastery level in ability and hidden ability, and also had a passive move. Also, it was a shiny Pokemon. So, clearly, there must be other mutation properties inside it.
Shiny Koffing was very happy. This was the first ti that it had received a proposal for evolution. But then it turned serious.
When two or more Koffings evolve to Weezing, it would have two heads and two brains. There would always be one head that would be the leader and final decision maker. Every Koffing wanted to be that leader, including shiny Koffing.
"I believe that only the strong can be a leader. So, why don’t we do sothing? Right now, both of you will fight. This will be a practice match. Both of you will get the gist of your abilities. Then, after a month, both of you will fight again. The winner of that fight will get to be the leader after the evolution.
Shiny Koffing imdiately agreed to it. Koffing also didn’t have any problem with this arrangent. Both of them were eager to see each other’s capabilities since they were going to be partners in the future.
Both of them got ready to fight.
"Ok, start the battle!!!"
Both of them used their own strategies. The battle went on for 5 minutes, but in the end, shiny Koffing won by a landslide. It was not only that it was stronger than Koffing, but it also had a lot of experience in battling.
Koffing did open with moves like ’Stockpile’ and ’Poison armor’. It tried to play defensively, but shiny Koffing was more experienced and its moves were also powerful. Axel also realized that it didn’t have full control of the poison bomb, but that was what made it win the battle so easily.
Since it itself didn’t know when there would be an explosion, Koffing would also have no idea. So, while it was fighting, the poison exploded and Koffing was injured. Make no mistake. It was not the sa Koffing as when it battled against Poliwhirl. It had battled Poliwhirl right now, it would surely have won this ti.
But the shiny Koffing was exceptionally powerful, too.
"Congrats, Koffing. You won the battle. Now, I cannot take you to my place right now, but I also know that you need a safe place. So, I have a proposition for you."
After settling shiny Koffing to the Bisharp tribe for a month, Axel and the group resud their journey.

Koffing was not feeling good right now. It had given its word, and if it lost after a month, it could not be the leader after the evolution. What was it going to do?
At that ti, it felt a warm touch on the top of its head. It looked up and saw that it was Axel.
"Don’t worry. Why do you think that I told both of you to fight after a month? I already knew that shiny Koffing was stronger than you. You still have a month to train with . That was why I didn’t bring it into Priape’s tribe. Because if I have done so, then I must also have to train it."
Axel had not brought the shiny Koffing to the Priape’s tribe because he didn’t want it to feel discriminated against, and he wanted his Koffing to win.
Shiny Koffing would beco Axel’s Pokemon in the future. So, he could not discriminate it and his old Koffing. So, if he had brought it to Priape’s tribe, he would have to train it, and it might also win the battle after a month. That was why he had left it in Bisharp tribe.
Koffing was seriously thinking about how to win against that shiny Koffing. To be honest, the shiny Koffing was way older than Koffing. That was why it had so much experience.
"There are three reasons why you could not win that battle. First is your lack of fighting experience. Now, we cannot redy that in just a month, but we can improve your battle experience. So, you will fight against your peers every day for a month.

Hearing about its shortcomings made Koffing even more nervous about the fight next month.
"But you have sothing that shiny Koffing doesn’t have."
Koffing eagerly raised its head to hear what it had that shiny Koffing didn’t.
"That is . That shiny Koffing doesn’t have .", said Axel with his chest held high.
Koffing had the urge to vomit, looking at its trainer, comnding himself.
"What I an to say is that I can train you to beat that shiny Koffing in a month."
The thing that it was going to learn was the move ’Psybeam’. Koffing was only weak to psychic-type move. So, this move would be the dark horse for Koffing.
"Don’t worry about your ability and hidden ability. We will train it in the future."
Training ability and hidden ability were very difficult, and it would take a long ti. Not sothing that could be done in a month. Also, its ability and hidden ability would not be so helpful in the fight.
"After that, you will focus on moves like ’Heat wave’, ’Swallow’, ’Pain split’ and ’Stockpile’ and also on ’Dark pulse’.
Koffing was resistant to poison. So, training in poison moves was redundant now.
"You know what? Don’t train on ’Dark pulse’ for now.", said Axel, adjusting the training schedule.
In the morning, it would train in moves like ’Heat wave’ and ’Psybeam’. In the afternoon, it would train in ’Swallow’, ’Pain split’ and ’Stockpile’ and finally it would battle its peers for 2 hours.
This was the new training schedule for Koffing.
