News outlets like Kanto Region News labeled them "The Fallen Pillars." Citizens, feeling abandoned, took to the streets in protests across Kalos, Johto, and even parts of Galar. Their logos were defaced. Statues of champions were torn down or vandalized with graffiti that read "Where were you when Paldea burned?"
Paldea wasn’t just a territorial loss—it was a cultural death blow. The region had been a new hope and a redemption for the league after the tide of losses. With it now under the iron rule of the Seven Deadly Sins, a massive power vacuum opened.

"What is happening to the league? The one organization that the people of the world trusted? First, we learned that it is not even as efficient as a recently ford rcenary team. Then we were horrified to know that it also had a hand in the kidnapping of Axel Blaze. Now, it cannot even protect a region from an outside threat?

The news was playing, and everyone was glued to the TV. The situation in Paldea was unknown, as the ’Seven Deadly Sins’ had blocked all forms of communication from the Paldea region.

"Yes, K, I am. Where are you, by the way?"
"I recently ca ho to rest and got the news that this ’Seven Deadly Sins’ has taken over a region? A WHOLE REGION? Do you believe it?"
"Well, we are seeing it right now."
"Angela told to call you. You are summoned for a high-level eting at night. You better co fast."
"But why? Is there a problem with sothing?"
"No, but it is about the Paldea region and the ’Seven Deadly Sins’. You’d better co fast. The situation out here is not so good."
"Don’t worry, I will co."

Axel looked towards Ashmita and said, "Call an ergency eting within 20 minutes."
Many questions were forming in his head. First of all, how could the seven deadly sins be so powerful? The only thing that he knew was that they were a secretive organization, and they made sure not to ss with the league. But now, suddenly, they attacked the league and won, too?
Axel could assu that the forces of the league might not be so tight as they are here in the Kanto region since the region had yet to be accepted as the central region. But an unknown organization was taking over the whole area, that was never been heard of.
How powerful were the Seven Deadly Sins? Axel didn’t know why Angela called him, but it must be important, and he wanted his team to be ready for anything.

"Sir, why have you called us?", asked Alon.
He had been enjoying his holiday after the tide battle. Every mber of the team was given 2 weeks’ holiday. They could go and et with their families and enjoy it with their friends.
"All of you heard about the Paldea region, right?", asked Axel.
"Yes, we did."
"Yes."
"What happened?", asked Alon.
He was the only one who didn’t know about it, since he had been sleeping until the afternoon.
"Well, the Paldea region was taken over by ’Seven Deadly Sins’ and now they rule over it."
"Really?"
"I cannot believe that they won against the league. I an, it is ’The League’."
"That is the thing that I want to talk about. With this drastic change, sothing is bound to happen. The league will try to take revenge on it, and I believe that if we play our cards right, we may have a chance to get a piece of that region."
Krishna’s eyes glead with excitent.
"Sir, what do you think that we should do?", asked Krishna.
"I don’t know, but I just got called for an ergency eting by the Venu family. They may have so information. Now, if the ti cos for us to attack and reclaim what the league has lost, I want a specialized team to handle it.
Rember, we have been training how to defend, not how to attack. We haven’t had a good experience with it. That is why I am not planning to take the whole team into this upcoming war.
So, select a few mbers for the task, that is, if we get a chance for it."

The headquarters of the Venu family was located near Lavender Town, and since Alakazam had a marker there, it was easy for Axel to reach it in a few minutes.
As Axel approached the Venu family Headquarters, a slow, quiet warmth spread through his chest — a feeling both haunting and comforting. Familiar stone walls, weathered by ti and seasons, stood like silent guardians of the past. Vines curled along the edges of the archways just as they had years ago.
Each step forward felt like walking through a living photograph. It had been a couple of years since Axel ca to this place. He had been in constant contact with Angela and the trio, but he had never co here due to his heavy schedule. He was supposed to be the elder of training, finances, and managent.
Axel felt a bit guilty about not fulfilling his responsibilities, but he had a lot on his plate. Since he was not present, a substitute elder had taken his place, and he had been doing a good job in it.
As Axel was reminiscing about the past while looking at the familiar training ground, he heard a voice from the back.
"So, you finally ca, huh?"
Axel turned around and said with a smile, "K, it has been so ti. How are you doing, my friend?"
Axel gave him a bear hug. It had been so ti since he had seen K, A, and B. "Where are A and B?"
"Oh, they are busy with all the preparations. Co with . I have sothing for you.", said K as he told Axel to follow him.
He was led to K’s ho. K’s parents were delighted to et him again. He gave them a short greeting, and K took him to his room. K went to search for his bag and after so ti ca up with sothing he had not expected.
It was a big bunch of cigarettes.
"This is different from what we normally take. It sses with your brain and might also cause hallucinations.", said K, proud of his innovation.
Axel could not believe that K had discovered weed. Axel took a sip of it. He was never good with weed. It always ended badly for him, so he only took a sip out of respect for K.
"So, what are you doing now? Still trying to beco the Pokemon master after the league?"
Just like Axel, K had recently participated in the Kanto league battle and ca out victorious. He had multiple king rank Pokemon now, and he had also registered himself in the Johto region.
"Yes, but now there is not much flare to it. Many people are discussing the tide of battles and what the future holds, and I believe that gym battles will not remain as popular in the future. I don’t know what to do now."
"Why don’t you join in my rcenary team. You can clear your mind while working there."
"It is not a bad idea. Give so ti to think about."
This was what made Axel appreciate true friends. K, A, and B were so of his oldest friends, and he fully trusted them. So, he didn’t have to butter his words to invite K. K already knew that Axel didn’t have any other agenda in inviting him, so he readily agreed with so ti.
As they were talking about the good old days, K said, "Angela is calling you for an elder eting. Let’s go. I have so work at that place too."

As he entered the eting room, it looked quite lively. There were multiple windows and sofas. The fresh sll of flowers assaulted his nose as he entered the room. There were seven people in the eting room beside him, and also among them were seated on chairs with a big rectangular table in between.
The people in this eting were:
1. Aron- Elder, dealing with healing and dicine.
2. Rox: Elder dealing with the rules and laws of the family.
3. Trishna: Elder dealing with communication and Trading.
4. Mark: Elder dealing with science experints.
5. Nisha: Substitute for Axel.
6. Adam: Grand Elder.
7. Angela: Leader of the Venu family.
"Why are you always late for the eting?", asked Angela.
"Haha. Sorry, I had to co from a different town to attend the eting."
Adam stood up, hugged him, and said, "Welco back, Axel."
"Thanks."
Mark also shook his hand, and others also greeted him. Axel was close to Mark and Adam. It was lively to see both of them again.
Axel also sat on the chair, and Angela said, "Since the last elder has co, we will start this eting.
Most of you may not be aware of the reason I called for this ergency eting. Yes, it is about the Paldea region."
There were so murmurs after hearing Angela’s statent, but Angela continued.
"The league has failed, and the crown wants to correct the league’s mistake. Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova are participating in this war. To overthrow the Seven Deadly Sins.

"Since so many regions are participating, what will be our rewards when we win this battle?"
"That has yet to be decided Everyone will get sothing. I believe that we could claim land."
"That might not be possible since so many regions are participating. But I believe that we will get sothing.", said Mark.
"Since Axel has a lot of experience in wars and battles, I believe that he should be appointed as the leader of his operation.", said Angela.
She looked at everyone and asked, "Does anyone have a problem with this?"
None of them raised their hand. So now it was approved. Axel will be taking a leadership position in the upcoming war.
