When a loved one says that they want to break up, the feeling cannot be described in words. A man might feel that he had fallen from a tall building and could not comprehend what had happened at first.
One might think that Axel was feeling the sa way, but such a thing was not happening to him. He had already expected Kate to say sothing like this. He had not given her enough ti, and they were only called a couple on paper. He had only t her a couple of tis and barely called her.
But his ego didn't let him give up on her.
"Kate, why are you saying this? I know that I am not giving you the ti that you deserve. But you must understand that I am super busy right now."

Axel was attracted by her physical appearance at first. He rembered the first ti he saw her when he was going to buy Gogoat from the Zard family. Then he got the chance to et her again and then they beca a couple.
But as he started to think about her, he could not find anything other than her appearance that he liked about her. This was not a good thing to say or even think but it was true.
That didn't an that she was not a good girl. She was perfect in every way. Any boy would be lucky to have her as a girlfriend but since he didn't have ti to see it, he could not feel it inside.
"Kate, I know that I am wrong here but why should we break up? Shouldn't you give another chance?"
"Oh, you want another chance huh? Ok then. Why don't you co to et right now?"
"You know that I cannot do that. I am very busy right now."
"Oh really? Why are you so busy?"
"We will have our first tide battle in the next 3 months. So I am training my team right now. There are a lot of new mbers and they need to know how a tide battle is done. I need to tell them all the strategies. So, I cannot move from here right now."
"But you cannot spare 1 day, huh? Axel, I gave you a chance and if you think that you cannot even give a day of your ti, then I have nothing to say to you.

After that, Kate hung off the phone. Axel didn't know what to do right now. Should he really go and et her? But he had a lot of things riding out here. What if he spends so days with her and due to the lack of training, so mbers die in the next tide battle? He could not forgive himself if such a thing happened. He didn't want to live in regret.

"Really? But why?"
"After hearing all of this, I think that you don't really love this girl. You are in your teenage and just want to have a girlfriend. I think that you are not serious about her. Because, if you were serious, you could have decided to visit her right now. You know that we could handle the training for a few days. There would be no problem.
Yet, your priority is shifted here more than there. I am not saying it is a bad thing. If you don't feel for this girl, then you don't feel for it. What is the harm of accepting it? It is not like every relationship will work.
Maybe you will find soone even more great who is more compatible with you."
"Maybe you are right. If it is not ant to be, then it is not ant to be. Let's go and have dinner. I am starving.", said Axel.

"Yes, don't worry about Serena. I know that she will do a good job. I am actually thinking to give her the position of a teacher in our rcenary team.", said Axel.
"Sir, is she really that good? I an I have not even seen her Pokemons till now. I feel that she doesn't even have one."
'Yes, because she is a Pokemon herself.', thought Axel but didn't bother to say it.
Serena was Latias in disguise. She had said that she wanted her secret to be hidden so Axel had not told them about Latias. But since she was going to teach the team about psychic types and teleportation, Axel had to make her a mber of his team.
Surprisingly, Latias aka Serena was not against it. On the contrary, she was excited to beco a mber of the team.
He wanted to make her a permanent team mber, where she would help him in training his team's Pokemon but sadly, Serena could not leave this island right now.
"Don't worry about her. Yes, she doesn't have a Pokemon but she is very good at training Pokemons."
None of them questioned Axel after that. They trusted him.
"How is your training going on? I want all of you to be at least rare rank before the start of the tide battle.", said Axel.
Since they had also wanted to learn the soul arts, their bodies were also attuned to it. So, their personal ranks had also fallen down to uncommon rank.
During a tide battle, it is important for a trainer to be strong too. If sothing were to happen, then they needed to protect themselves. That was why Axel wanted them to be at least rare rank before the end of this training.

"Good, now go. You must have a lot of preparation.", said Axel.
Axel didn't want to take sides but he still favored John due to only one reason. He wanted his team to realize that they should not underestimate others. Because if they did then they would suffer.
Underestimating your enemies was a rookie mistake that would get you killed in tide battles. Axel wanted to set up an example through John.

"Ladies, Gentlen, and Pokemons. I am your host Rohit and I will be comnting on this battle today. We are a team and it is necessary for us to spar.
Today we have 2 captains who want to test themselves. First of all, we have Kate, the captain of the experienced team. Let's welco her."
There was a round of cheers as Kate walked into the stadium. These stadiums, houses, and training grounds were made with the help of Latias. It had been very helpful for Axel.
"Secondly, we have John, the captain of the returnees's team."
The cheers only ca from the returnee's team.
There were a lot of experienced team mbers and Axel had scattered them around and tead them up with new mbers. This was done to balance their experience. However, there was one team solely consisting of experienced team mbers and Kate was the captain of that team.

"Who do you think will win?", ca a voice from behind.
Axel turned around and saw that it was Latias in the form of Serena.
"Hey, Lat.. I an Serena. How co you are here? You said that you were busy with sothing?"
"Yes, but I wanted to see this battle."
"Then you are welco. By the way, when can you start training my team mbers?"
"I can do that from tomorrow. Don't worry about that."
"I also have a favor to ask you. I have an Alakazam. Nowadays, it only sits in its room and does so weird experints. I don't know what it wants to accomplish. Can you help it?"
"Yes, don't worry about it. I am not called the legendary Pokemon for nothing. So, who do you think will win?"

Since she had beco a part of the team, she also had RM. So, she made a bet on John.
"Let's hope that you will win.", said Axel and looked at the battle.

"Before we start this battle. Let tell you the rules. First of all, no serious injuries or killings. We are a team and this is a spar. If such a thing were to happen, then you would be out of the team and you will also get punishnt. This is not to be taken lightly.
So, there will be no use of a pre-domain move if your Pokemon has it.
Secondly, this is only One vs. one battle and the winner of it will get 5 days of training ti in the specified training area.
Finally, the winner of this battle will get 10 % of the total bet after taxes. Now, let's do the toss."
John won the toss and Kate would have to send her Pokemon first. But the toss didn't matter cause both of them knew which Pokemon they were going to use.
"Co out!! Infernape!!!", shouted Kate and threw the ball in the air.

Infernape ca out with a roar. It looked very healthy and ready to battle. Infernape was one of the most popular fire-type Pokemons. Axel had also thought to raise it soday.
The crowd cheered after seeing the Infernape. Axel was surprised to see that it was tier 2 king-rank Pokemon. Axel didn't know that one of the captains would have a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon. Will John really win this battle?
"Let's do it, Toxtricity!!!", shouted John and threw the ball.
It was a low-key Toxtricity and Axel was happy about that. Amped form Toxtricity was not suitable for the tide battles due to its short temper.
It was also a very interesting Pokemon.
What surprised Axel even more was that this Toxtricity was also a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon.
"Ashmita, how many captains have a tier 2 king rank Pokemon?", asked Axel.
"Sir, there are only 2 of them and they are right here.", replied Ashmita
A tier 2 king-rank Pokemon was vastly more powerful than a tier 1 king-rank Pokemon.
