The room was completely white. L was tied onto the chair which was white. The ropes were white, even his clothing was white and L looked like a half-dead person.
There were multiple wounds all over his body. Axel could see that his wounds were regularly cleaned and addressed. There were multiple scars on his body. All of his nails were taken out. L didn't have the healing powers like Axel.
Most of his teeth had co out and he was looking horrible. Even Axel who hated L to the bone felt pity for him.
L slowly raised his head with difficulty and opened his eyes to see who was calling him. Then he gave an unusual smile to Axel as if he was eting his best friend after decades.
"Axel, you... fina...ly ca. I have been waiting for... you for qui...te so ti."
Axel took a chair and sat down. He didn't talk for 10 full seconds and just looked at L. L was not in the position to speak properly.
"Are you loo..king at to laugh?", asked L stamring with every word.
"No, at first, I want to co here to kill you but after seeing the pathetic state that you are in, I am actually feeling pity for you.
You know that you are going to die. There is no question about it. No one is coming here to save you. But I could give you a peaceful death if you tell the na of my kidnapper."
"Cough.. Cough..." L started to cough and Axel helped him to drink so water.
"It is quite funny... that the tables have completely turned. Just so.. days.. ago, I was feeding you water the sa way.
I called you here for the sa purpose."
"Why do you have to call and why can't you just tell others about it?"
"Cause I don't trust anyone of them. I only trust you."
"Trust ? Hahaha, why would you trust a guy that is ready to rip you apart?", asked Axel. He was certainly amused by this reply.
"Just call it a dying man instinct."
"Ok, I will take the bait. What do you want in return?", asked Axel.
"I have a daughter and I want you to promise that nothing would happen to her. That is all I ask."
"So, the kidnapper that enjoys torturing also cares about her daughter? That is interesting."
"I didn't want to torture you but I have to feed her and myself. This is the only thing that I excel in. So, I had no choice."
"No, you had choices but you just didn't want to work hard for it."
"Not all of them are as lucky as you Axel. So of us have to live for what we have got. Anyways, are you up for a deal?"
"I just want to know if your daughter also works in this field or if she would take vengeance with in the future cause if she does, I better not take this deal."
"Don't worry. She is just 6 years old. She would forget about in the future. She had not seen for a couple of years too. And even if she thinks to take revenge in the future, by that ti, you will already be so powerful to touch. She would not be a threat to you."
"I will take this deal because you are the only lead that I have. So, tell about this kidnapper.", said Axel.
"I don't know the exact na of your kidnapper but I have seen him once. He is a mber of seven deadly sins. You know about them, don't you?"
"Yes, I do know about them. But why did they kidnap ?"
"I don't know the reason for it and I didn't really care at that ti. But I can tell you another thing. Seven Deadly Sins were not the only people that were involved in this kidnapping."
"What do you an? Then who are the others?"
"That I don't know. I never t with them. I only heard the kidnapper talking about this on the phone. But it looked like the kidnapper was very angry 'cause he could not kidnap you sooner."
L then went on to give a description of the kidnapper to Axel. A drawing artist was invited and after hours of description, the photo of the kidnapper was confird.
It was finally ti for L to die.
"I have a final question for you.", said Axel. L nodded his head with difficulty.
"Why did you tell all this? I an you could have died without telling . I know that you don't want to die to torture. I can still see that your eyes are alive. You could have also hidden your daughter and we would not have found out. Even if we did, I may not have killed her. So, why did you help ?"
"Frankly, I don't know for sure too. Maybe since I am dying I want to do sothing right for once. Maybe I want to save this world from destruction so that my daughter can live peacefully. I know that sothing big is going to happen in the future and humans may have to face extinction.
You are one of the very few people that I know who can reach the top and you have a good heart. So, if I saved you or even helped you, maybe you will be able to save this world that we live in, that I used to live in."
There was a long silence after L spoke. Axel didn't know how to respond to it cause just a few hours ago, he was ready to kill this guy.
"Ok, have a happy death day.", said Axel and went out of the room.
He didn't want to personally kill L cause that was not his style. L was given a drink that would make him sleep forever. That was the most he could do for L.

"So, we finally have a lead on this guy. Seven deadly sins huh? I didn't want to ss with them cause that would be a headache but now it looks like we will have to interfere.
How do you feel about that, Axel?"
"Frankly, I don't want to ss with them right now."
"Really? But why? We already know about the kidnapper. I can call all my teams and also get help from Red and Oak. With such a strong lineup, we will not lose. There are many mysteries surrounding this organization but they cannot be more powerful than all of us combined.", said Blue.
"You are right about that. If all of us combine our powers and influence especially with you, Red, and Oak, we can demolish them completely. But this is my fight. Not the fight of others. I want to do this alone."
"But why when there is an easier way? Axel, you must rember that all of us are a part of you. We are not doing this from the goodness of our hearts or as a charity. We are doing this cause we are connected with you. You are the one who influenced us and made a connection with us. So, this is also a part of your power."
"I understand that. I really do but I want to do this alone. Red said sothing that stuck in my mind. That I am very weak right now and I cannot overpower their whole organization.
I am saying this cause I am proud or I have an ego. But I just feel like doing this alone. I want to show them that they ssed up with a wrong person. I want to see the despair in their eyes. I want them to beg for rcy when I make the final call. I want to feel all of that and I can only do this if I do it alone."
"Well, if you think that this is right, then who am I to complain. I just want to tell you that you have your backup.
Now, coming to the next big thing, what are you planning about your rcenary team?"
"I will go the league to ask for the tide battle and I will see if they would comply. If they don't then I will have to take the help of the King."
"That is a good plan but do rember that the king is only favoring you 'cause he is not in a good position. He would not hesitate to harm you if he feels that you are not needed. The king may not be worse than the league but he is also not an angel."
"I understand. I will be careful."
"Another thing is your Pokemons. Now, since you are going to establish a rcenary team, you need to have Pokemons especially suited for it. Don't get wrong, your Pokemons are strong but you need a specialist.", suggested Blue.
"What do you an a specialist?"
"A Pokemon that would flourish in tide battles. Looking at the state of the world, we will be fighting multiple tide battles in the future against wild Pokemons. The rate of tide battles has increased exponentially and if this goes on, then most of the trainers will be focusing on tide battles in the future.
So, you need a strong team as you are the leader of the group."
"What do you suggest that I cultivate?"
"There are a few Pokemons that cos to mind. But most of them are very hard to find and even though you find them, they are very hard to train. One of the recent Pokemons that cos to my mind is the final evolution of Pawniard. Its final evolution has recently been found and the final evolution is a very interesting ability. People are calling it 'Supre Overload'."
"That is quite a na for an ability."
"Yes, it is but it is also very good for tide battles. Have you heard of it?"
"Of course, I have heard of it."
Pawniard could be counted as one of the endangered species in today's world. It was not cause it was weak but people hunted it for its sword-like hands. They were very valuable and could be sold at expensive prices.
So, naturally, the number died down and none of them knew about its final evolution. Its final evolution, Kingambit was not a normal evolution. A lot of requirents were present there to finally evolve it and it was not set in stone.
But the 'Supre Overlord' was very good for the tide battle. Basically, the ability would increase the attack and special attack of the user if one of its party mbers has been defeated. That was a huge thing in tide battles as a lot of Pokemon die in war.
"Blue, I thought that the Kingambit was discovered quite a while ago, like a year or two. But I have not heard or seen any trainer or leader using this Pokemon. If it is so good, then why are they not investing in it?"
"There are a lot of reasons for it. First of all, it is very hard for Pawniard to beco Kingambit. There are a lot of requirents and not many could do it. Even if a trainer could have a Kingambit, the ability is not so overpowered. Actually, there are a lot of restrictions on it."
