Axel got a range of notifications. It had already been a month and a half since they had co here and Venusaur had finally unlocked its passive move. Axel was very interested to see the move description. A move that took 1.5 months to unlock must be special.

Voice of the forest:
Stage I: 1. Raise the special attack and special defense of the user.
2. Any grass-type moves would consu 50% less stamina and would be 40% more powerful.
3. At its full power it could affect an area of 200 ters around it while using grass-type moves.

This was an overpowered move. First of all, it raised special attack and defense and Venusaur was not close to reaching tier 2 king rank. Secondly, the grass-type moves would consu 50% less stamina. This ant that Venusaur could be in battle for more ti. It also said that the power of any grass-type moves would be 40% higher.
Finally, it could affect the area of 200 ters if used in full power. This ant that moves like 'Deep forest ergence' were going to be deadly in tide battles.
After it had finally learned the passive move, both of them were now ready to go ho.

Axel then looked at w, its trainer for 1 and half months, and all this scenery. All this ti fighting with an uncommon rank Nidorino, he had been only been able to kill it 2 tis. He had beco stronger but this was far from over. He was an elental rank Pokemon while Nidorino was only an uncommon rank. After living here for so ti, Axel had got used to this place but he also knew that he would need to go back ho.
"Yes, I am ready.", said Axel.
"Good, I will now directly teleport you to your ho. Be ready, it is going to suck.", said Celebi.
Axel saw a literal tear in space as both of them were enveloped by it and then they completely disappeared.
After they disappeared w looked at Celebi and asked, "Do you really think that that kid could save the world?"
This was a manly voice. w had transford into W.
"I have no idea but I believe we can hope for it. This foreign entity has started to corrupt Arceus. He is still trying to hold it in and may be able to hold it for a few years. After that, there would be a massacre.
Axel has to be prepared for that. Axel is the only trainer that I have seen to have such trendous potential. He is able to grow fast and that is what I am betting on."
"I just cannot believe that we have stepped so low that we are betting on a 16-year-old kid.", said W.
"We have no choice. Axel is the only anomaly that I have found. But that doesn't an that we don't do anything."
"Oh, what are you really trying to do?", asked W.
"I think it is ti that we finally talk to Giratina."
"Are you crazy? That guy is a total lunatic. Talking to it would not do us any good."
"W, after Arceus and Ho-Oh, that entity would target Xerneas, and if Xerneas is corrupted, we have lost. Giratina is the only one that is not fully corrupted right now and could help us.", said Celebi.

Axel and Venusaur arrived at the garden across his ho. At that ti, all of them were having breakfast and after seeing a sudden intrusion, all of them were scared except for Red.
"Hooo, you are finally back and I can see that Venusaur has beco stronger.", said Red.
"Yes, it has. By the way, how is Priape and Aerodactyl doing?", asked Axel.
"All of them are taking rest after the training. That is good. I will go and et with them first.", said Axel and went to the training ground.
Priape had recently ranked up. Axel had gotten the notification of its rank up. Aerodactyl had also gotten its rank-up condition and it was also on the verge of rank-up.
After seeing that Axel had co, all of his Pokemons gathered around to greet him. Shedinja was relieved that Axel was okay. All of them started to talk to Venusaur about the trip and it happily started to recite it.

'Focus energy' and 'Close combat' had leveled up to 40 and most of its existing moves had also leveled up nicely. This had happened when it was fighting in the tide. Battling on the tide had really helped the young Pokemons.

After leveling up 'Focus energy' to level 40, Priape could finally sleep better. It shared that it had finally slept peacefully for the first ti and now it feels rejuvenated every ti it wakes up.
Axel felt really bad for Priape. Priape had the ability 'Vital spirit' which made it unable to sleep. So, until this ability reaches 100% mastery, Priape was going to feel the effect of not sleeping on its body. However, when it reaches 100%, Priape could partially control its sleep and also not get tired after not sleeping for many days.
As of before, Axel had told Priape to work and train till it could not lift its body. This would naturally make it fall asleep but this was also taxing on its body. However, now it didn't have to wreak its body so hard.
However, that didn't an that it was over. It still needed to master its ability.

As they were resting, Axel called Togetic, Priape, and Aerodactyl to have a little eting.
"Listen, after Aerodactyl ranks up to rare rank, we will go and challenge the first gym. All the Pokemons of that gym would be rare ranks like you, so you will have to be careful.
Fighting in gyms and fighting on tides are completely different. Since you will be fighting in the gym a lot, you need to learn it.", said Axel.

So of them lost and so of them won in the gym and it was said that battling in the gym was difficult. They naturally didn't want to lose have create a bad impression. Specially Togetic. "Aerodactyl, you will take at least a week to rank up to rank rank. Then I will give you an additional 1 week to get used to your new form. After that we will challenge our first gym.", said Axel.

"Which gym would we be fighting? Well, that is a good question. After thinking about it for quite so ti, I have co to a decision. We will challenge the gym leader of Violet city. He will use flying type Pokemon and all of them would be at rare rank."
There were a lot of flying-type Pokemons in the Johto region. A gym leader could only use the Pokemons from their own region. That was the universal rule. Of course, they could own any type of Pokemons but when it ca to challenging the trainers, they could only use Pokemon from Johto Pokedex.

Pidgeot, Fearow, Noctowl, Ledian, Golbat, Togetic, Jumpluff, Gyarados, Yanga, Scyther, Xattu, Gligar, Skarmory, Dodrio, Mantine, Murkrow, Aerodactyl, Dragonite, Charizard
There were a lot of Pokemons that were flying types in Johto Pokedex. This was going to be a hassle. Axel had to prepare for almost all of them cause typically a gym leader would have all the Pokemons of their typing.
"You will have to follow my commands and it needs to be fast. Sotis, the commands may confuse you as you might not want to do it, you will have to trust on this. I have a lot of experience with it.
Since it is going to be a flying type of Pokemon, all of you will be fighting against Flappy. I know that Flappy is very strong and you cannot defeat it but you need to learn how a flying type Pokemons fight.", said Axel.

The first battle was between Gary the Priape and Flappy the Pidgeot. Of course, Priape lost but it lost too fast. It only took around 2 minutes for Pidgeot to win and it was not even serious.
Of course, it was due to it being a pseudo-king rank Pokemon but Priape didn't have any experience in fighting against a flying type Pokemon.
Next was Aerodactyl. It could last for 3 minutes but it also lost. Finally, it was Togetic.
Togetic could stand for 3-4 minutes and it also lost the battle.
"Aerodactyl, go back to your training. You need to level up 2 moves to level 40 and you have only leveled up one of them. Others, rest for so ti. We are starting the training again.", said Axel.

The training went on for the entire day and all of them were tired. None of them managed to defeat Pidgeot which was obvious but they had started to understand how a typical flying type Pokemons would fight.
Togetic and Aerodactyl were also flying-type Pokemons but they didn't focus on flying-type moves and their battle strategy never contained any flying-type elent.
Fighting against Pidgeot who solely focused on flying type was a different experience for them.
At night, all of them were having a barbecue. Axel was talking to Red about the aura stone. Red seed to have made a lot of progress on it.
"So, I am thinking of challenging Voilet City Gym first. What do you think about it?", asked Axel.
"So, you have finally decided to challenge gyms in the Johto region. Well, I can tell that it would not be easy."
