Axel knew who she was. She walked up to the stage. She was wearing tight blue jeans and a black jacket. She was also wearing a white top. Her mobile phone was on the back of her jeans. She was wearing black heels and she stepped onto the stage. Her long brown hair was waving in the air. She had a beautiful body structure that Axel loved.
She was Katerine/ Kate Zard. The first crush of Axel Blaze.
Axel first t her when he went to buy Gogoat from an auction. At that ti she acted like a secretary and led him to et the man. Now, Axel had seen many beautiful girls in this world, so were even more beautiful than Kate. But for so unknown reason, Axel was attracted towards Kate. He didn't know why.
At that ti he thought that Kate was way older than him, so it would not make any difference to talk to her but it turned out that she was around 18 years old cause if she was not, the Typh family would not have invited her.
"Finally, we have trainers from the Gatr family. They had also selected an outsider and the outsider is quite famous. You might also have heard his na.
Let's welco Garen Gatr and Axel Blaze."
The crowd started to clap and they started to move towards the stage too. Axel looked at Kate and she waved her hand to greet him. It had been a long ti since he had seen her but she looked exactly the sa as before.
"First of all, I want to thank these trainers for participating in the battle tomorrow. May the better trainer win the battle.", said Torrent, and the claps were heard.
"Why are you here Kate?", asked Axel after they got off the stage.
"Oh, so you still rember , Mr. Axel."
"Yes, I do. I am also surprised that you rember ."
"You are very famous now. So, how can I forget you?"
"Yeah right. But you didn't answer my question. Why are you here in a different region working with the Typh family?", asked Axel again.
"Well, I was in the Johto region when it happened. They offered a reward which I liked, so I decided to give it a try. What about you?", said Kate with a smile.
"Your case is similar to mine. I found a mber of Gatr family in a restaurant and then things happened. Now, I am fighting and winning against you tomorrow.", said Axel.
"Are you that confident that you can win against tomorrow?", asked Kate.
"Isn't that obvious?"
"Well, I might be able to give you a big surprise tomorrow. Let the best trainer win.", said Kate with a mysterious smile.
She had her ways to lure Axel. He was confird about that but he would not be lured. He ca here to get a job done and he would complete it.
The banquet went on for quite so ti and it ended at 9 p.m. Axel didn't have any other communication with Kate. He wanted to speak to her but the conditions were not alright. She was from a different team after all.

The next day,
"Welco everyone in the family battle. Today we will get a chance to see an exciting battle between the 3 families. All of you know the rules of the ga but for those who had co here for the first ti, let tell you about it.
The battle would be based on draws. The nas of 2 families would be taken out and they would have a battle.
They can only use 1 Pokemon. It would be a single battle and 4 trainers would participate. The last man standing would win and that team would battle tomorrow with the third family.
Tomorrow's battle would only be between 2 trainers and it would be 3 Pokemon battle.
Now, let's draw the nas of the families."
There was a small bowl and the nas of the families were written on small patches of paper.
"The family that will battle today will be .... ga family and Typh family!!! Let's welco them. Please choose your first trainer within 5 minutes.", said the comntator.
The hype was real. There were other people too that had co to watch this battle. They were interested to see how powerful these families were.
Kate didn't co out at first. The first battle was between Karna and Ro. The battle was only 1 Pokemon battle. It took around 14 minutes but Ro won the battle. However, his Pokemon was also injured from it.
Both of them had used a pseudo-king rank Pokemon. Using a pseudo-king rank Pokemon for a bunch of kids who were under 18 years old was a huge deal. Not everyone was a monster like Axel. Training a Pokemon to pseudo-king rank within 5 years was a great achievent.
The crowd had gone wild after seeing their battle.
Ro decided to fight another battle as it was a last-man-standing battle. If Ro withdrew, he would not be able to battle again. Shelly and Ro did battle and Shelly won after 6 minutes. She had also used a pseudo-king rank Pokemon.
Ro's Pokemon was already tired and injured, so naturally it lost the battle. Finally, Kate took the stage. She also used a pseudo-king rank Pokemon and won the battle after 10 minutes.
The crowd went wild. Kate was already a beautiful girl and there were a lot of male fans who were cheering for her.
Axel was feeling a bit jealous but he didn't mind it. She was not his girlfriend. All the things were in his head. He had not asked her for a date. For the will of Gratina, she might even have a boyfriend. She was just a hot girl. There was a huge chance that she might have a girlfriend.
With all these feelings, how was he going to battle her tomorrow? He was sure that she would be taking the stand and that he would represent Gatr family. These feelings were clouding his judgnt and he didn't like it one bit.

The Next day,
Rabin and Ronny were doing everything to make Axel feel better. They were asking if Axel needed anything for the battle. They wanted him to win. Axel could understand this feeling but he was also in a conundrum. He had to face his crush in the battle.
"Ladies and Gentlen, as you all know the Typh family won the last round and they would be facing Gatr family today. Today's battle would only be between 2 trainers and it would be 3 Pokemon battle.
We don't know who would be participating in this battle but we are guessing that it would be the outsiders who would decide the match.
We all have heard the powers of Axel's Pokemons but his opponent is also not so simple..."
The comntating went on for quite so ti and the battle was finally going to begin.
The comntator first introduced Kate and she walked towards the stadium. She was wearing simple black tight jeans, a jacket with a poke ball sign on the back, and a white shirt. The first button on the white shirt was loosened but her boobs were not visible. This had added to Axel's tension as his concentration was in that area.
"This would be a 3 Pokemon battle. Who is going to win? We will have to find out....", the comntator started to describe the scene.
The trainers could only change the Pokemon after the end of the battle. Axel and Kate were going to use 3 Pokemons for battle. Axel didn't think that Kate would have a king-rank Pokemon. Having a pseudo-king rank Pokemon at the age of 18 was a huge accomplishnt. So, it was very rare to have a king-rank Pokemon at the age of 18.
They did the toss and Axel won. Kate was going to send out her first Pokemon.
"Do you want to have a bet? It is too boring to have a battle without a bet.", asked Axel.
"No, there is a high chance that I am going to lose this battle. So, I don't want to take the risk.", replied Kate.
"Well, you might also win.", said Axel.
Kate didn't reply and send out her first Pokemon.
It was Priape.
It was a pseudo-king rank Pokemon. This was the sa Pokemon, she had used during the last battle. This confird that she didn't have 3 king-rank Pokemons.
"Light, let's do it!!!", shouted Axel as he called Alakazam.
Axel could not use his previous Pokemons in the gym battles, league battles, elite 4 or champion battles. However, he could use them in other situations.
"You are not going easy on , huh.", said Kate.
"I ca here to win. I can't go easy on you just cause we know each other.", said Axel with a smile.
Priape was weak to psychic-type moves and Alakazam was the perfect counter for it.
"Let the battle begin!!!", shouted the referee.
"Priape, use 'Rage bound' and 'Close combat'", shouted Kate.
'Rage bound' must have been a new move that she had taught to Priape. Axel was impressed.
"Light, 'Teleport' and then use 'Confusion'", said Axel.
Priape started to beat its chest and Axel could see that it was very angry. It rushed towards Alakazam to use 'Close combat'. Alakazam teleported at the nick of ti and ca behind Priape. It then used 'Confusion'.
For so reason, Priape was not confused. As it was so angry after using 'Rage bound', it could not be confused but the move did affect Priape.
Alakazam then used 'Telekinesis' and then lifted Priape in the air.
"Now, use thunder spears", said Axel.
Alakazam started to spam spears made of thunder toward Priape. It also used 'Rain dance' and then used 'Thunder' towards Priape. Since Priape was still flying in the air due to 'Telekinesis', it could not dodge the attack.
After being hit by multiple thunder spears and a powerful thunder, Priape fainted. It had lost the battle.
Priape was a pseudo-king-rank Pokemon while Alakazam was a king-rank Pokemon. So, the difference in power was really huge.
"Priape has lost the battle. Kate is requested to send out her next Pokemon in 10 seconds.", said the referee.
"Co out, Charizard!!!!", shouted Kate and threw a master ball in the air. She was from the Zard family so she did have a Charizard. It was natural.
However, Axel was surprised by seeing this Charizard. It was a king-rank Pokemon. Kate was very talented. No wonder, Typh family invited her.
"I know that I would lose to you. You are very strong. You said that you want to make a bet with . Are you still on for it?", asked Kate.
"Yes, I am on. What is the bet?"
"If my Charizard can win against your Charizard, then you will tell how to evolve a Nidorino into Nidoking.", said Kate.
"No, that would be unfair to you.", said Axel shaking his head.
"Why?"
"First of all, my Charizard is vastly stronger than your Charizard. Even if by so luck, you managed to win, which would never happen, you will not benefit by learning the evolution process of Nidoking cause you will not be able to evolve it.
Evolving Nidorino to Nidoking is sothing you cannot do cause the resources needed to do it are almost impossible to find.", said Axel.
