"Finally, why are you not picking up the phone?", asked Axel.
"Ohh, so you finally rembered who I am now?"
"Co on. I was very busy. Where are you right now, K?"
Axel had been ssaging K for the past few days. K had not replied to even one of those ssages. He also called him multiple tis. After calling dozens of tis did K receive the call.
K was angry with Axel for not calling him for the past 6 months. K had given his phone number to Axel hoping that he would contact him. But for the past 6 months, there were no response.
K was also on a journey to beco a strong trainer. He left after Axel.
After talking for so ti, K cald down.
"So, where are you K?"
"I am close to Lavender Town. I have been training my Pokemon a lot."
"Ohh, did you battle any gym yet?"
"No, Pidgeot and Sandslash had already reached rare-rank. However, Priape had still not reached rare rank. How about you? How is Bulbasaur doing? Did it evolve?"
K had caught a number of Pokemon after Axel left. It caught a Mankey, Zubat, Growlithe, and the Venu family had also given him a Bulbasaur.
"You have progressed a lot K. It is good for you. Yes, Bulbasaur had evolved into Ivysaur. How about your Bulbasaur?"
"It also evolved 2 days ago. It had progressed a lot. I have used Everstone theory on Bulbasaur, Zubat, and Growlithe. I want them to be strong. How about you? How many gym badges do you have now?"

Axel's growth had always stunned K. He had thought that he was on par with Axel now but he was wrong.
K seed to be serious about his journey. He had tead up with one of the mbers of the Venu family on this journey. This was a good strategy as 2 were better than 1.
"K can you tell your bank details?", asked Axel.
"Alright. But why do you need it? I have so money I would transfer it to you."
"Axel it is your money. It doesn't seem right to take it from you."
"You can pay back. Training 6 Pokemons is not easy. I know that."
After so ti K was convinced. K had a well-off family. But they were 3 brothers and it took a good amount of money to raise a Pokemon.
K had told his stories and he had exactly caught 6 Pokemons. He wanted to train them to fight for the Kanto Champion. Axel could feel that K was struggling with money.
Axel gave him 200 million Poke dollars and said goodbye. K was shocked by the amount of money.
They talked for so ti and decided to et in Vermilion city after a few days.

"Axel when would you return ho?", asked his mother.
"Maybe after I win the next 3 gym battles."
"It would take a lot of ti."
"No, it won't. I will complete it within 2 months. I promise.", said Axel reassuring his mother.
Slowpoke was happily sleeping next to his uncle. It had a black (monstrous) potential. Axel only wanted the best for his family.
Axel also told his uncle that he should try to teach it new moves after it grows stronger.

Axel hated the flight. If the flight only took so minutes or half an hour, it would be a pleasant experience. However, 12 hours of flight was boring and tiring.
Finally, he reached the place. He booked a hotel near the gym and went to sleep. He was heavily tired from the flight. He also told his Pokemon to take rest and not train till the end of the gym battle. They had worked really hard for the past 2 months. He wanted them to relax for so ti.

Next day,
He woke up and did his daily duties. His gym battle was tomorrow. Giovanni was the second strongest gym leader of the Kanto region for a reason. He was a genius in his own right.
Giovanni being a ground-type gym leader could only use ground-type Pokemons in the battle. There were a lot of ground-type Pokemons in the Kanto region. They were:
Sandslash
Nidoqueen
Nidoking
Dugtrio
Golem
Onix
Marowak
Rhydon
That was a powerful lineup. Giovanni could use any of those Pokemons in the fight. He didn't make a detailed plan for fighting Giovanni. He just chose the lineup of his Pokemons. After battling a lot of trainers and Pokemons, Axel and his team improved their battle powers.
His Pokemon knew what to do in specific situations. He was confident about winning this gym battle.
He strolled around the city. It was one of the biggest cities in the Kanto region. There were a lot of facilities in the city. He went to a lavish restaurant and feed himself and his Pokemons and went to his hotel room.
It was already evening and he wanted to be ntally ready for tomorrow's battle.
After talking with his Pokemons he went to sleep.

"Lily who am I battling tomorrow?", asked a mature voice.
"Sir, there are 2 trainers tomorrow. You might be interested in one of them.", said Lily giving him the file of the trainer.
"Oh, Axel Blaze. The new successor huh!! He already had 2 gym badges. Why did he challenge now? Does he already have an advanced-rank Pokemon?", said the man.
"If he is challenging you then he must have more than 1 advanced-rank Pokemon."
"Yes, this kid had grown strong very fast. His growth is faster than Blue and Red. This is getting interesting.
I want to test this kid. Lily, make the preparations. You know what I an."
"But he is just an advanced rank trainer."
"Just do it."
"Alight sir.", said Lily and went outside the room.
