"This was a team battle. You and Steven were the team leaders on each team. You cannot win a team battle only by training your Pokemon to maximum potential. No matter how genius you are, if you could not capitalize on the power of your team mbers and their Pokemon you would lose the battle.
Who told them to choose their Pokemons that were all weak to ice-type attacks? There was no diversity in their battle play. Moreover, Steven was like a dictator, giving orders. He considered his team as disposable fodder. While you did the opposite. You ca up with multiple strategies to win this battle. If you cannot lead a team properly, how can you be a team leader?
While your Piloswine may not be as powerful as Steven's Aggron, you did all you had to do to win and that is what counts. No one rembers the person who lost, only the one who wins would create history. So, you should give yourself so credit and pat your back on the job well done. Credit should be given when it is due."
Axel smiled when he heard Boris's explanation. He was so hell-bent on being the most powerful trainer that he forget these simple things. He subconsciously puffed his chest realizing that he had won against Steven. This also made him realize the importance of friends.
He had not called K after he went on his journey. He had thought his current team to just be a simple stepping stone. He had been wrong all along.
Since he had co to this world, he had made many connections that would be valuable in the future. He should capitalize on it. His family, the crazies, this current team mber, Oak, blue, and even Venu family. He made a ntal note to make powerful allies if he were to accomplish his dream of being the Pokemon master.

Hoenn team with the explorer were departing today. Before the departure, Axel wanted to et Serena, the young woman he had t near the pond. She was a part of the Hoenn explorer team.
"Oh hello, Mr. Hero. Why the hell are you coming to our place?", asked Alex with a condescending look. He was still in a sour mood after losing the battle.
"I wanted to et Serena and say my goodbye. She had protected in the forest.", said Axel.
"Ohh, looks like Mr. Hero is still in delusion after winning the battle."

"We don't have any Serena in our team."
"How could you not. I have personally talked with her. She is this tall, have black hair....". Axel started to describe Serena but Alex repeatedly told him that such a person do not exist.
Axel was now in a dilemma. If she was not a part of the Hoenn explorer team, then who was she? Axel knew every mber of Kanto explorer team so he was confident that Serena was from Hoenn. No other people were allowed on this island except for them.
Just like his dream and the voice, was he hallucinating with Sarena too?
He didn't know what to say. He went to Boris and asked if there was a possibility that another person from an unknown origin could enter this unknown island.
"That is simply not possible. First of all, it took a lot of ti to find this island. Second, powerful Pokemons of Champion rank are guarding the periters of this island. So, it is simply not possible for other people to enter it without us knowing"

The Kanto team was also leaving this island in the evening. The explorer team would still gather enough data about the island. Axel just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. These dreams, voices and hallucinations started to happen after he ca to this island. He didn't have a good feeling about staying here.

All the people of Kanto had gathered around. It was reward ti. The kanto team was promised 3 rewards. One would be the right to na the island. The second and third were a mystery.
"First of all I want to thank the young Kanto team who made it possible for us to win this island. Let's give them a round of applause.", said Boris.
All of the explorer team started to clap their hands showing their appreciation. Winning this island was a big deal for Kanto. It was an unknown island that was filled with many resources. The island was super big and most of it has still not been explored.
"Now, since the young trainers have done such a good job, they would be rewarded by the league. First, the na of the island.", said Boris directly turning around Axel.
All of his team also turned around to Axel for the na. Axel was the team leader and he was the one who made it possible to win the island.
"The island would be nad, Lumlow Cay"
"And the sa has been decided", said Boris. The explorers started to clap again.
"Now, coming to the second reward. They would be rewarded with 2 billion Poke dollars."
Everyone nodded their head. Axel was happy with this reward.
"Coming to the third and final reward. The Kanto needed this island for many reasons. One of the reasons was its size. It spans 150,000 sq. Km. There is rarely any island that is so big and almost 80% of it is still unexplored. So, for the final reward, the league would give you 5% of the island each."
The whole explorer team was silent after the announcent. Giving a part of the land was a big deal. 5% each ant a total of 25% of the island. So, each would gain 7500 sq. Km of land. 1 sq. Km was 247 acres. So, 7500 sq. Km was 1,853,290 acres.
"The best part of the reward is still to co. The young trainer could choose the land they want after the explorer team had done their full exploration", said Boris with a smile.
