"I think you should also make a recipe for Shedinja" said Oak.

"Shedinja? But it does not eat anything?" said Axel.

"Normally it does not. But your Shedinja could move and you also told that it has muscles and bones. So, why not provide it with a food recipe? It would grow much faster than other Shedinja. That is for sure"

"That is a great idea. It does not hurt to try. Why didn't I ever think about it?" said Axel. If his Shedinja could get a good food recipe then it would develop much faster. Shedinja is a hollow Pokemon so normally it does not eat anything. But his Shedinja can. Axel had never seen it eat before except for absorbing ghost energy from dead Pokemons but Axel was confident that it could also eat.

"But I do not know how to make a recipe for a Pokemon. Could you help out in this?" asked Axel

"I can. I love to do new things and making Shedinja a food recipe could be counted as one. I just have to do a lot of test on it to make sure and I can personally make a food recipe for it. Why don't you stay here for a couple of months? You could train your Pokemons too and I could make recipes for Shedinja and your other Pokemons too."

When he was planning to co here, he had not planned to stay here for long. But now looking at the offer of Pro. Oak he was tempted. He could also learn a lot from Prof. Oak about Pokemon and research. So, he agreed to Prof. Oak's proposal.

"I agree to it Prof. Oak"

"That was a good decision on your part. And just call Oak. I do not like the long nas. However, I have to tell you, I am not going to give you training tips. Being a Pokemon master is a long road but also sothing you have to do it on your own. If I teach you my ways, you would forget yours."

Axel was okay with it. He felt that he was doing well in the training part and didn't need advice on it. But he was a bit disappointed.

"Prof.... Ahh... I an Oak, I have a new theory and I would like it if you could put so light on it" said Axel.

"I said that I would not help you in training your Pokemon but I didn't say anything about the research part. So go ahead"

"What do you think about the move 'hidden power'?" asked Axel.

"There is not much research done on it. One of the prof. Tried to do it but he gave up pretty fast. All I can tell you is it is a move that helps Pokemon use other types of attacks but it is not much effective. If a Bulbasaur uses a fire type attack, its efficiency on fire type attacks would naturally decrease. So, trainers normally do not focus on this move" said Oak

"I think 'Hidden power' has a lot of potentials. You must have heard of Infinity energy right?" asked Axel.

Oak nodded his head.

"I feel that if a Pokemon could freely control the infinity energy, then they can use any type of moves and 'hidden power' is one aspect of it. I feel that like its na, even if a Pokemon, suppose a Bulbasaur has a 'hidden power' of fire, the power still lies dormant in its body. By regularly exercising the power of its 'Hidden power' it could be proficient in it and this may also help it to have a good mastery in manipulating infinity energy" Axel gave his explanation.

"That is an interesting way to think of it. So, what do you need my help for?" asked Oak.

"I do not know how to activate the power of 'hidden power' in a Pokemon. I want your help in that. If I could determine the typing of 'Hidden power' in a Pokemon, it would help trendously" said Axel.

"This is a hard thing to do but not impossible." Replied Oak.

"Really, you could do that?" asked Axel in a surprised voice.

"Axel, how do you think that TM of any move is made?" asked Oak

Axel was silent in this question. He literally had no idea about it.

"If you do not know then let answer that question for you. A TM is made by reverse engineering the move of a Pokemon. Like if a Bulbasaur knows 'razor leaf' then the researcher would reverse engineer it and take that knowledge to make a TM. TM also has many grades but I do not want to go into this for now."

"But 'Hidden power' is a bit different. Its typing is different in every Pokemon. Can it really be done?" asked Axel.

"Kid, let tell you a universal fact. A move, any move would have the sa way of activating even if it is complicated like 'Hidden power'. So, do not worry about it. I could make that TM in a week. I have lots of Pokemons in these lands that know that move. I expect you need a TM with initial mastery. So, a week is enough" said Oak with confidence.

If Prof. Oak was so confident then he had nothing to say. But he requested Oak if he could learn how to make a TM and Oak happily agreed. The reason for Axel to learn it was, that he knew that he was going to make many new moves like 'Resolve' and 'Shadow jump' in the future. So, it would be helpful to learn it. He could sell those TM with hefty money in the future and maybe one of his new team mbers might need it.

So, the first week of Axel in Haerton Fort was spent learning the ways to make a TM. Haerton Fort was the na of Oak's castle. It was quite a unique na. Axel didn't know the aning of it but he didn't ask. He didn't co here for sightseeing, he ca here to beco stronger.
