For now, Axel would like to assu that the hidden power of Shedinja and Beedrill was Psychic.

Normally in gas, 'Calm mind' raises Sp. Attk and Sp. Def. But in the real world, 'Calm mind' had many benefits.

1. First of all, it raises Sp. attk and Sp. def

2. It was like an improved version of 'Focus mind' but in the opposite way. Focus mind helps the user to focus on a particular thing. So, it narrows your direction. But 'Calm mind' was like ditation. It widens your mind.

3. It helps to keep your mind and spirit calm in every situation.

4. And Axel felt that it would also help the Pokemon to control the infinity energy smoothly. This was just a hypothesis of Axel.

"Beedrill, for now, try to improve the mastery of 'Minimize' and 'Calm mind' separately. Improve its mastery until both of them reach Level 10. Then we would continue the exercise."

The reason for that statent was clear. Axel had noticed that when the level of moves mastery increases every 10 levels, the power of those moves increases by quite a leap. However, it was also difficult to increase the moves from level 9 to level 10. It was much easier to increase from level 10 to level 11 but was harder to increase from level 9 to level 10. The sa thing happened for Shedinja when its moves master of 'Hypnosis' increased from level 19 to level 20.

However, the power of level 20 'Hypnosis' was much grander than level 19. Axel felt that level 9, 19, 29 are like bottlenecks that would improve their powers if crossed over.

Ding!

Host has found the hidden function of the system.

The power of the moves takes a major leap every ti it's level increases by 10. The moves have level cap denoted by (lvl max). It ans that the level of the moves could not be increased after that. However, it depends on the species of the pokemon. Like a Beedrill may have harden at (Lvl 10 max) but an onyx does not.

Reward calculating....

Reward Granted

Reward: Categorization of mastery:- From now, the system would categorize the type of mastery in each of host's pokemon's moves. The categorization are:

1. N/A: When a Pokemon first learns the moves

2. Understanding: Next step

3. Competence

4. Good

5. Epic

6. Extre: A Pokemon can only upgrade 2 of its moves to the extre. If a Pokemon upgrades 3 moves to extre then its Pokemon rank would be upgraded to 'God'

"There it is !!!!", shouted Axel in excitent. He had never known any Pokemon to even reach this stage. He has identified w soti before and it was only at the Master level. He expected Arceus to be at God level but never knew how to even reach it. Now he had the answer.

But Axel felt that even upgrading a move to extre level would be a herculean task.

anwhile, Bulbasaur was in full throttle. It would practice battling Nidoran and Charleon. It increases its mastery in other moves like 'Vine whip', 'Substitute', 'Razor leaf' and others. After it was wounded black and blue. It would practice 'Sunny day' and 'Synthesis' for 2-3 hours.

Axel felt that this was the fastest way for Bulbasaur to improve. The effect of Synthesis really shines when it is tired and wounded.

Other Pokemons are also not sitting still.

Shedinja was always a hard worker. For now, it was hell-bent on raising its ghost core mastery to 100%. Nidorino was also doing the sa, while Charleon was also not giving up.

These 3 Pokemons were now capable of training themselves. Axel would only give them direction when needed. Axel felt that the move mastery and stats of Shedinja, Nidorino, and Charleon would need to improve to a certain standard. Only then would he proceed to Stage II which he had already planned for them.

As for the new addition, Magikarp, it was lazy at first but after seeing the team working so hard, it also started to do the sa. It would train in 'Tackle' for 4 hours and 'Splash' for 5 hours. That was a total of 9 hours of rigorous training. Magikarp species always had a hard-working nature as it was discriminated as one of the weakest Pokemon to ever exist. Coupled with just a hard-working teammates, Magikarp would train for 9 hours a day.

Axel noticed that since the regular use of 'Splash', the scales of Magikarp would co out with a little bit of blood in them and would be replaced by other scales the other day.

After continuous in and out of the scales for a month, its new scales were now harder and more shiny as the days progressed.

Axel had a feeling that it would evolve after a month. He was excited to et his Gyarados.

###

Ti Skip, 1 week.

It has been a week and there has been so progress in Axel's team. 'Sunny day' 'Synthesis', 'Tackle' and 'Vine whip' of Bulbasaur have surpassed level 10 and each of them had reached level 14. Both of them had reached 'understanding' level in moves mastery.

The Ghost core of Shedinja had increased to 55% and Nidorino's Poison core had increased to 45%. Both of them had made a good improvent. Shedinja's 'Shadow sneak', and 'Endure' have surpassed level 20. 'Dream eater' had reached Level 20 and 'Agility' had reached level 10.

Nidoran's 'Horn Drill', 'Poison Sting', 'Venom drench' and 'Rest' have surpassed level 10.

Others had also made so improvents.

'Calm mind' and 'Minimize' of Beedrill were on the bottleneck of level 9. So of its stats have improved too.

But none of the Pokemons move mastery was above 'understanding' phase. This showed how hard it was to improve move mastery.

And the important thing was Axel had reached Pewter City as he planned.

He imdiately booked a hotel and called his parents when he reached the city. Then he called the crazies for so update. K was already out on his adventure.

After so small talk, he called Mark and told him his theory about the Hidden Power.
