"If you want to admit defeat, you're still too young!"

Mustard snorted, retrieved his Poké Ball, and recalled Urshifu. Then he threw another ball high into the air—this one was enormous.

Dynamax.

Mustard was activating Dynamax after all.

Chris had thought he was too old to use it anymore.

That's right—unlike ga Evolution, the energy required for Dynamax was distributed throughout the Galar Region, placing minimal burden on the Trainer. Although Mustard was elderly, he still possessed the ability to Dynamax a Pokémon.

The enormous Poké Ball opened, and Gigantamax Urshifu (Rapid Strike Style) erged.

Three red clouds floated above its head, its eyes blazed like lightning, and the black fur covering its body had turned deep blue. It maintained a powerful stance resembling a crane standing on one leg.

As one of the legendary Pokémon that debuted in the Galar Region, Urshifu naturally possessed its own Gigantamax form. Even its Single Strike and Rapid Strike Styles had distinctly different appearances.

"Surging Strikes!" Mustard commanded.

Although his body could still support Urshifu's Dynamax transformation, the duration would be extrely limited.

So far, Chris had only lost Blaziken's fighting capability. If Mustard wanted to sweep through three Pokémon at once, he couldn't afford to delay.

That ant every move had to be decisive!

The signature move of Single Strike Style Urshifu was Wicked Blow, and the signature move of Rapid Strike Style Urshifu was Surging Strikes.

In the gas, Surging Strikes' base power wasn't particularly high, but it possessed the terrifying property of "always hitting" with three consecutive attacks. In reality, that translated to astonishing attack speed and accuracy!

Gigantamax Urshifu (Rapid Strike Style) lowered its head slightly, its lightning-like gaze locked on target. Its two arms, thick as supporting pillars, were already wrapped in flowing water.

Its massive body bent forward, and an overwhelming sense of pressure descended.

Like the heavens themselves falling.

Facing this Gigantamax Urshifu, Chris didn't respond with his own Dynamax.

There was no need. As a native Champion and wielder of a legendary Pokémon from the Galar Region, both Mustard and his ace Urshifu far surpassed Chris and Zeraora in controlling Dynamax energy.

Chris wouldn't do sothing so foolish as to use his weakness against his opponent's strength.

That wasn't a gap that could be bridged even by his more powerful Aura.

Chris extended his hand forward, watching as the attack descended toward Zeraora, and snapped his fingers.

"Teleport!"

The instant Surging Strikes landed, Zeraora vanished into thin air.

"BOOM!!!"

The earth shook violently.

Powerful shockwaves swept across thousands of ters in all directions. Entire groves of trees were sliced in half and toppled over. Waves surged outward from the epicenter of power. Fierce winds howled, the ground trembled, and the beach shattered piece by piece.

It seed as though the entire world was coming to an end.

The situation was even more severe than the earlier collision between Single Strike Style Urshifu and ga Blaziken's ultimate techniques.

Yet this was still the result of Gigantamax Urshifu's extre restraint and power control. Otherwise, this single blow would have been sufficient to destroy the entire Isle of Armor.

The legendary Pokémon's ability to destroy continents or even the world—that truly wasn't re hyperbole.

Zeraora reappeared thousands of ters high in the sky, within the endless dark clouds.

It displayed visible exhaustion.

Except for Chris, no one knew how difficult it had been to evade that strike.

Don't assu that Teleport was invincible.

Every movent of Urshifu contained intense pressure and spiritual force. This montum could be understood as a form of ntal power. When Urshifu attacked, this powerful spiritual energy blocked the surrounding space.

Escaping from such a blockade was extraordinarily difficult.

To accomplish this, Zeraora had fully activated its Heart Network, extending the range of its electromagnetic waves infinitely in all directions.

Finally, it locked onto an area thousands of ters underground—a region not yet blocked by the overwhelming pressure. It used Teleport to reach there, then employed Ally Switch to exchange positions with the dark clouds in the sky, successfully escaping.

Such a complex series of operations had nearly overloaded Zeraora's ntal processing capacity.

Chris looked up at the sky. His Aura power remained constantly connected to Zeraora. After confirming its stamina had recovered, he pulled out a Z-Crystal from his pocket and pressed it onto his Z-Power Ring.

The master had used his ultimate technique—now it was his turn!

"Z-Move: Plasma Fists Overdrive!"

When golden electricity shot from Chris's body toward the sky...

Imdiately, brilliant light flooded heaven and earth.

Like a scorching sun in the sky itself, intense and extre radiance shone down upon the earth from thousands of ters above, turning everything into a vast expanse of white.

When the light dimd slightly, Chris and Mustard could clearly see the source of the illumination.

A massive humanoid figure, approximately one hundred ters tall and composed entirely of white lightning, sat upon the clouds, gazing down upon all living beings with the detached indifference of a Thunder God.

This was the ultimate technique Chris and Zeraora had developed together.

An enhanced version of the Electric-type Z-Move "Gigavolt Havoc," serving as Zeraora's exclusive finishing move.

The source of inspiration was Enel from the One Piece world.

At this point, every bit of inspiration drawn from that character had been completely utilized by Chris.

The "Thunder God" slowly opened its arms, descended from the clouds, and thrust its fist forward with trendous force. The power behind this punch appeared massive—the entire body beca a supporting force behind the strike.

Looking closely, it resembled a pillar of lightning descending from the heavens.

It might not seem different from Zeraora's previous techniques, but those billions of volts were absolutely real!

Watching the "Thunder God descending from the sky," Mustard drew a sharp breath. "What an incredibly powerful move!"

He felt so regret.

"How wonderful it would have been if I were born in the sa era as you."

But when he considered his own combat abilities at Chris's age, he imdiately felt extrely fortunate.

Thank goodness he was born earlier. If he'd been born later and lived in the sa era as Chris, winning even a single Championship would have been difficult, let alone eighteen consecutive titles.

He had to admit that each generation was growing stronger than the last.

In the past there was Leon, and now there was Chris. They were both born to be Trainers!

"But I won't simply surrender!" Mustard shouted powerfully.

"Detect!"

"G-Max Rapid Flow!"

Sensing his Trainer's unyielding will, the eyes of Gigantamax Urshifu blazed like flas. The surrounding water surged violently, and its strength and montum skyrocketed at an incredible rate!

Surging Strikes was the exclusive signature move of Rapid Strike Style Urshifu.

And G-Max Rapid Flow was the exclusive Gigantamax move of Rapid Strike Style Gigantamax Urshifu!
