Flas erupted as ga Blaziken appeared on the battlefield, fla scarves wrapped around its arms while a fierce aura swept across the entire arena.

ga Absol's presence was imdiately compressed and pushed back by the overwhelming energy.

The appearance of two ga Pokemon had elevated the battle atmosphere to its absolute peak before they had even begun fighting.

"ga Blaziken..." Sidney murmured under his breath.

Could it be that Blaziken was Chris's ace Pokemon?

Using a starter Pokemon as one's ace was certainly an unusual battle style.

Well, now it was ace versus ace.

Chris's Blaziken had already fought four consecutive battles, so its stamina should be running low. Sidney felt confident he had the advantage!

"Sword Dance!" Sidney issued his command.

ga Absol remained perfectly still, but a milky white light briefly glowed across its body before fading away.

This display surprised Chris sowhat.

To be able to execute Sword Dance without any visible movent—Absol's mastery of the technique must be incredibly refined to accomplish such a feat.

"Spiral Aura Sphere!" Chris commanded, deciding to test his opponent first when in doubt.

ga Blaziken raised its hand to condense Aura power and quickly launched the attack.

Compared to before its ga Evolution, the Spiral Aura Sphere was now larger and flew significantly faster.

"Slash!" Sidney's counter-command followed imdiately.

ga Absol instantly activated Quick Attack!

Its wings moved slightly as a white streak flashed across the battlefield.

Chris couldn't clearly see its movents—just caught a glimpse of sharp steel as what appeared to be a devastating slash cut through the air!

In the next mont, the Spiral Aura Sphere flying through mid-air was sliced cleanly in half. The two pieces continued flying to the left and right before falling and exploding!

"BOOM!" Black smoke gradually rose from the impacts.

"Impressively sharp technique," was Chris's assessnt of ga Absol.

He had long heard that Sidney's fighting style was "all-out offense," like a berserker, and as his ace Pokemon, Absol served as his sharpest weapon.

Through the smoke, ga Absol burst forth, charging straight at ga Blaziken like an unstoppable force. In what seed like barely a breath's ti, it was already within striking distance!

Chris didn't have ti to issue commands, and ga Blaziken made no defensive moves, simply allowing ga Absol to "strike" it directly.

But strangely, after ga Absol hit ga Blaziken, it imdiately shattered like smoke.

It was Double Team!

"Didn't fall for it?" Sidney wasn't surprised—he still had more tricks up his sleeve.

Five ga Absols suddenly erged from the smoke that hadn't yet dissipated.

The first shadow clone had been ant to bait ga Blaziken's attack and then unleash a Sucker Punch. Since that hadn't worked, it was ti for a coordinated assault.

Multiple attacks in rapid succession.

However, from Chris's perspective, Sidney's Double Team tactic was ultimately futile.

Chris's Pokemon, who primarily fought in close combat, had all learned Mind's Eye and kept it continuously active during battles without needing specific commands.

Mind's Eye could detect all illusions, so Double Team was completely ineffective against ga Blaziken's perception. Even everything ga Absol was doing within the smoke was clearly visible to ga Blaziken's enhanced senses.

"Speaking of Double Team tactics, I'm far more experienced than you." Chris chuckled—this was a perfect opportunity.

"Blaziken, Double Kick!"

ga Blaziken imdiately leaned forward, ignoring the three ga Absols in front of it, and kicked directly at the ga Absol on the left.

"BANG!" There was a solid impact.

But this ga Absol also exploded into smoke—it wasn't the real body, but a Substitute.

The tactic Chris had designed for Greninja, mixing Substitute within Double Team, wasn't particularly difficult or technical. Anyone who understood the concept could replicate it.

It was no surprise that Sidney would employ this strategy.

However, ga Blaziken's move was Double Kick—a two-stage attack!

One kick destroyed the Substitute, and the second kick headed straight for the real ga Absol.

"Night Slash!" Sidney commanded sharply.

ga Absol's eyes imdiately turned pale purple with psychic energy. Its body was quickly enveloped in darkness as it t ga Blaziken's Double Kick head-on.

Just as the two attacks were about to collide, ga Absol seed to have so kind of premonition. It turned slightly sideways, evaded ga Blaziken's kick, then suddenly accelerated forward to strike directly at its chest!

Night Slash was aid at the opponent Pokemon's vital points!

But if ga Absol thought it could hit ga Blaziken this way, it was severely underestimating Chris's ga Blaziken.

With Mind's Eye active, ga Blaziken had complete insight into ga Absol's movents. While ga Absol was dodging and attacking, ga Blaziken raised one hand and launched a point-blank Spiral Aura Sphere.

Strangely enough, ga Absol avoided this attack as well.

The charging montum was a feint, Night Slash was canceled, and it jumped backward while unleashing a Dark Pulse.

ga Blaziken also easily dodged, sidestepping with casual grace.

Both Pokemon returned to stand before their respective trainers, facing each other in a tense standoff.

The scene was rather peculiar.

The two sides had exchanged attacks several tis in rapid succession, but neither ga Blaziken nor ga Absol had managed to land a hit on their opponent.

Both trainers were lost in thought.

What was happening?

"Blaziken can see Absol's movents through Mind's Eye, so how is Absol avoiding Blaziken's attacks?" Chris muttered to himself, then imdiately provided his own answer.

"Future Sight."

The scene reminded him of internal team battles between Blaziken and Gardevoir.

Gardevoir lacked Mind's Eye, but could always predict Blaziken's actions in advance, allowing it to remain untouchable. anwhile, Blaziken and Greninja could dodge and counter Gardevoir's attacks using Mind's Eye, even breaking through Confusion.

That must be what was happening with ga Absol now.

Even though it was a Dark-type, Absol was born with "disaster perception" abilities, giving it the natural foundation to master Future Sight.

However, having Future Sight didn't make it absolutely unbeatable.

As long as Chris could create an attack that even with Future Sight, ga Absol couldn't dodge...

Chris raised his hand and commanded: "Blaziken, use Agility! Then Blaze Kick!"
