The training was coming to a close. With Pupitar's successful evolution into Tyranitar, Ash devoted the final two days of their intense training to challenging wild Pokémon with Tyranitar, Gardevoir, and Priape. However, due to Mount Silver's unique location, Officer Jenny's patrols occasionally swept the area to ensure no disturbances or illegal activity.

This resulted in Team Rocket's trio being apprehended and escorted out of the area. Their antics, it seed, had finally caught up with them.

On the sixth day, Officer Jenny encountered Ash and his friends while patrolling. Upon learning they were rely conducting Pokémon training, she logged their details and left. anwhile, Misty's Marill successfully evolved into an adorable Azumarill, bringing her imnse joy.

Seeing Misty's progress, May's Combusken grew even more determined to evolve. This friendly rivalry pushed everyone to new heights, fostering a competitive yet supportive atmosphere. Starmie's training under wtwo's guidance was also proceeding swiftly, learning new psychic techniques at an impressive pace.

A Serene Night Under the Moonlight

That evening, under the round, luminous moon, Ash, Misty, May, and wtwo lay on the soft grass, enjoying a rare mont of peace. The moonlit tranquility brought a reflective mood, broken only when wtwo spoke to Ash telepathically.

"Ash, I believe those Rocket mbers were targeting . They must have detected my presence after our encounter at Maiden's Peak," wtwo said, its gaze intense yet composed.

Ash activated his Aura power, responding ntally.

"I suspected as much. After I finish my Battle Frontier challenge, I promise to stand by your side and confront them. It's ti we put an end to this, once and for all."

Ash's determined eyes reflected the moonlight, while wtwo's gaze shifted toward a distant horizon, envisioning the face of its adversary—Giovanni.

"They sought out, but they'll find more than they bargained for. This ti, I'll show them what true power is," wtwo vowed.

The last day of training arrived with good news. May excitedly announced her Combusken had finally evolved into Blaziken. With Ash's gifted Charcoal enhancing its fire-type moves, Blaziken's power was formidable, capable of holding its own against gym leaders' Pokémon even at level 36.

Ash smiled at her enthusiasm.

"Congratulations, May. After this training ends, we'll head to Mulberry City for your next Pokémon Contest. You've waited long enough for this."

May's face lit up. "Thanks, Ash! I promise to give it my all. With Blaziken and Kirlia, I'm ready to win this one!"

Ash patted her head with a smile before heading off to train Tyranitar and Gardevoir further. Unfortunately, the local wild Pokémon, wary of the relentless trainer, had started hiding. Nevertheless, Ash pushed forward, determined to reach his goals.

anwhile, Misty and May stayed back, their training paused as they shared a heartfelt conversation.

"Misty, have you thought about what cos next? After Ash completes the Battle Frontier, he'll likely return to Pallet Town. My parents want ho after the Grand Festival… so I…" May's voice trailed off, sadness evident.

Misty was taken aback. "You're leaving too?"

She sighed. Her sisters had recently called, insisting she return to Cerulean City to manage the gym while they dealt with unspecified "important matters." In reality, they had won a luxury world tour and were plotting to trick Misty into taking over their responsibilities.

"Seems like we're all being pulled back to our old lives," Misty murmured.

May hesitated, then blushed. "Misty… you like Ash, don't you?"

Caught off guard, Misty smiled wryly.

"Well, it's not surprising. He's grown into soone special… soone many would fall for."

May, face red, couldn't deny it. Misty sighed, her voice tinged with acceptance. "A guy like Ash is bound to capture many hearts."

The two girls exchanged a look, an unspoken understanding passing between them. Finally, Misty broke the silence.

"If we're leaving, shouldn't we do sothing aningful? I have an idea…"

The two girls leaned closer, whispering their plans. By the end of their discussion, their faces were flushed, but their resolve was clear. They nodded in unison.

"It's decided!"

When Ash returned that evening, the aroma of a delicious dinner greeted him. Misty and May had prepared a al with special care, their expressions warm and welcoming. It was as if they were waiting for sothing—or soone—special.

Unbeknownst to Ash, their hearts had made a choice. What lay ahead would forever remain a cherished mory in their lives.
