The Tree of Beginning…

So that's where Giovanni went—to Caran Palace in the Kanto region?

Ash understood now.

He imdiately sought out Diantha.

"Diantha, things here are finished, but I know where Giovanni is. In our Kanto region, at a place called Caran Palace, there exists the legendary Tree of Creation, also known as the Tree of Beginning. I have to go there at once. I'm leaving this side to you. Please contact Alder of Unova, Cynthia of Sinnoh, Wallace of Hoenn, and Lance of Kanto. Tell them everything. All regions must hunt down the remnants of Team Rocket completely."

Diantha nodded firmly. She understood.

anwhile, Jessie, Jas, and owth ended their cara coverage here—the live stream would go no further.

To the rest of the world, it seed as if the crisis had ended.

The boy with the Legendary partners… had resolved it all.

But Ash had no intention of stopping here.

He returned to his mother Delia and his friends to explain the situation.

"Ash, co ho with us. All your friends are here. I believe in you. We'll be waiting for you at ho."

Though Delia was still shaken by everything that had happened, pride glowed in her eyes. Her son had grown into soone who bore the weight of the world.

Misty, May, Anabel, Sabrina, Dawn, Brock, Lucy, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie—his companions, his closest friends—all stood silent.

None of them tried to stop him.

They simply trusted him.

Ash nodded.

"Hoopa, I need your help. Please take all of us to Kanto."

The small Hoopa floated beside him, smiling brightly.

"Ehehe, leave it to Hoopa!"

Ash recalled all his Pokémon—including his Legendary partners—before turning back to Hoopa.

"And Hoopa, please also return the seven Legendary Pokémon to where they truly belong."

"Of course, Ash. Be careful. If you need , I'll co!"

Hoopa's shadowy power had been cleansed by Arceus' golden light, freeing it from its dark impulses. Now, it had full control of its rings again—though unlike in the original tale, it still couldn't pass through its own dinsional portals.

With everything settled, Ash and his companions vanished into Hoopa's golden ring.

Thus ended the calamity of Kalos.

Ding!

["Congratulations, Host. You have successfully cleared the Kalos Region. A special event has been detected. Sign-in rewards will be distributed once this event concludes!"]

The system chid, its chanical voice echoing in Ash's mind.

When they erged from the portal, Ash and the others stood in Kanto once more.

Kanto and Johto together were often referred to simply as Kanto.

"Moltress, Zapdos—please escort my family ho."

Ash released the two great birds.

Under the warm, steady gaze of Delia and his closest friends, Ash exchanged a silent nod with wtwo.

In the next mont, they teleported away.

"Co, children. Let's go ho. We'll wait for him there. Believe in him."

Delia led the others back, refusing Ash's offer to send them directly. She wanted him to focus on Giovanni without distraction.

anwhile, Ash and wtwo arrived at Caran Palace.

The once grand city stood eerily silent. Not a single person remained.

And there, to the east, at the land of sunrise, lood the largest tree in the world—an awe-inspiring colossus.

This was w's sanctuary.

w—the origin of all Pokémon.

And this great tree, bound to it as one, was called the Tree of Creation. Or more reverently—the Tree of Beginning.

It bore the history of the entire world.

From afar, it looked less like a tree and more like a mountain of bizarre shape, its roots stretching across the land like veins of the earth itself.

And Giovanni was here.

This was his second contingency.

He had already planned it out.

If his first sche failed, then everything he had worked for over decades—his power, his resources, his secrets—would be wasted.

That was unacceptable.

So he had prepared a second move: the Tree of Beginning itself.

For w and the Tree were one.

If the origin of all life was damaged, the balance of the entire world would collapse.

"I've sched for decades, endured for decades… and yet I was undone by that sa boy who once challenged in my Gym."

Giovanni stood atop his Ancient Alakazam, face dark with rage.

"Alakazam! ga Beedrill! Hyper Beam and Pin Missile—fire!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Twin attacks launched straight at the heart of the Tree of Beginning.

Fragile as glass, the tree trembled under the incoming devastation.

But just as the attacks were about to strike, a figure appeared before them.

wtwo.

With a wave of its hand, the Hyper Beam and Pin Missile froze in midair.

Locked in place, powerless to advance.

Giovanni's eyes went wide.

"wtwo! And… Ash!"

His voice twisted with hatred as he dug into his pocket and pressed a hidden button.

This was Giovanni's third contingency.

He never moved without layers of backup.

The mont he discovered the Tree of Beginning, he had ordered his n to plant Team Rocket's newest micro-bombs all around it—each with devastating electromagnetic interference.

One single micro-bomb could cripple the power grid of an entire city.

And he had placed one hundred of them.

As he pressed the button, Giovanni's lips curled into a dark smile—only for his face to freeze in terror.

wtwo's eyes flashed.

Its hand clenched.

And Giovanni vanished into nothingness, erased by psychic wrath.

No trace of him remained.

The feud between wtwo and Giovanni… ended here.

But Ash's expression turned grim.

wtwo felt it too.

At once, it spread its psychic domain wide.

Most of the bombs went silent, neutralized instantly.

But one detonated.

BOOM!!!

Crackling arcs of electricity, mingled with so unknown energy, surged through the Tree of Beginning.

Crack… crack… crack!

The Tree groaned under the assault, fractures spidering across its colossal form.

The Tree of Beginning—was breaking.
