Choosing my favorite Pokémon to be my guardian?
Ash pondered for a mont. He never expected the system's gift pack would include sothing like this.
"The system's hint suggests that in the Pokémon world, organizations like Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua might differ from how they are portrayed in the ani."
Ash thought for a long ti; up until now, he had traveled through Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. Among those with special status, there should be Groudon, Kyogre, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and w, which is also considered to have a special status as the ancestor of all Pokémon.
"Since that's the case, there's only one best target left, and that guy is indeed very strong."
Ash made his decision. However, since he didn't know how the guardian would appear, he chose not to activate it just yet.
The ship's horn blared as it traveled for a good half of the day.
Ash also had plans for his next journey. They were nearing Ancient Town (so random town). After a long half-day, they finally arrived at Ancient Town.
The four of them didn't say a word, as they were already prepared.
Next, they would have their last al together before parting ways in Ancient Town.
Three of them felt rather heavy-hearted, while only Max didn't show as much intensity, knowing a bit about what would happen next.
"Finally, we've made it here."
In a forest, there was a perfect spot for lunch.
Ash saw it and imdiately thought they would choose to start preparing lunch there.
"Let's have lunch over there in the clearing!"
Sure enough, they quickly got busy.
"Super Nanny" Brock also began to show off his culinary skills.
Ash felt a surge of excitent; it was said that Brock was a fantastic cook, and this ti, he really looked forward to it!
Half an hour later, everything was ready.
A delicious aroma wafted through the air. Max and May were ready to dig in, while Ash stayed alert. If he rembered correctly, the next mont, May's Munchlax would suddenly appear and try to steal food.
Sure enough, just as Brock brought over the prepared rice balls, a Poké Ball opened nearby, and a shadow lunged toward Brock's food.
"Munchlax!"
Munchlax had indeed appeared!
"Ah! Munchlax is out!"
Max clearly understood what Munchlax was after.
May frantically tried to recall Munchlax but found it had already pounced on the rice balls!
Ash had already moved the rice balls out of the way!
"Good thing I reacted quickly, haha! Max, I think Munchlax is hungry too, hurry and get it so food!"
At that mont, Munchlax's stomach let out a loud rumble…
Ash burst into laughter. Because of this little incident, the mood among Max, May, and Brock lightened significantly as they prepared to part ways.
Taking a bite of the rice ball and sipping on the specially crafted soup, it was tender and delicious!
Ash felt like his taste buds were exploding!
No wonder they called Brock the "Super Nanny!"
The flavor was absolutely amazing!
After lunch, they cleaned up, and ahead of them was a fork in the road, the mont of parting.
To the left was the path that May and Max would take to return ho, while Ash and Brock would head to the right.
May, being a lovely girl, was already battling her feelings internally.
Ash had co to know many things about her; her feelings for him were special.
They were not like her childhood rival, but more of a combination of ntor and friend.
It was even impossible to say there were no romantic feelings for Ash at all!
But she also knew that Ash was a big block of wood.
May and Max waved goodbye to Ash and Brock and stepped onto the left path.
"Co on, Ash, after traveling together for so long, don't you have anything you want to say to ?"
As May walked with her brother Max, she secretly hoped that Ash would say sothing.
"May…"
Ash was no longer the sa Ash as before; naturally, he wouldn't let May just leave like that.
Sure enough, as he called her na, May imdiately stopped in her tracks.
"Tap tap tap…"
The sound of Ash's approaching footsteps grew closer.
As the footsteps got nearer, May felt increasingly nervous.
She turned around, and so did Max.
Brock watched as Ash stepped forward.
Suddenly, Ash hugged May tightly.
"May, I feel very happy traveling with you. Being with you brings joy. After you return, don't forget to co to Pallet Town to visit . I plan to challenge the Battle Frontier in Kanto next, and there are also Grand Contests in Kanto. If possible, I'd like to invite you to travel with in Kanto. I'll be waiting for you."
