Charizard flew beside them, fending off shockwaves from the battle above.
A stray energy slash shot toward them!
Charizard roared, crossing its claws and slashing forward with Dragon Claw!
The impact sent it tumbling backward, but its fighting spirit only burned stronger!
The pressure of the battle ignited its latent power—its level, stuck at 79 for so long, finally broke past the threshold to 80!
Its experience had long been sufficient for a breakthrough, but the mont had never co—until now.
