Thunder rumbled, and a bolt of lightning split the sky, illuminating the cetery in a flash.

The howling wind raged as torrential rain poured down. Just over ten ters in front of Ryuuske stood a slender, graceful figure.

Her flowing hair bore a faint hint of lavender, and her straight bangs perfectly complented her beautiful yet icy countenance. Sabrina stood there, hovering about ten centiters above the ground, arms crossed over her chest. Her cold, alluring eyes were just as indifferent as when they first t. A long coat concealed her enviable figure, save for the black stockings between her thigh-high boots and short skirt—exuding a lethally feminine charm.

Thigh-high boots, black stockings, and the frigid, queen-like deanor—this combination was practically so n's ultimate fantasy.

"Miss Sabrina?!"

Ryuuske couldn't help but exclaim. He never expected to see Sabrina in the cetery outside Lavender Town.

Sabrina clearly hadn't anticipated running into Ryuuske here either. A flicker of surprise crossed her face before she swiftly turned her gaze to Draganoir—or more precisely, to the energy gathering in Draganoir's slightly parted mouth.

The air beside Sabrina twisted, and her main Pokémon, Alakazam, appeared beside her. It seed Alakazam had been concealing itself earlier by bending light with its psychic powers. Ryuuske gave a wry smile, realizing Sabrina had misunderstood. With a thought, Draganoir imdiately understood his intent and dispersed the energy in its mouth.

"Misunderstanding, misunderstanding! You know how it is, Miss Sabrina—this is a cetery, and Lavender Town has way too many creepy urban legends. Seeing a woman floating above the ground in the middle of a storm, anyone would think of sothing... supernatural, right?"

Ryuuske waved his hands dismissively.

Sabrina nearly laughed in anger. What was that supposed to an? Was he calling her a ghost?

Though, with her eerily beautiful long hair and the way she moved, she did resemble one.

Upon seeing Ryuuske, Sabrina's emotions surged. Her usually icy, unshakable heart inexplicably began to stir. No matter who she faced, Sabrina always maintained a frosty deanor—yet now, her eyes unconsciously burned with fury and hatred as she stared at him.

But in stark contrast to her outward appearance, her body betrayed her. As a psychic, Sabrina valued her consciousness and spirit far more than her physical form. She lived in her own ntal world—a pristine sanctuary untouched by the outside.

She could endure physical harm, but she would never forgive the defilent of her inner world.

And Ryuuske was precisely the one who had defiled it, leaving an indelible mark on her psyche. Sabrina was skilled at using her psychic powers to control and obliterate others, but when her mind was wounded, the scars ran far deeper and were far harder to heal.

The mont she saw Ryuuske, bizarre and chaotic images flooded her mind—scenes from those three days and nights in the psychic realm, etched into her soul, unforgettable.

Her body trembled, her legs inexplicably weak. A rush of blood colored her pale cheeks, and a feverish heat spread through her, as if she'd fallen into a scalding hot spring—both pleasurable and unbearable. The most unbearable was the strange sensation in her most private area, filling her with sha and fury.

Sabrina wanted to kill Ryuuske outright. But she knew that even if she did, the scars in her mind would remain. Worse, by killing him, she might never overco this psychological trauma, dood to rember him for the rest of her life.

So instead, she wanted to capture him. To make him feel powerless, desperate, begging on his knees. Perhaps only by tornting the one responsible could Sabrina erge victorious over her own mind.

"Miss Sabrina, are you okay? Your face is so red—are you sick?"

Though Ryuuske didn't realize the extent of Sabrina's psychological wounds, his own psychic abilities gave him a rough idea of her state. He teased her deliberately, just to provoke her.

Facing Sabrina alone no longer intimidated him. After surviving so many dangers, she alone couldn't push him into a corner—which was why his boldness had grown.

"You—"

Sabrina's emotions churned even more violently. A single sentence from him had stirred her so deeply that, for a mont, she even felt fear.

But Sabrina had once conquered her fear of psychic power itself. Her ntal resilience was formidable—utterly unlike the fragile psyche of Caitlin. Taking a deep breath, she forced herself back into her usual icy deanor. Only by maintaining this facade could she calm herself.

Only her eyes—filled with a contradictory mix of hatred and sha—betrayed the effort it took to remain composed.

"eting in a place like this… Miss Sabrina, we really must be fated, huh?"

Ryuuske glanced around. Pity the setting wasn't more romantic—instead, it was a storm-battered cetery. Their "fate" was downright eerie.

Truth be told, Ryuuske did feel a twinge of guilt toward Sabrina. She valued her ntal world above all else, and in that psychic realm, he had toyed with her rcilessly. For her, it wasn't just the fury of losing her "first ti"—it was utter humiliation.

In that world, she had been reduced to a slave of desire, his slave. Even after breaking free, the sha would never fade.

The fact that she hadn't been completely broken by it was a testant to her strength.

"I want no such fate with you."

Sabrina lowered her gaze, afraid she'd attack if she looked at him any longer. One hand clutched a Poké Ball, her grip tightening and loosening as she fought the urge to throw it.

She knew all too well that this man was as slippery as an eel. Alone, she could no longer trap him—and worse, she might even lose again. If she fell to him a second ti, she feared she'd truly break.

She no longer saw Ryuuske as just so lucky boy who'd obtained wtwo. To her, he was a genuine rival—a man to be taken seriously.

So, she needed to create a situation where escape was impossible. Only then could she settle their tangled web of grudges and… whatever else lay between them.

This wasn't so far-fetched fantasy. If she followed Boss Sakaki's plan step by step, that day would co soon.

"How can you say that, Miss Sabrina? Look—this 'Spoon of Fate' is pointing straight at you! Proof that we're bound by destiny!"

Ryuuske grinned, holding up a bent spoon. It curved at a ninety-degree angle, unerringly aid at Sabrina. Of course, this wasn't actually her psychic ability—he'd just warped it with his own powers.

"Speaking of which… I've already recorded your fate. No matter where you run, even to the ends of the earth, as long as you're in this world, you can't escape my sight."

Sabrina smirked, flipping her palm up. A spoon hovered above it, similarly bent and pointing directly at Ryuuske. As she said, her "Spoon of Fate" would forever reveal his location.

Ryuuske's breath hitched. He really was bound to Sabrina now.

"Guess this is what they call 'a thread of fate spans a thousand miles,' huh?"

He let out a bitter laugh.
