Chapter 851: The Scenes Inside Space-ti Rift
At the exact mont those mysterious creatures opened their eyes—also the instant Gallade carried Terrance and used Teleport—a powerful aura crossed ti and space, causing Gallade and Terrance’s pupils to contract sharply.
They were being attacked.
The next mont after realizing this, Terrance scread. Accompanied by the agony of his consciousness being torn apart, he nearly lost consciousness amid the chaos.
In a panic, Gallade tightened its hold around Terrance and the Rotom Pokédex. It could feel that its Teleport had been interfered with, causing them to be sent to a bizarre place.
When Terrance opened his eyes, his mind was still hazy. The tearing sensation all over his body felt as if it were tearing him apart, causing him unbearable pain. He could only clench his teeth tightly, striving to assess the situation.
Under this intense pain, Terrance was drenched in sweat as his ditation thod began circulating, trying to restore his consciousness. Finally, as ti passed, Terrance slowly sensed a trace of a familiar aura.
"A space-ti passage!"
Realizing this possibility, Terrance cried out in pain again, his bloodshot eyes looking at the chaotic surroundings. No... it shouldn’t be called a space-ti passage. This was a space-ti rift.
"Gall~ade!!"
At the sa ti, Gallade’s expression grew grave. A Teleport malfunction leading into a space-ti rift should have been impossible, but...
Yet it had undeniably happened. Gallade could also feel the tearing sensation caused by being within the rift, though as a Pokémon, it was less severe than what Terrance was experiencing.
Escape out of here with Terrance!!
That was the only thought left in Gallade’s mind. Gazing at the shattered space around them, Gallade used Teleport once more.
But...
Teleport seed to have failed entirely, leaving them unable to escape this hellish place.
"We have to find the coordinates of the original space-ti. This place has already separated from it," Terrance said, forcing himself to endure the pain.
He had experience traveling through ti and space with Celebi, so he had so understanding of this. It was precisely because of that experience that he could recognize where they were.
Back then, with Celebi guiding him, Terrance hadn’t felt this kind of pain at all. Now, he could only be described as utterly miserable.
"Use that," Terrance shouted quickly, grabbing the Key Stone around his neck. Understanding his aning, Gallade imdiately nodded and began ga Evolving within the chaotic space-ti rift.
Terrance didn’t know whether it would work—he was gambling. Fortunately, Gallade successfully ga Evolved. What was strange, however, was that within this chaotic rift, there was no light of evolution at all; Gallade simply entered its ga form directly.
At this point, Terrance couldn’t afford to care about that. The next instant, the Fairy Mark appeared as he attempted to establish a close connection with Gardevoir from the original space-ti.
"I have to find it..."
Terrance was truly panicking now. If they couldn’t find the coordinates of the original space-ti, they were finished.
Relying on this thod was the best solution Terrance could think of in such a short ti. Forcing himself to co up with it while enduring the tearing pain made his head feel as though it were about to explode.
"Gall~ade!!"
Because of ga Evolution, Gallade and Terrance achieved Telepathy through their bond, allowing them to clearly sense each other’s emotions.
Feeling Terrance’s anxiety, Gallade was extrely tense as well.
"This space-ti rift is seriously screwing us over."
Terrance grimaced. This place was absolutely nothing like the space-ti passage Celebi had taken him through before.
Through the mirror-like, shattered space, Terrance could even see scenes from other tilines.
He saw a calm, composed man who wielded Groudon’s power to nearly evaporate the world’s oceans, rapidly expanding the landmass of the entire planet.
In that world, the man in red revealed a rcilessly cold side, leading his subordinates in brutal battles against countless powerful Trainers and Pokémon. At that point, the scene abruptly ended.
Terrance also saw a figure who controlled Kyogre, full of humanity, passionately addressing his followers upon the ocean. In that world, countless mainlands were swallowed by the sea, torrential rain poured across the world and the ocean—the source of all life—expanded to an unparalleled extent.
Above the seas, this man displayed overwhelming power, crushing everyone who tried to stop him.
By the ti he saw this, Terrance’s expression had already beco extrely complicated.
Yet there were even more scenes that left Terrance utterly shocked.
There was a bizarre dinsion, seemingly devoid of life, where countless humans moved like walking corpses, soulless and hollow. In that world, a middle-aged man with blue hair and blue eyes used technology to control Dialga and Palkia, standing high above all as though he were a god of the world.
There was also another world, where a gentleman with gray-green hair walked across the land of Unova, subduing the two Legendary Pokémon Zekrom and Reshiram, then forcibly stripping other humans of the right to capture Pokémon, attempting to control the world through dictatorship...
"What are all these...?"
Finally, when he saw a tall man with orange hair borrowing the power of the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal to fight a powerful Trainer over so mysterious weapon—triggering a great battle that shook the entire Kalos region—Terrance was completely stunned.
He even forgot about finding the coordinates of the original space-ti, becoming imrsed in the strangeness of these other tilines.
"Are those... all parallel worlds?"
Those devastated worlds, those powerful Trainers, delivered a trendous shock to Terrance’s soul.
He had once been to a tiline where he did not exist, where many places had undergone subtle changes, but the vastly divergent parallel worlds he was now seeing... what exactly was going on?
In a sudden jolt of dread, the Fairy Mark sent out a call. Terrance’s consciousness was projected into a familiar rift-like scene, where he saw a Gardevoir constantly traversing a desert.
"Gallade, that’s the place!"
After establishing a cross-temporal connection with Gardevoir, Terrance shouted. Gallade, aided by the intense bond brought about by ga Evolution, also indirectly sensed the connection between Gardevoir and Terrance, and unleashed every ounce of its strength, using the most energy-consuming Teleport it had ever perford!
The chaotic space looked like a shattered mirror. Countless cracks drifted past Terrance and Gallade, making them feel extrely uncomfortable. There was no sky or land, only endless nothingness. The oppressive sensation made Terrance swear that he would never use Teleport recklessly again.
After experiencing sothing this terrifying once, Terrance have had enough.
And just as ga Gallade carried Terrance across the space-ti rift back to their original tiline, countless bizarre creatures dwelling within the rift were collectively shocked, nurous gazes converging on Terrance and Gallade as they traversed the space-ti passage.
Creatures that had accidentally entered a space-ti rift and still managed to return safely—this was sothing they had never seen before.
After an unknown amount of ti, in the Hoenn region, Terrance, Gallade, and the Rotom Pokédex suddenly fell from the sky, crashing down into a desolate desert.
