Night faded away and dawn arrived, yet people were still imrsed in last night’s fireworks display…

In truth, this fireworks display created by Terrance’s Pokémon could indeed be called one of a kind, unparalleled in the world.

Unlike the usual ignition-based fireworks, fireworks ford by Pokémon moves were far more varied and far more spectacular in their effects!

Of course, this was not sothing just any Pokémon or any Trainer could accomplish.

Who was Terrance?

A Contest Master, a Top Trainer!

Who would be qualified to have Pokémon of such a high-level figure spend four full hours putting on a fireworks performance with all their might?

No one would ever do that.

Only Terrance, bored out of his mind, would co up with such an idea, but for the developnt of Fallarbor Town, it was worth it. The fireworks videos spreading everywhere were proof enough. Unknowingly, this fireworks festival had produced a series of unforeseeable effects, and Terrance was certain they were positive ones.

In the early morning, Roxanne, the Gym Leader of Rustboro City, walked through the crowd. Looking at the massive stage erected in the center of town, she pursed her lips slightly.

She had co partly for sightseeing, and partly to et Terrance, an old friend with whom she was not particularly close. When Roxanne saw the stage, she let out a soft breath and thought to herself, “Terrance really can draw attention.”

Indeed, many well-known Trainers and famous Coordinators had appeared in Fallarbor Town, including representatives from various major corporations who had co specifically to attend this opening ceremony.

Compared to the opening ceremony of Fallarbor Gym, the opening ceremony of the Scenic Area was larger in scale and even more grand!

There was another difference as well: Terrance’s status was no longer what it had been back then. For congratulatory gifts sent by companies he wasn’t very familiar with, there was no need for Terrance to personally receive them; he had far more important matters to attend to.

Sowhere in Fallarbor Town.

Albus and Fujiki had arrived in Fallarbor Town at so unknown point.

The two of them did not go looking for Terrance. Instead, they treated themselves as ordinary tourists, appreciating the changes in Fallarbor Town from a different perspective.

“That b*stard actually didn’t send

an invitation,” Albus said angrily as the thought crossed his mind.

“He sent it to , isn’t it the sa?” Fujiki asked in surprise.

“How could it be the sa? He still treats

like a vegetable!”

“Well… judging from the wording of the invitation I received, he does indeed still think you’re sick,” Fujiki said with a laugh, shaking her head.

At the sa ti, Terrance was receiving a heavyweight guest.

The Hoenn Champion, Steven.

Inside Fallarbor Gym, Steven and Terrance sat facing each other. Seeing the changes in Terrance, Steven smiled slightly and said, “Looks like you’ve finally made your decision.”

“Yeah. I’d have to face it sooner or later, might as well experience it as early as possible while I’m still young,” Terrance said with a smile.

“Speaking of the Elite Four position…” Steven began slowly. “Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia, and Drake are all far from simple Trainers. You’ll need to be careful.”

“Those powerful opponents can wait until later,” Terrance said, waving his hand. Before them, there were still countless strong Trainers waiting for him—such as Mr. Norman of the Petalburg Gym, a man who was in no way inferior to Hoenn’s current Elite Four and was known as the most powerful Trainer in Hoenn. From this alone, it was clear that Terrance’s opponents were not limited to the Elite Four; even below them, there were still many formidable figures standing in his way.

“That’s true. You can make good use of the ti before challenging the Elite Four. The Champion League’s format allows you to face off against a large portion of Hoenn’s veteran Trainers and Top Trainers, which will be a huge help in improving your real combat experience. I suggest that before facing the very strongest Trainers, you use them to hone those Pokémon of yours that still can’t quite stand on their own,” Steven said.

“That’s exactly what I was thinking.”

As one of the higher-ups in the Contest Committee, Devon naturally had ties with the Pokémon Contest faction as well. Since Terrance would be challenging the Elite Four position before Wallace, Steven would represent Devon in providing assistance to Terrance.

Before even challenging the Champion League, he already had a Champion-level Trainer offering guidance; very few people could ever enjoy such treatnt.

Steven and Terrance talked at length about the Champion League, the Elite Four Challenge Competition, and even the Champion match. None of this was unfamiliar to Terrance; he had long learned about it through various channels. Still, hearing it directly from Steven, a Trainer who had personally gone through the entire process, allowed Terrance to pick up many valuable details.

“It’s about ti.”

“It should be ti for the Fallarbor Scenic Area to open, right?” Steven said expectantly. “I read the brochure and I’m very curious about that guardian deity of Fallarbor Town. Don’t disappoint .”

“Don’t worry. It’ll definitely leave the entire Hoenn…no, the entire world, stunned.” Terrance laughed heartily, waved his hand, and took the lead in leaving the room.

Unlike the Gym opening ceremony, Terrance had kept a very low profile during the opening of the Fallarbor Scenic Area and had barely shown himself so far. However, for the upcoming opening ceremony, Terrance—the Gym Leader of Fallarbor Gym and currently the most influential figure in Fallarbor Town—had no choice but to appear.

Under the gaze of countless eyes, Terrance stepped onto the massive stage built in the center of Fallarbor Town under Officer Jenny’s protection.

At the sa ti, the attention of all the tourists converged on Terrance.

“So imposing,” those who knew Terrance chuckled. Seeing the solemn look on his face felt strangely amusing.

“Next, Mr. Terrance, the Gym Leader of Fallarbor Gym, will introduce the Fallarbor Scenic Area.”

On the stage, Nurse Joy, who had been hosting the previous series of events, handed the microphone to Terrance and then smiled as she stepped back.

What Terrance had to say was naturally a prepared speech… The content was nothing more than an introduction to the layout planning of the Fallarbor Scenic Area, the significance of its construction, future expectations, and its practical value.

He also expressed thanks to everyone who had contributed to the Fallarbor Scenic Area, such as the ecological research team led by June Joy, the Devon Corporation that provided financial investnt, and the Contest Committee…

Once he started speaking, it seed endless. Terrance himself hated long-winded speeches, but after standing in this position, he realized that so things simply couldn’t be avoided and had to be addressed comprehensively.

Although the tourists hadn’t co specifically to listen to Terrance’s speech, Fallarbor Town itself gave them a sense of novelty. As this was the first ti they were hearing such a fresh and unusual presentation, no one showed signs of impatience—especially since Terrance mixed in quite a few secrets of the Fallarbor Scenic Area, barely managing to hold the audience’s restless attention.

“All right, I’ve said quite a lot already…” Terrance cleared his throat, feeling thoroughly exhausted himself. After all, he had morized the entire speech rather than reading it off a script.

“Next cos the part everyone has been waiting for. After the opening ceremony of the Fallarbor Scenic Area, you’ll experience the first major spectacle, the Flower Sea Performance!!”

Terrance smiled slightly. “Everyone can head to the different flower fields according to the instructions in the brochure. Different flower fields will feature different performances. And for those who miss out, don’t worry, these performances will reappear in the future.”

“However, before the Flower Sea Performance begins, those who wish to participate in the Bug-type tournant can already head to the Pokémon Contest Hall to register. The Bug-type tournant will begin after all the other activities conclude, and everyone is welco to co and watch it as well.”

As Terrance finished speaking, the crowd stirred, lively discussions breaking out everywhere. Taking advantage of the mont, Terrance imdiately left the area.

After listening to Terrance’s speech, a great many visitors wanted to sign up for the Bug-type tournant. After all, there were plenty of Trainers and Coordinators present who had Bug-type Pokémon, and the rewards for the Bug-type tournant were extrely tempting. As a result, a sizable crowd quickly began pushing toward the Pokémon Contest Hall.

Although there were many people, Officer Jenny and the police officers maintained order perfectly. The movent of the crowd did not cause any major disturbance. It was worth noting that most people were actually heading toward the various flower fields, planning to secure good spots and wait for the Flower Sea Performance.

And just as Terrance returned to Fallarbor Gym, a startling scene appeared. From the distant Fallarbor Woods ca waves of restless noise, drawing the attention of the tourists in Fallarbor Town.

“That direction is… the Fallarbor Woods Scenic Area ntioned in the brochure?”

As the tourists lifted their heads and looked that way, their eyes imdiately widened. Hundreds—no, thousands—of Beautifly and Dustox burst out from the forest, forming a vast, overwhelming shadow as they flew toward Fallarbor Town like a Bug-type army!

“No wonder we barely saw any Bug-type Pokémon today, so they were all over there…” a tourist said, covering their mouth as they stared at the scene in shock.
