Chapter 729: Erasing mories
After driving back Gallade, Archer began issuing orders to his subordinates.
“Don’t worry about , block wtwo’s movents first.”
As the Haze gathered once again around him, Archer’s expression grew increasingly cold.
Casting a murderous glance toward Terrance, Archer felt a heavy weight settle in his heart.
wtwo—this ti, the target was mainly wtwo, not the troubleso Trainer before him. If they couldn’t restrain wtwo, their side would be at an even greater disadvantage.
Under the influence of the Z-Waves, countless layers of energy suppressing wtwo’s power flew in like chains. Faced with Team Rocket’s technological weaponry, wtwo naturally regarded it with disdain.
“Is this all you’ve got?”
After spending so ti observing and seeing through the essence of the electric waves, wtwo let out a cold snort. It swiftly calculated the most effective counterasure; under its control, psychic energy gathered into a transparent shield.
“Magic Coat!!”
The impact of the Z-Waves seed to serve as nourishnt for wtwo’s Magic Coat, making the transparent shield radiate with dazzling power.
“Now, taste your own dicine.”
Once the Magic Coat had absorbed enough power, wtwo’s icy telepathic voice echoed in the minds of every Team Rocket mber.
The next mont, the Magic Coat reflected the endless barrage of psychic beams, transforming them into countless sharp spikes that shot toward the helicopters in the sky like a hail of arrows!!
“Too bad, you still underestimated how fast wtwo can improve.”
Seeing wtwo figure out how to counter the electric waves, Terrance looked mockingly at Team Rocket’s small-ti boss, Archer, and snapped his fingers.
He would break the Haze domain through sheer power.
ga Altaria descended in an instant!
Fairy energy filled the sky, bursting into countless light beams, denser and more powerful than the psychic spikes reflected by wtwo, and began sweeping toward the haze domain created by Archer’s Pokémon!
Almost instantly, the strange Haze technique sustained by Crobat and Weezing through various ans was pierced by Dazzling Gleam. The two Pokémon caught within it had no power to resist and were struck down by ga Altaria.
In the next second, ga Gallade soared forward, finishing them off with a decisive strike—an absolute knockout!
“How is that possible—”
Archer’s face froze in shock. Even a Top Trainer would find it nearly impossible to dispel the haze domain created by his two Pokémon in such a short ti. ??Α????В????
Yet this Pokémon just like Altaria had effortlessly shattered the haze domain and completely overpowered both Crobat and Weezing!
“Our opponent is a Top Trainer, the plan’s gone wrong!!”
Archer’s pupils shrank in disbelief, his heart growing cold. Terrance was only fifteen or sixteen years old, yet possessed such overwhelming strength. It was beyond comprehension.
To break his haze domain through sheer force alone, even an Elite Four’s main Pokemon would struggle to do that. Could it be that this Pokémon had already reached the level of a Champion?
“Who is he—” was the only thought left in Archer’s mind before he was swallowed by a surge of psychic power.
On Terrance’s side, Altaria, Castform, Gallade, and Mismagius all began to display their strength. As wtwo used its psychic power to seize control of every helicopter, the four Pokémon joined in the final assault against the Team Rocket mbers, ensuring that not a single one escaped.
This group of Team Rocket mbers was unexpectedly weak; the only one with passable strength was Archer. However, even he was clearly outmatched when facing Terrance’s side.
If a few ordinary investigators had been sent here instead, they would probably be smiling bitterly. Unless the League dispatched an Elite Four mber, subduing Archer would have been nearly impossible. The remaining Team Rocket grunts were all battle-hardened elite Trainers, full of tricks. If not for encountering a monster like wtwo, any police force would have been in serious trouble.
These Team Rocket mbers, whom Terrance called “grunts,” could only rely on those special electric waves to resist wtwo. But once wtwo neutralized the electric waves, they completely lost any ans of fighting back.
wtwo’s imnse psychic power was so strong that, focused on a single point, it could instantly crush and blast apart a helicopter. Once wtwo could no longer be restrained, the opposing side was practically already dead. If Terrance hadn’t spoken at the last mont, wtwo might really have annihilated every one of them.
Led by Archer, all thirty-six Team Rocket mbers were bound by tangible shackles ford from wtwo’s psychic power, utterly powerless to resist.
Looking down coldly at the captured Team Rocket mbers, wtwo’s telepathic voice echoed: “You should be grateful that I made a decision earlier, not to kill anyone for now.”
“And you, tell , why did you ask
to spare them?”
Although wtwo had cald down sowhat after the joint efforts of both Terrance and w, deciding to temporarily seek the aning of its existence, its attitude toward Terrance was still far from friendly.
However, compared to the beginning, wtwo’s attitude toward him had improved considerably.
Perhaps that was partly because Terrance had stepped in to help it fight Team Rocket.
“Do you rember the photo I showed you before?” Terrance asked. “If I’m not mistaken, the person in that photo has their freedom being restricted by Team Rocket. I want to see if we can get any useful clues from these people.”
Although Terrance knew the chances were slim, he still didn’t want to give up any possible lead.
However, after Mismagius perford a brief Hypnosis, Terrance regretfully discovered that none of them knew anything about Master Victor’s whereabouts.
Helpless, Terrance could only accept the reality.
“By the way, wtwo,” Terrance suddenly said, “it’s better not to let too many people know about what happened here. This incident involves too many things…”
“You don’t need to remind ,” wtwo replied telepathically: “I will erase all their mories of this entire period and restore them to the ti before they received the invitation.”
Hearing that, Terrance was montarily stunned.
wtwo moved with incredible speed. In the next mont, Ash and his friends—who were hiding far away during the fierce battle between Altaria and wtwo—were suddenly enveloped by a mysterious power. Under the hypnosis of that strange power, it felt as though they had forgotten sothing, their minds growing hazy and drowsy.
“Wait for .”
The telepathic voice echoed in Terrance’s mind, causing him to look with so surprise at wtwo, who was flying toward Leafport City, carrying all the humans and Pokémon from New Island except for Terrance’s own Pokémon and w.
It seed that wtwo intended to minimize the impact of this incident through large-scale mory erasure. Although a few traces might remain, with nearly everyone involved having their mories wiped, only a small number of people, including Team Rocket, would still know of wtwo’s existence.
“w? w?”
As Altaria and Gallade withdrew from their ga Evolution states, w, who had been watching the spectacle the whole ti, fluttered back over and began circling the two Pokémon.
“With your power, it should be easy for you to mimic ga Evolution, right?”
Terrance said with a smile, gazing at w, which was hailed as a Mythical Pokémon. He had just witnessed w’s strength, which could absolutely be described as terrifying. There was no way he would believe that a being like this couldn’t harness its own life energy.
“w~~ w.” w nodded, a look of curiosity lighting up its face, and Terrance suddenly felt a pang of exasperation.
Right before his eyes, w transford directly into an Altaria and, imitating Altaria’s previous actions, perford a self-ga Evolution.
Not stopping there, w then transford into a Gallade. Without relying on any ga Stones, the Gallade form it took on also underwent a spontaneous self-ga Evolution. From its aura to its appearance, even Terrance almost couldn’t tell the difference.
