Chapter 529 - Wild Dog

Arcanine stepped forward as a swarm of Rattata charged at it. However, as Arcanine lifted its front limbs and unleashed Close Combat, several Rattata were instantly swept away, crashing into the ones rushing in from behind.

Looking at the swarm of Rattata blocking its path, Arcanine wore a disdainful expression. It stepped forward and charged ahead.

As Arcanine ran, flas roared around it, the scorching heat seemingly igniting the very air. Finally, Totem Raticate made its move. It leaped high into the air—despite its large and bulky body, its jumping power was astonishing. Crossing the distance in an instant, it landed not far from Arcanine and suddenly launched Sucker Punch!

Terrance was shocked but did not command Arcanine to dodge. Arcanine intended to use the power of Flare Blitz to plow through the swarm of Rattata, but Totem Raticate's Sucker Punch was unexpectedly swift and well-aid, perfectly intercepting Arcanine's attack path and targeting its weak spot.
However, as Totem Raticate's Sucker Punch closed in, a sharp glint flashed in Arcanine's eyes. Suppressing its imnse montum, it shifted its front and hind legs slightly to the side. In the next instant, Arcanine lunged, adjusting its attack trajectory and colliding directly with the charging Totem Raticate.
Boom!
Caught off guard, Totem Raticate was sent flying backward. Arcanine, too, was forced back by the impact, its four paws carving deep marks into the ground.
"Arcanine's strength is even greater than Totem Raticate?" Island Kahuna Hala was astonished as he watched the clash between the two Pokémon.
But he wasn't the only one surprised—Terrance was equally stunned.
"There was no effect?"
After colliding head-on with Arcanine's Flare Blitz, Totem Raticate appeared almost unscathed despite being slightly weaker in strength!
Its defense is incredible!
"Terrance's Arcanine looks really strong."
Ilima, hiding in the grass, stroked his chin as he observed the battle, carefully thinking about how he would handle this Arcanine if he were the one facing it.
"If I had my Eevee battle it..."

Terrance felt a surge of excitent. How strong could a wild Raticate really be?
Raticate was a common Pokémon—perhaps not as extre as Caterpie or Magikarp, but still one of the more widespread lower-tier species.
Yet, under the influence of totem aura, not only had this Pokémon grown several tis larger—reaching almost the sa size as Arcanine—but its strength and defense had also undergone dramatic changes.
"If Raticate can beco this powerful... then what if my Arcanine also gained a totem aura and beca a true Totem Pokémon?"
Every physical attribute would see an overwhelming boost. For a Pokémon like Arcanine, which has a straightforward combat style, the power increase would be unimaginable!
Not to ntion—if the Totem Arcanine's size was also altered by the aura, that would be truly terrifying.

Hala was montarily stunned. Arcanine was surrounded by Rattata while facing off against Totem Raticate, yet Terrance looked in daze, as if his mind was elsewhere. Was he not worried about this battle at all?

"This outburst is a little different from before." Terrance looked at Totem Raticate, eager to see the limits of this wild Pokémon!
In Outrage, Arcanine used Extre Speed as the foundation for its explosive power. At breakneck speed, its body ignited into a raging inferno, unleashing its strongest attack!
Though Arcanine wasn't the most powerful Pokémon in Terrance's team in terms of overall strength, when it ca to pure instantaneous destruction, even Altaria couldn't compare. After all, this single strike could go head-to-head with Altaria's Dragon Rush and still have the upper hand.
Of course, such brilliance ca at a price...

The ground split apart.
The ground beneath Arcanine was instantly scorched into charred wasteland by the explosive flas. Using this surge of power, Arcanine lunged forward, charging straight at Totem Raticate.
Its eyes glowed deep red, and the fur around its paws had long since turned into blazing flas. The aura it emitted was terrifying, revealing its raw, untad wildness.
Facing this frenzied assault, the Rattata felt the overwhelming force emanating from Arcanine. Even with their leader's command, none dared to approach. Their instincts scread at them that even the re aftershock of this attack would be deadly to their bodies.
Seeing its underlings' cower, Totem Raticate's fury erupted. Its fierce gaze locked onto Arcanine, and its entire body began to gather power. It no longer dared to underestimate its opponent in the slightest.
