“I’m back.”

On top of Altaria, Terrance eagerly looked toward Fallarbor Town.

To return to Fallarbor Town as quickly as possible, he had completely exhausted himself.

At the mont, he was the only one who had returned. Master Victor had gone back to Lilycove City, saying he needed to search for so information on ga Evolution and prepare for the next steps while waiting for news from Terrance.

The main reason Terrance had co alone was to first verify the authenticity of the information.

If the matter turned out to be false, then Master Victor naturally wouldn’t need to concern himself with it.

“Stop here, Altaria. I’ll go on my own. You return to your Poké Ball first,” Terrance said.

Altaria nodded, slowly descended, and let Terrance land outside Fallarbor Town. After recalling Altaria into its Poké Ball, Terrance imdiately walked toward the Gym.

“Terrance?!”

As he hurried forward, many Fallarbor Town residents saw Terrance and greeted him. He responded with a smile but didn’t linger too long, continuing toward Fallarbor Gym.

Before this, he had already inford Ayan that he would be arriving in Fallarbor Town soon.

“He’s finally coming back.” Albus let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Terrance hadn’t kept them waiting too long.

“Fujiki, let

handle the battle this ti.”

“Suit yourself.”

“But Kotoko evaluates him quite high.”

“Heh, that girl? She seed really nervous when she saw us appear at Fallarbor Gym. Could it be that she has sothing going on with this Terrance?”

“Get lost!”

Albus waved his hand helplessly. It was just a joke—what was there to be so mad about?

Knock! Knock! Knock!

“Excuse , Terrance has returned…” Ayan said from outside the door.

Fujiki and Albus exchanged glances. The main character had arrived. Hopefully, their three days here wouldn’t be in vain.

Suddenly, Albus closed his eyes and looked in the direction of Gym, thinking to himself, “Terrance’s psychic power is incredibly strong—far greater than that of his peers. He is the first case among the Trainers we have found…”

“Could he be a psychic user?”

He quickly opened his eyes and saw Fujiki looking at him in surprise. Shaking his head, Albus said, “Let’s hurry over. We shouldn’t keep the Gym Leader waiting.”

“Who exactly are they?” Terrance furrowed his brows.

Ayan had told him that they were Trainers around his age. Would people like that…really know about ga Evolution?

Their purpose in seeking him out was sothing Terrance truly couldn’t figure out.

If it was to trade for a ga Stone, there were many better choices in the Hoenn region and even other regions. There was no reason for them to co to him.

Creak.

The door opened.

Terrance’s hair stood on end!

What was this feeling? His mind was full of doubts. It was as if his entire body was being completely scrutinized, like soone had seen through him entirely.

At that mont, Ayan approached, bringing along a young man and woman.

“Brother Terrance…” Ayan called out.

Terrance looked at the pair. The young man had a very pale complexion, giving off a sowhat sickly impression, while the young woman exuded a cold deanor that, in turn, created a unique and striking presence.

“Gym Leader of Fallarbor Gym, this is our first ti eting…”

“I’m Albus, and this is Fujiki. There’s no need for excessive introductions—let’s get straight to the point.”

“Alright.” Terrance gave them both a deep look and said, “You have Altaria’s ga Stone, don’t you? Could you let

see it first?”

“This…” Albus said, “That’s not a problem.”

“Fujiki.”

Fujiki took out a black bracelet and a stone.

The bracelet was inlaid with a round stone that emitted a colorful glow, except for the curved black stripe in the middle.

As for the stone, it was entirely pink, with two intertwined white and blue patterns in the middle—its colors closely resembling Altaria’s body.

“This is the Key Stone and Altaria’s ga Stone,” Fujiki said.

Although Terrance had never seen a real Key Stone or ga Stone before, these two items… certainly looked mysterious.

“What is your purpose?” Terrance asked directly.

“Before we tell you our purpose, let’s have a battle first,” Albus said with a smile. “Unless your strength ets the standard we’ve set, we won’t be able to proceed with any trades or cooperation.”

“A battle, huh? No problem,” Terrance said.

“Also, you can only use your Altaria. That’s one of the conditions,” Albus added.

“Any other conditions?” Terrance asked.

“No, that’s all. The battle can begin now. Do you need any ti to prepare?”

“No need, let’s start as soon as possible. Ayan, you be the referee,” Terrance said.

“Alright…” Ayan responded.

He was completely bewildered at the mont, but as long as he followed Terrance’s lead, everything should be fine.

“Let

think… To deal with Altaria… Maybe I should send out Lucario? No, that would be boring. Thinking it over, Aerodactyl seems like a better choice,” Albus mused to himself.

“So, we’ll head to the arena now. The match is a one-on-one battle, correct?” Ayan confird once more.

“Yes,” Albus nodded.

The group arrived at the battle arena inside Fallarbor Gym. Fujiki moved to the spectator area, Ayan took his position as the referee, while Terrance and Albus stood on opposite sides of the arena.

“The previous Altaria Trainers were all much older than him.” Fujiki observed Terrance carefully and shook her head.

“Send out your Altaria. My Pokémon is this one—co out, Aerodactyl!!”

As the Poké Ball’s light faded, the ferocious Aerodactyl erged. The mont it appeared, it let out a thunderous roar that shook everyone present.

The deafening sound swept through the entire room. Ayan shuddered—this was the first ti he had ever felt such an overwhelming presence from a Pokémon!

As Aerodactyl’s powerful cry echoed, the entire room seed to tremble. Terrance’s expression did not change as dramatically as Ayan’s, but he imdiately abandoned his previously relaxed mindset.

This was a formidable opponent—his strength far surpassed that of Brawly, Roxanne, and the others!

Even his own Altaria’s aura wasn’t this powerful!

“That really gave

a scare,” Terrance said, but after his initial surprise, he smiled and tossed out Altaria’s Poké Ball.

“Oh? You can still smile after sending Aerodactyl’s aura?” Albus looked toward the arena with interest.

Although this Aerodactyl appeared incredibly fierce, Terrance’s Altaria wasn’t a weakling either!

“Alt~aria~~~”

With a sky-blue body and fluffy wings that resemble cotton, it soared through the sky. The noble and elegant Altaria, faced with the fierce gaze of Aerodactyl, seed completely unaffected. At the sa ti, the mont Altaria appeared, a faint, shimring white mist surrounded its body, making it look as if it were in a fairyland, dreamlike and ethereal.

“Mist, huh?” A faint smile appeared on Albus’ lips.

This opponent was quite interesting.
