Silver Powder

“Not bad,” Terrance said as he opened the gifts.

But as he continued, his expression darkened.

“More Silver Powder?”

Rina’s lips twitched. Whatever excitent she had felt was quickly extinguished by the sight of the sand-like substance before her.

The gifts sent by the companies and corporations Terrance had worked with—including Mr. Scott—all turned out to be Silver Powder!

These gifts were ant for Fallarbor Gym. While there were slight differences in quantity, but…

Terrance gave a wry smile. Well, as a congratulatory gift for a Bug-type Gym, Silver Powder is indeed a pretty good choice.

However, he was dumbfounded at receiving the sa gift.

“Could it be…”

Suddenly, a dreadful thought crossed Terrance’s mind. Could all the other gifts be Silver Powder too?

Setting aside the exquisitely packaged bottles of Silver Powder, Terrance decided to open the gifts sent by his acquaintances from Crown Academy.

Silver Powder, Silver Powder, Silver Powder… and more Silver Powder!

At this point, Terrance was on the verge of breaking down. He began to suspect he might be the Trainer with the largest stash of Silver Powder.

Sure, the special silver powder could enhance the power of Bug-Type moves, which was undoubtedly useful…

“Is there anything else?” Rina asked, her gaze filled with bitterness as she looked up at Terrance.

“I think so?”

Terrance let out a helpless laugh. Silver Powder was certainly a valuable gift, and his teachers and Akon had sent quite a lot of it.

“Wait!”

“This… is from Teacher Teresa?”

At last, Terrance’s disheartened spirit found solace. He loved unique gifts like this one.

It seed that Teacher Teresa had anticipated Terrance receiving a pile of Silver Powder and had deliberately avoided choosing it. Instead, she had sent a bag of seeds.

Attached was an introduction: Chira Leaf, a type of plant with exceptionally high nutritional value. It was one of the rare plants best suited for Bug-Type Pokémon to consu, originally native to the Kalos region.

Holding the bag of seeds, Terrance couldn’t hide his surprise. This ant the rear garden where the Bug-Type Pokémon of Fallarbor Gym resided could now be enhanced with so higher-grade plants.

The Chira Leaf seeds from Teacher Teresa were sothing Terrance had never even heard of before. However, considering Teresa’s expertise in Pokémon food far surpassed his own, there was no doubt this gift was extraordinary. The more Terrance read about the effects of Chira Leaf, the happier he beca.

Looking at the last two gifts, Little Rina had lost all hope…

“Is this one from Mr. Champion?” Rina asked softly.

“Yes, this one is from Steven, and the other is from Professor Lucci,” Terrance replied.

“Quick, open them!”

Terrance picked up the gift from Professor Lucci first. He carefully unwrapped the packaging to reveal a delicate little box. Inside, a few sheets of paper lay quietly.

It was a guide for learning moves.

To be more precise, it was a comprehensive teaching system.

As Terrance skimd through the papers, his excitent grew with every page.

If the previous items were only slightly helpful to him, and there were many things that could replace them, then this information is an extrely useful rare resource—sothing he would have had no way of obtaining otherwise!

They outlined the teaching thods of four kinds of moves: Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Sandstorm, and Hail.

As Terrance read through them, he noticed that the thods were drastically different from the ones he had encountered before. They seed to take an entirely different approach, filled with many professional terminologies and a high level of sophistication.

What sets top-tier Trainers apart from ordinary ones? It’s how they train their Pokémon—and mastering moves is a key aspect of that.

For instance, when Glacia trains an Ice-type Pokémon in Ice Beam, the process is leagues beyond what an average Trainer could achieve with comrcially available teaching thods. The difference becos apparent in the speed and power of the final move, highlighting a kind of shallow knowledge monopoly.

Of course, a highly talented Trainer could devise their own perfect teaching thods, but the difficulty of doing so would deter over 99% of Trainers.

“So the gift from the Weather Institute is the teaching thod for these four moves…” Terrance was overjoyed. Even before delving deep into the information, he had already guessed their imnse value.

What is the primary focus of the Weather Institute’s research? Hoenn’s climate.

When it cos to weather studies, no other institution could claim to rival the Weather Institute, which is dedicated to solving Hoenn’s climate crises.

The thods they provided for teaching Pokémon weather-based moves were bound to be exceptional. Their value might even rival the secret techniques used by Elite Four mbers or Champions!

“Putting aside other things, even if our research on the four stones hits a bottleneck with no progress, this information can help Castform further improve its weather control. It won’t have to rely on external objects, instead it will have its own direction to explore!”

Rina helplessly sighed as she looked at Terrance, who was staring blankly at the sheets of paper.

Terrance had been of great help to the Weather Institute, and they were not stingy about it. The gift they gave to Terrance went beyond the bounds of a re gift, more like a further expression of gratitude.

“I owe another favor…” Terrance murmured, feeling the weight of the generous gift.

Only Steven’s gift remained.

What could it be?……

Rina leaned closer, eager to see what the final gift was.

Slowly, as the box was opened, a stunningly beautiful stone ca into view.

“It’s so pretty!” Rina’s eyes sparkled with excitent as she stared at the beautiful stone lying inside the box, letting out a gasp of wonder.

The stone was a brilliant shade of blue like snow. Its shape was rhomboid, and from their perspective, its surface glead like jade. Under the light, it shimred with a dazzling brilliance, utterly captivating. Under the light, the snowflake-like patterns created a dreamy, ethereal effect.

“What is this?” Little Rina asked in amazent.

She had no doubt that this was a valuable and highly ornantal keepsake or gem.

“This is… an Evolutionary Stone!”

Terrance carefully examined it, confirming his judgnt. It wasn’t just any Evolutionary Stone but one of exceptional quality—virtually free of impurities and brimming with energy to near perfection.

It was likely that only the core position of an Evolutionary Stone mine, near the Source Stone itself, could produce a stone of this quality!

A common evolutionary stone displayed in outdoor shops and stalls, and a truly high-quality evolutionary stone, although they have the sa function, their value and effect are vastly different!

“An Evolutionary Stone?” Little Rina was puzzled.

“If I’m not mistaken, this is an Ice Stone.” Terrance nodded vigorously. Steven’s generosity was astonishing; if one wanted to purchase an evolutionary stone of this quality, it might have a price but is hard to find on the market. This stone was even better than the Fire Stone he had used for Growlithe, and on top of that, it was a rare Ice Stone…

In truth, this stone was an unexpected find during one of Steven’s adventures. Its breathtaking appearance resembled a work of art, so the busy Steven had decided on a whim to use it as a gift. As for its value… Steven hadn’t given it much thought.
