But being a Breeder is just too difficult. Becoming an ordinary chef is also a very good choice, or perhaps a professional taster or food critic.

As for Rina, Terrance found it hard to make a decision. If she truly wanted to pursue the path of “punishing villains,” Terrance would support her. Though it was sowhat dangerous, he wouldn’t stop her. Instead, he would do everything possible to minimize the risks she might face.

With Terrance’s current connections, getting Rina into a junior police academy would be easy, whether through Teacher Julian, who was retired from the International Police, or Mr. Looker. What Terrance was worried about was… Rina failing to stick to her dream, and then unable to find a new purpose in life.

Failing to achieve a dream isn’t the scariest thing. The scariest thing is having no dream at all.

“Academy?” Rina was initially confused, but her interest was imdiately piqued. Thinking it was very interesting, she shouted, “Yes!”

Terrance nodded.

Everything requires experience. If setbacks are inevitable, it’s better to face them sooner rather than later.

‘I hope this trip would help Rina grow,’ Terrance was quite worried about her.

He had a similar conversation with Myu.

He hoped that when Myu turned ten, she could also go to school.

No matter the job or dream, without the process of learning, it’s hollow.

If Myu wanted to strive toward becoming a superstar, Terrance first ruled out the Kanto region. The various entertainnt industries in Kanto were extrely backward—it seed only the Trainer-related industries were thriving.

For real developnt, Terrance also ruled out Hoenn. Although it wasn’t as backward as Kanto, it still felt sowhat stagnant.

From what Terrance knew, the most thriving places for this path were Unova and Kalos, where the entertainnt industries were just as developed as Trainer-related industries.

However… they were too far away. Terrance was worried about Myu, so he ultimately decided to seek opportunities closer to ho. Relatively speaking, the Sinnoh region was a good choice. Of course, this was contingent on Myu’s own opinion.

Terrance took it upon himself to pave the way for them.

……

……

Three days later.

In a Pokémon Center in a certain city, Terrance made his appearance.

He had contacted Crown Academy and asked Akon to transfer over Surskit, Pineco, Spinarak, Gallade, and Castform.

As for Altaria, Arcanine, and Mismagius, they didn’t currently need Terrance’s guidance in their training and could manage on their own.

So, they were left in care of Akon for now. However, very soon, after Terrance had made arrangents for Surskit, Pineco, and Spinarak, they could all be brought back together.

“Co on out, Surskit, Pineco, Spinarak.”

After leaving the Pokémon Center, Terrance headed to an open space and released the three Pokémon.

Just like the five little bugs he had before, these three had seen him many tis in video calls, so they weren’t unfamiliar with him. However, eting face-to-face for the first ti, they still required so bonding.

And for Terrance, a Breeder, the best way to do that was, of course, through food~

It didn’t need to be highly nutritious—what mattered was creating food tailored to the tastes of each Pokémon, capturing their hearts with its deliciousness. ??????????????

“Surskit… a Water and Bug-type Pokémon. Its moves include Bubble, Water Sport, Quick Attack, and Sweet Scent.”

This was a Bug-type Pokémon capable of gliding across the water’s surface and releasing a sweet aroma from the top of its head to lure prey.

Moreover, its Water-type allows it to possess “water” ability. With four long legs supporting its round body, its dark, circular eyes stared at Terrance. The blush on its cheeks and the tuft of yellow hair on its head added to its adorable appearance.

Terrance smiled faintly before observing the other two Pokémon.

Pineco, Bug-type Pokémon, loved layering tree bark onto itself to reinforce its shell. Even if it beca heavier, it didn’t mind. Its appearance resembled a berry, making it one of the few Bug-types that could ignore bird predators.

Its moves, according to the Pokédex…

Tackle, Self-Destruct, Rapid Spin, Bug Bite.

Spinarak is a Poison and Bug-type Pokémon. Aside from its horned head and light green abdon, it doesn’t look much different from a spider. Spinarak’s silk is very tough, and it had the talent to sense even the tiniest changes in its threads, showing great focus and patience.

Poison Sting, String Shot, Constrict, Absorb, and Scary Face.

Not bad… Terrance thought to himself.

These three little ones were ready to begin training. They already had a solid foundation, but they needed more tempering before moving on to coordination training.

“Surskit, Pineco, Spinarak.”

Calling out their nas, Terrance looked at them seriously. “From now on, you’ll have so tough training ahead. Can you handle it?”

The three Pokémon responded with confident cries.

“Surskit, you will focus on Sweet Scent and Water Sport. Build a strong foundation, and we’ll leave other moves aside for now.”

“Pineco, you will focus on Rapid Spin.”

“As for Spinarak, your training will be the most challenging. You’ll work on String Shot, Constrict, and Absorb. But, you’ll have a senior Pokémon to guide you.”

Terrance looked at them: “Of course, this is only the training plan for the imdiate future. I’ll gradually expand the scope of your training based on your progress. But for now, these are the core areas.”

In addition to reaction and awareness, these basic abilities are almost essential for every Pokémon. These fundantals were sothing Terrance focused on for all his Pokémon. While the thods might vary, the standards applied to all.

Then, Terrance began to travel on foot through the wilderness, just as he had done before.

Along the way, he worked on sharpening the moves of these three new little bugs.

Gallade continued training in Teleport and Slash. Without learning any new moves yet, it could only refine its existing moves. Terrance was also working hard to help Gallade learn a new move.

As for Castform, it stayed with Terrance to further study the mysterious rocks.

A week later, Terrance and the three little bugs unknowingly reached the area around Mt. Chimney during their journey of challenges. Looking up at the azure sky and the towering mountain peak, the three Pokémon overheard Terrance talking to himself.

“With Altaria’s current strength, it should be able to defeat its mother now, right?”

In a few days, I will be able to have them stay together for a long period. As the ruler of Mt. Chimney, Altaria’s mother had developed formidable strength without any guidance. She still had much knowledge to pass on to Altaria.

Mt. Chimney… it was also an excellent place for Altaria to train in Dragon Dance and Erase.

“Let’s go.” Taking the three little bugs with him, Terrance began retracing his steps. This ti, however, he deliberately took a longer route while heading toward Fallarbor Town.

“Another week of training for them—after imparting them coordination knowledge, I’ll leave them with Ayan and Scarlet for now. Then, I’ll go pick up Altaria and the others!”

What followed would be an extensive and special training period for all of Terrance’s Pokémon before the Gym was established—a period of extraordinary growth for Terrance’s strength.
