As a person close to Earl Bute the secretary knew that the Salian’s were descendants of the Salian dynasty that existed nearly a thousand years ago.
The Salian Dynasty originated from the once powerful empire on the Second Continent—the extinct Holy Empire.
This family had an ancient history that was unknown to the outside world, but possessed an incredible power. The mbers of the families were all Wizards with elderly holding official position, and the patriarch of the family was an occult master who had quite a few nas and feats that made him a legend in the inner world.
As for the relationship between Bute and Salian was Bute was a of the branch of Salian family. But this wasn’t entirely the reason for Salian family to helping him, they do have the reason. In the eyes of public the Bute was a respectable gentleman as well as Councilor holding much authorities, as for Salian family although they were powerful they were unknown to public and apart from wizard title they didn’t have much authorities like Bute so likely Bute beca an important pawn in their hands.
As for Bute he needed the Salian family help to establish his position and status in the world so it was a mutual benefit for both of them.
Mr. Ennius, whom Count Bute was going to ask to protect him, was also his blood relative.

But what she didn’t know was after she fell into deep slumber last night, Shen Yi ca here through atomization and recorded this villa, he sohow felt that Su Ling would choose this option, so now it ca to the handy.

For Su Ling assassinating the Earl was just a piece of cake the real problems only lies on the aftermath, which she had yet to face, even for that she had no worries because she avenged the candy seller.
Holding the black knife in her right hand and the Book of Travelers in Ten Directions in her left hand she walked out of the villa.
“If it weren’t for Mr. Shen’s help, trying to sneak in and assassinate without leaving a trace would be incredibly difficult.”
“The best outco is I’m getting injured seriously, and for the worst…” Just recalling Count Bute’s disgusting words made her scalp numb.

After serving the order to the table, he walked back to the counter even though he was busy his mind wandered to Su Ling: “Su Ling should have succeed, right? If not, I wonder will she use the ‘Travel’ function of the Book of Travelers from Ten Directions?”
Shen Yi was not afraid that Su Ling would covert his book after borrowing it, but she might miss it.
He had no intention of following Su Ling to getting involved in her quest. For one reason he knew Su Ling was capable enough to do her work and other was he knew how concerned she was to this matter and only by avenging herself she would feel fulfilled.
So he focused on supporting her by providing her with the resources she needed to carry out her plan, and he was sure everything will go well.
As he was in thought, his phone ssage tone went off.
He eagerly took out his cell phone with the thought of a ssage from Su Ling, but saw it was from Chris.
She asked him if he had any free ti and planning to co to the cafe.
Shen Yi wasn’t disappointed but rather his eyes lit up. In fact, he was thinking about Chris every day!
“I wonder if the things I entrusted to her for auction were exchanged for money?”
