It’s late at night.

The airport.

An airplane lands in the deep of night.

After a brief taxiing, the plane slowly cos to a halt.

The cabin door opens, and Julian Lawson erges, followed by his assistant for this trip.

There is still a hint of fatigue on his face as he strides forward.

"President Lawson!"

Jude Chaucer had been waiting there early on, and upon seeing Julian, he imdiately waved the sign in his hand and approached.

The assistant follows, pushing the cart, and Julian nods at Jude.

Finally, they make their way through the crowd to the parking lot.

Just as they are seated and the car is about to start, a Bentley blocks their path.

The window rolls down, revealing the face of Silas Hawthorne in the back seat.

At that mont, Silas slowly turns his head to look in Julian’s direction.

Julian presses his lips together slightly.

"Let’s talk," Silas says.

Julian nods and replies, "Alright."

The two make their way to a secluded spot.

Their respective assistants and secretaries stand at a distance, creating a tense standoff.

"What do you want with ?" Julian finally speaks first.

Silas examines Julian up and down.

"It seems your leg is better," Silas remarks, "You can walk on it now."

Julian nods and makes a sound of acknowledgnt.

"Did you hear about what Isla Lawson did?" Silas continues.

Julian raises his eyes, observing Silas’s expression: "I will speak with her."

Silas suddenly laughs.

In the dim corner, the "exit" sign emits a green glow, making the space feel even more profound.

"How do you plan to talk to her?" Silas asks.

Julian recalls what he learned overseas about Isla’s actions.

"I will revoke her powers within the Lawson Group and let her take a good rest," Julian states.

"Is that all?" Silas gives Julian a long look.

Julian doesn’t reply, staring straight into Silas’s eyes.

The aning is clear: "What else do you expect?"

"So the Lawsons indulge the younger generation in this way," Silas chuckles coldly, "No wonder everyone dares to disrespect Serena!"

"Isla acted impulsively, but the Lawsons aren’t as futile as you claim, Silas," Julian retorts.

"Are they not?" Silas says, "Given Isla’s actions, if it weren’t Serena she was up against, do you think it would be so easy to resolve?"

Julian is at a loss for words.

It’s a fact.

Seeing Julian like this, Silas takes a step forward, closing in on him.

He says, "Don’t think that just because Serena is capable, you can overlook everything and bully her."

Julian’s fists clench tightly.

He recalls the resolute words Serena once said to him.

Thinking about the man, before him now, who lies beside her every night, jealousy nearly drives Julian insane.

"These matters are between Serena and ; they have nothing to do with you," Julian declares.

"Serena is my fiancée, how can it not concern ?" Silas responds.

Julian turns his face, his eyes locking fiercely onto Silas.

"You’re just temporarily looking after her. She belongs to !" Julian’s fists tremble from tightness, "She will inevitably return to my side."

Silas turns his face as well, looking at Julian as if observing a joke.

"Stop dreaming," Silas says, "You’ve lost her a long, long ti ago."

"I have not!" Julian presses forward, nearing Silas, "Have you seen what Xander posted? Silas, she loves , I am in her heart."

"Heh..." Silas lowers his eyes, laughing, "Julian, you should add a word to that."

"Once."

Silas lifts his eyes darkly, staring at the man who caused Serena so much pain.

Countless tis he told himself, as long as Serena was happy, he would silently protect her.

As long as she could be with the one she loved, his heart, his feelings, even if buried deep, wouldn’t matter.

But Julian treated her poorly.

Julian claid to love her, yet he always hurt her.

He even allowed the Lawsons to collectively hurt her.

"She once loved you, no one denies that," Silas says, "But that was then, and this is now."

"Julian, perhaps you haven’t realized, you’ve long lost the woman whose eyes and heart were once full of you, who loved you deeply."

Julian’s back teeth are nearly grinding to dust.

Silas looks at Julian.

In his eyes, loving soone ans making her happy and joyful.

When she wants to strive and work hard, be her support and let her shine.

When she’s tired, take over everything and let her heal in peace.

Rumors need to be stopped; she needs to be adored and loved, giving her security, not letting her feel anxious and uncertain.

But Julian never achieved any of these.

All Julian did was save her when young and preserve the Sheridan Family’s legacy.

At other tis, he made her sad, made her suffer.

She was hurt physically and emotionally.

It was Julian who let her down.

"Take care of yourself, take care of the Lawson Family," Silas warns, "Otherwise, I will personally deal with it for you!"

With these words thrown at Julian, Silas turns and leaves.

Leaving Julian standing there alone.

After a while, Jude Chaucer rushes over.

"President Lawson!" Jude’s face shows a trace of urgency.

"What is it?" Julian asks.

"There’s an issue with the Lawson Corporation, it’s said..." Jude explains the situation.

Julian imdiately follows Jude and leaves.

Sitting in the car, Silas quietly observes everything.

The ssages on his phone keep refreshing.

It’s ti to find sothing for Julian to do!

...

Ti slowly passes.
